I really like Ndidi but I can't help notice he isnt enterprising enough when on the ball. Without the ball he's positionally excellent. Great at interception and covering space. Good tackler too but even Matic does more with the ball. I feel we need someone with a good balance of both.

Watching him and Ndombele last night was an absolute Dream. What a quality pairing they would be. The talent France have in their team is quite ridiculous.

France are playing against Bolivia with a strong team. You forget how much talent is in the French team. So many excellent players.

Its easy to say in hindsight but I definitely felt it was a mistake starting Kane. He hasn't played a competitive match in well over a month and you want to start him in the CL final. He should have been coming off the bench late in the game.

Poch has still done a great job to get as far as he did. Probably the only team in top leagues not a spend a penny last summer and the got to the CL final and finished in the top 4. So he definitely deserves credit for that. I think the occasion was too much for spurs and Liverpool were quite comfortable because they have the experience and they are just a better team than spurs so Kane or not, Liverpool would have probably won.

Let's all calm down and ignore rumours. The important thing is the make up of the squad for the opening match of the premier league season.

Rabiot heavily rumoured again. Not sure how I feel about him. I didn't watch him much this season but he was pretty good last season. Its the rumours about his attitude and drama I don't like hearing.

Cant rely on a striker who needs 10 chances to score 1 goal. If Lukaku scored at least 80% of the chances that fell for him this season, he'd be up there with dem Aguero, Salah, Mane and Aubameyang.

The Southampton game was the only game all season i saw Lukaku channel his inner Van Nistelroy and score goals out of nothing like a world class forward. In every other game, he was shìte.

You're right. Lukaku has had some poor games. But you're going overboard with the criticism. Of course he's not as good as those you named but you cannot deny that the service he's received especially last season has been very poor.

Man Utd have ruled out a move for Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt, according to Sky sources.

Reports in the national press over the weekend had suggested United could move for the £65m-rated Netherlands international this summer.

But Sky Sports News understands United have withdrawn the interest they held in De Ligt, with many among the Old Trafford hierarchy believing the 19-year-old is set to join Barcelona.

This is a good move from us. It shows we're just being used as a negotiation tool for De ligt and his agent. Let them face themselves and not use us for leverage when they have no interest with us.

sometimes fans think these players are superheroes it's just a job in the end, that's why people shout "champions league leverage" which is honestly disappointing because it holds very negligible aces in the negotiating rooms.

For one he's still better than Rashford.
He's a good small team bully.
If he was in a team that creates lots of chances he would score more than 30 goals.
I'm not saying he's a world class striker but he can be a good piece if he was in a good team.
I'm also not convinced about replacements out there for what we need.
We wont get our money back if we sell him, no way inter can pay £75m+ so its better to keep him than to make a loss.
I can't deal with Rashford being our main striker next season. It might send me to the hospital with an aneurysm.

My thinking is that we should keep what we have and improve on it. If you have Messi playing number 10, then Lingard, become squad players in case Messi is injured. Not having to call on one Chonogong from under 18. Lol

At this rate we won't be challenging for top 4 in those years anyway. I'm not advocating to sell 10 - 15 players. But theres probably aleast 4/5 that needs to be replaced in the starting lineup and some of those high earners not good enough to start can be replaced by academy players deemed good enough.

There should be gradual transformation except when we get an exceptional talent for a position.

I agree with that but up to a certain extent. We can't continue doing the same thing and expect improvement. And we can't base decisions on if this one person is fit what would happen. For the past 6 years, the core of these players have failed us and have shown time and time again that they're not good enough for the top level. We need stability but you can't build a house on paper you need a strong base to build on. We need that strong base in place first. Even the Mentality around the team is all wrong so its best to tear it up and start again properly. Fact is the core of this squad will not get us to where we want to be. So doubling down on the past isn't the way to fix it. Thats my view anyways.

However if it’s true that OGS will be given 250m we can’t spend half of it on an unproven teenager.
Even if we need to spend large on a teenager Sancho is less of a risk.

I would not go above 80m for either of them (assuming the 250m package is right). There are too many holes to fill and it looks like Koulibaly is coming for about 80m already, leaving 170m for about 3 or 4 positions.

Whoever they choose please they should just make the right choice.

Why does it look like Koulibaly is coming? Any indications apart from paper rumours? I feel like City will come in for him or De ligt now Kompany has left.
