Positions 1 -6 -> ( City, Liverpool, Chelsea, United, Arsenal, Spurs) in order.
United Top scorers? - Martial
Overall premier league Top scorers? - Aubameyang

Premier league winners - City - I think they'll win it because it looks like they're serious about getting Koulibaly. I think Liverpool will run out of steam but both are still ahead of the rest. Spurs could be dark horse for 3rd or come 6th. Depends what chapter of Jose we see this season. I dont know how good Arsenal are yet. Chelsea if their signings hit the ground running will do pretty well especially if they sign a good keeper. They look like a team that just need a few pieces. I like what we've done with the midfield so injury permitting, I think we'll do well. I'm not confident in defence and the keeper so hopefully they can hold it together. I hope we get more than 66 points which should be enough for top 4.
FA Cup Winners - Liverpool - I think they'll have to focus on a Trophy and that could be FA cup. they havent won it in a while. Otherwise, Arsenal to retain.
Champs League winners - Juventus - I think they might finally do it this year. Bayern are the obvious choice but I'm going with Juve to finally win it after so long.
League - Ole might get us the League Cup.

Good talent but abit too raw in my opinion. Needs a top coach.

Doucoure is a good signing for Everton. I'm more impressed by that signing that with James. Unless he can rediscover himself.

VDB is not active in possession football o. His skill set is very different to what Thiago brings. I am just hoping this VDB deal does not backfire cos there are reasons i always preferred FDJ to him.

I do agree that he is very much a final 3rd player. A little similar to Bruno actually but Bringing in Thiago must mean Pogba, Matic or Fred is out?

We didn't do Romero anything. If anything , he saw more action as a second choice goal keeper than most other second choices will see in other top teams. It's one of the reasons he could easily get a club in a midtable EPL team without any hassle

You completely missed my point.

I just hope we dont treat Henderson the way we treated Romero. I think that's part of the reason DDG got too comfortable and started messing up.

DDG needs to know there is real competition for his place because the mistakes of the last 18 months are unacceptable.

Gone are the days when Madrid outbid clubs for huge talents, sancho is English so wont have the unnecessarily Bayern pull, mostly German players are the ones who run to Bayern. We are bigger than Chelsea on one on one transfer duels except if we are not interested. I dont see Liverpool spending over 100m when their front 3 is intact. Again most of this will also depend on how we perform this year. In case we didn't buy him this summer

Liverpool will be primed to spend big next year as this will be their 2nd summer without a big outlay on transfers.

Definitely. I dont see how City dont win the league with Messi. We'll all be fighting for 2nd place for the foreseeable future. Hopefully he doesnt join City.

It is either we get him or Bayern uses us to increase price for Liverpool.

This is not happening. They're using us to put pressure on Liverpool. I'm certain we're not in for Thiago especially after signing Donny.

I hope the rumours about selling Fred are not true. I dont know why we would do that unless we're planing to replace him with another new signing.

Donny is definitely not a replacement for Fred in midfield.

With Bruno, Pogba, VDB, Fred, Matic and McTominay, I can't wait to see how Ole will set up against Liverpool/City...I reckon we should be able to take the game to them and dominate the play.

In an ideal world definitely, but please remember City and Liverpool have settled squads with settled styles of play at a title challenge level with very experienced managers. We haven't shown yet that we have what it takes to challenge them over the course of a season.

Well we haven't signed anyone yet. Only one close is Donny. So all what signings is going to put us in a title challenge?

I wonder if the club still plans to clear some players.

The likes of Dalot, Perriera,Smalling,Jones,Rojo and Even Lingard. We sell all the guys who haven't contributed this season and promote some youth team players. The club can easily recoup some £50m or so from sales and save on wages.
