Unlike polygyny, polyandry is a form of polygamy where a woman takes two or more husbands at the same time.
It is practised in some parts of the world like Tibet, northern parts of Nepal and India among others.
It has been used to control overpopulation in some parts of Asia in the past.
So I've been wondering, if it's not illegal and abnormal, then why is it not practised in Nigeria?
Why is polygyny allowed and polyandry frowned at?
Is it against our culture, norms and values?
