I just watched the Rayo match this morning. I thought Donny did ok. His style is clearly 1 touch play so it seems like he doesnt impose himself in games much. I dont think he'll ever be a first teamer but he's a decent option off the bench and a rotation option as he finds space very well.

It doesn't even look like we play in the same premier league as Liverpool and City.

Atleti have played their usual game and beaten us. Made it scrappy and scored a good winner.

For someone so big and with such a big fhead Maguire is awful at heading the ball.

Is it just me or is the system exposing the lack of quality of the players? Positioning seems good but our passing quality has been poor. And some decision-making too.

Elanga is not of the required standard.

Top 4 isn't out of reach and that fellow has a point.

If only we had a coach who could add one to two, we could have easily made top 4 or even top 3 last season.

Conte and Tottenham had nothing on us and he got them to top 4 anyways.

Last season's top 4 are the current best 4 managers in the league. ETH has yet to prove he's on their level. So he has a lot of work cut out for him.

No. If the club have decided that is the player they want then they should move fast. I am only advocating on them moving quickly to secure signings that they have identified.

Saw a clip of this kid in the friendly against Liverpool last night. He looks special. naturally we're slow movers so expect someone else to steal him before we can find our card pin.

maybe playing style can be better but the personnel quality look worse.

We need atleast one Midfielder and a forward who is comfortable playing wide.

Why are we so adamant on keeping him? Mutually terminate his contract and let him feck off to whatever UCL club he wants to go to. Club pisses me off sometimes, we need to get with the times and not be Nostalgia FC. No one individual is bigger than the club. If you don't want to play for United, then fucking leave.

I think the main issue is that we dont have enough players in attack to just let him walk out of the club.

United did. According to Fabrizio we originally agreed €65m + 20m add ons. We upped it to €75m guaranteed plus 10m addons to help the deal. Although that doesn't seem to cover the whole amount owed it's more than half but I guess Barcelona aren't willing to cover the rest.

Let's not kid ourselves though. He's not in a hurry to come to United. This much is a fact.

They owe him money too and it is easier to negotiate when you have an advantage which he currently does. Until they agree in writing about how they'll pay him the 17M or so owed, he does not have to leave. I am pretty sure he tried to buy Ole's house in Manchester which implies that he is considering playing for your team.

It's reported that he has agreed to Barca's 50% paycut offer to stay.

Elanga, Amad, Pellistri and Garnacho cannot be our attacking options this season. We need to sign another wide attacker and those boys need good loan spells.

My feeling is that initially Maguire and Martinez will be the first choice CBs.

That boy needs to play. unless ETH decides he's going to allow him to play Europa he should probably go on loan. He needs games. Savage looked good too. confidence on the ball and decent range. Amad, Pellestri did ok but they probably will only see cup games. Same with Elanga.
