There are alternatives

There is carter bridge and Eko bridge.
Am saying even if there is no alternative

Fairy can easily replace the bridge and generate revenue, create more employment

APC people just like to build projects that they can brag with

It's similar to a poor man who gets a loan of 100 million use it to build personal house and buy car

You tell him building house and buying car is a bad decision and he tells u.. U don't want him to live life
Politics / Re: Popular Obi Supporter Questions The Benefit Of 3rd Mainland Bridge by mrvitalis(m): 6:18pm On Apr 30

This guy here is a popular supporter of Peter Obi. this statement below was made on a thread on a thread where Peter Obi condemned the relevance of the coastal road.
This guy here while trying to make his point and support their oga, questioned what the economic benefit of the third mainland bride is?

It is important for people who think they are being fairminded to know the kind of people they are dealing with. Why they may pretend to be using logic, but the real motive behind their actions is pure hatred.

Give them news like APC steal 15 trillion they will be happy, but now that the news about a possible 15trillion been invested in a massive project like this, their main oga has been tweeting up and down, while the foot soldiers like this one are everywhere trying to gaslight people to hate the project.

You said plenty thing and said nothing... What exactly is the economic benefit of 3rd mainland bridge

It has zero economic benefits as it doesn't generate revenue

Is it a bad project no... But it's a feel good projects my only issues with feel good projects are when they are build in period of economic hardship or built with borrowed funds

You empty guys just shout and make zero point

Note ;- it's obvious most of you guys quoting me don't even know what economic benefits means... So far no body have been able to name one economic benefits of the 3rd mainland bridge or even second niger bridge

Those are feel good projects
are they good yes
are they important yes

But should never be built on borrowed funds
Should never be built when economy is not growing

Below is a picture explaining economic benefits

Left for me I would expell every ikwerre man in Ohanaeze

To be a member of Ohanaeze your king must declare that you and your people are igbos... That should be the first criteria

Folks see question human being de ask. Anytime that bridge is closed for maintenance work, most of Lagos feels it, yet see the kind of questions you are asking.

Some of you guys are evil at heart.

Because of this statement, I will double my support for the coastal road.

Most lagosians feel it because there is no alternative

A fairy system say 100 of them can carry 500 cars each can solve that issue and cost far less than the bridge cost to build

And generate billions yearly creates more jobs

You don't build feel good projects with borrowed money

Building a village house is not bad but what would you say if a poor man got a loans to improve his life and use it to build a village house ?

And what is the economic benefits of 3rd mainland bridge?

A simple fairy system that can carry people and car would do and generate billions

All you APC people know is to build worthless projects that u can brag with, that's all

For you that's governance

GDP growth, HDI and other relevant development stats means nothing to you

Politics / Re: Peter Obi Vehemently Condemns Lagos-Calabar Highway As A Misplaced Priority by mrvitalis(m): 4:50pm On Apr 30
emkz:

If anyone from the Niger-Delta comes across the thread, please remember that some of you voted for Peter Obi. Peter Obi has demonstrated he is against the progress of the Niger Delta communities. The bulk of the funds for running our economy comes from the Niger Delta. But he says a big project to criss-cross the Niger Delta is a misplaced priority.

Note that the US spent their way out of recession through the New Deal which focused on massive infrastructural development across board, including roads. There is no nation interested in progress that is currently not engaged in one form of infrastructural development or the other. But the one which is 60 years old overdue in Nigeria, Peter Obi is fighting it, simply because he lost election.

If he didn't build anything meaningful in Anambra, I think it is disingenuous to fight against something being built through the Niger Delta. Thanks to Tinubu's ingenuity, Lagos is undergoing massive infrastructural development and embarking on an audacious railway project which the likes of Rufai Oseni would condemn.

Peter Obi doesn't want the progress for the Niger Delta. He just wants to get the votes and use anti-developmental and archaic ideas to ruin this country completely.

Only vote for those who want progress to be in your land. With this tweet, Peter Obi has shown he is not interested in that.

As for the Landmark CEO who has been all over the place making noise, can he show us documents where the shorelines and beaches in his location were ceded to him? If he violated the right of way, it is evil for him to complain. The best thing to do was to meet and find ways to relocate his business or shift to an area where the coastal highway won't pass. When I travelled through Accra-Cape Coast highway, part of which was adjacent to the ocean, it was a beautiful sight with the blue waters! Guess what? Beaches still functioned!!

Just to add, a road network is also a delight for businesses. Food can easily be transported from rural areas to urban centers and those in rural communities would make good money.

But Peter Obi does not want this.
75 billion for SMEs
800 billion for 50km road that won't generate any meaningful revenue

Then you wonder why our GDP moves from $560 to $252 billion

There was no time in history when Fulani terrorist attacks was as high as it is now in recent history in Igboland.
Fulani attack in Igboland is very rare from begining of time no time in history have they attacked Igbo villages like in other region. So do not give unmerited credit to another group of bandits majority of ndi Igbo wished they never existed.

If you say so then no point for this argument

Both ESN and Naija army are useless.
Esn should stop making excuses and put their money where their mouth is.
There have never been Fulani terrorist atacks in Imo state yet that is where useless esn is very active,Today they won't allow children to go to schools and their parents cant go to work either. That is what esn is good at.
Yet the people protected by ESN has lowest Fulani attacks

When have you called amotakun useless for the attacks on South West

Name a region with less Fulani attacks than South East then I would take u seriously

Same army that was chasing ESN everywhere in uzowani is now no where to be found

Story for the deities. Jonathan worked with extremely qualified Nigerians, but they kept stealing money up and down. Nigérians are extremely insincere people. You need to be firm like Obasanjo to keep them in check. That's why Obasanjo remains the best president Nigeria has produced since 1999.

Now, Let's Look At Your Solution Very Closely.

What If We Replaced Our OVER-DEPENDENCY on Maize To Feed Chickens And Other Animals With High Quality Cassava Peels (HQCP) ?

Is This Not A Better Solution ?

Not suitable more than 10% composition for poultry

Can get suitable for rabbits tho

Share Your Personal Experience.

Let's See The Political Solutional Project That You Are Working On That Drives You To Write What You've Just Written.

We Are Waiting.
If you follow me here I have always talked about what I called comparative advantage

Let's look at the poultry industry for example... Nigerian seems to have a comparative advantage in the sense that we produce it cheaper per ton

And we have a chance to take on 30% of the global trade if we invest into it

What's holding us back then? Our maize production and soy production are very expensive compared to the world

We don't have comparative advantage here, even if we do others have higher potential than us

Solution

Allow mazie and soy import, that would reduce the cost of producing poultry products, we can then export this products and have a net positive trade balance

But the corn and mazie industry would die? Realistically they are already dead... So what's the point

Poultry create a $100 billion dollar GDP addition
Over $5 billion in revenue

And over 10 million jobs

This is just a rough example how development works
