Yes, Bissouma has a similar case to Greenwood pending police investigation so we couldnt really go near him. I'm sure Spurs know the risk and have mitigated it.

Of course but that is not the point. The excuse people were giving then was that there was no list and that was why we were slow in buying players.
Now that same excuse has been reworked for a different manager. Now the report is he is yet to complete his assessment, meaning he has not yet submitted his list. Another manager with no list entering the transfer window.

Man Utd are so unfortunate to have successive managers who are slow in submitting lists.

You believe that we are making moves based on REPORTS even when only that of FDJ has been followed up with a bid but you don't want to believe the other REPORTS where ETH was quoted as saying he needs to assess the players first before making a decision on whether or not he'll work with them...

If you don't think that is enough reasons for us to be moving slowly, I can only say I respect your opinion...

I think if you look at the club's recent history with transfers, it seems quite consistent with what is happening now. So its hard to say this is happening because its what ETH wants.

Then you know his motivation. When he has very recently publicly declared his love for Barca and the fact he's already at his dream club and doesn't want to leave.

I don't see the point in going after him after that.

De Jong is still not convinced to leave Barça and he wants UCL football - Man Utd will try to push again as Barça need to solve financial issues.

I don't support this move as the player is not keen to join.

I don't even get the negative reaction to Rafiu's departure, from ETH presser we could deduce he didn't want to work with Rafiu. Days after that presser, Rafiu announced he won't be staying on as consultant. Is it not visible to the blind that he left cos ETH didn't want to work with him. Una dey talk about structure like Ten Haag doesn't know what he is doing, he got good advice from Van Gaal before signing for United. He will demand for players he feels will fit his style and the board will sign him those players. I am so optimistic about next season, ETH will have my support and patience as long as the football to pretty....

All of you guys complaining that Ralf talks too much. I can now see that it's because none of you actually listens to what he has been saying in press conferences. Everything in my previous post was publicly stated by Ralf in his press conferences.

Man utd is too big for what he was trying to do. The consultancy thing is almost like a DoF role, else, why did he accept a ‘demotion’ (re: leaving a bigger role at Lokomotiv)?

Because he realised they weren't going to listen to him anyway. All his recommendations in January were ignored. Including dealing with Lingard. He was completely overruled. So why do a job you realise you don't have the power to implement any changes?
