You're not even half smart in any way. The CBN floats a policy to curb speculators and saboteurs like you, the result which is evident for the world to see as you guys are shedding tears everywhere and you claim it to be something wrong, you're not well, my brother.
You said who floated naira?

Lmaooo define floating

Come to think of it, if what you claimed in your comment is what the government is doing, is it not done in good faith, to strengthen the Naira? Yet, economic saboteurs and enemies of the state like you are frustrating the efforts for your selfish personal gains. Yet, you are always the one to scream to high heavens how bad the country is bla bla bla. Don't worry, continue to hold your Dollars, when the time reach to cry, handkerchief nor go reach to mop your tears again, na mopping stick you go need by that time.
Does it matter if it's good faith or not?

Doing something wrong in the best of faith won't get you any good result

Yes ooh that's APC thinking

Give 50k to 1 million people to keep them poor instead to give 1 billion to 50 business that would create 1000 high paying jobs , that can pay back the 1 billion loan so you can repeat the scheme over and over again

Lol petty traders... APC u guys know nothing about economics at all

Business / Re: Naira Depreciates By N64 Against Dollar At FOREX Market by mrvitalis(m): 10:38pm On Apr 22
ogododo:
FMDQ data indicated that the Naira depreciated to N1,234.49 per US dollar on Monday compared to N1,169.99 on Friday.

Similarly, the parallel forex market tumbled to N1200 per Dollar on Monday from N1,100 on Friday.

The development comes after the Naira depreciated three times last week after months of gains.

Recall that the Economic and Financial Crime Commission resumed clamping down on cryptocurrency platforms in Nigeria amid the recent rise of the Dollar in the FX market.

Although analysts blamed the depletion of Nigeria’s foreign reserves for the Naira depreciation, the Central Bank of Nigeria, Governor Olayemi Cardoso, said it is due to foreign loan repayment.

As of April 15, the country’s FX reserves dropped to $32.29 billion.

10 million people benefited from 5000 ?

Bros abeg this argument is reducing my IQ

You give people 50k , 5k is what you are comparing to majority credit facility given to industry that would create millions of jobs pay back it's loan

Are u joking?

Are you for really?

Where in the grave when PDP government gave banks $3 billion plus intervention funds?

Where you in the grave when Nollywood got 500 billion?

It is good you agreed that good roads influences cost meaning having good roads is a good thing.it is part of aides to trade.when a govt provides a good platform for businesses to thrive like tinubu is doing, the economy will prosper even if govt doesn't intervene financially.
How do you guys think.. Roads are important but there are things government can do that have more impact yhan roads

How u guys can't get this is beyond me

Oga,does it not occur to you that if there are good roads from the ports to destination points, goods will be cheaper? Does it not occur to you that if trains are ferrying goods from apapa to Onitsha, prices will go down? How many times did importers complain of the gridlock and bad roads around apapa and surroundings,Benin ore road? Have you forgotten that goods in Lagos are cheaper and when it gets to ss,it becomes costlier because of transport cost and are you not aware that if the roads are smooth, transporters will reduce their fares? Can't you fathom that food roads in the north is a principal reason why goods are cheaper there?
Tinubu himself is a real businessman not a Chinese infatuated trader like your principal.are you aware dapo abiodun and badaru abubakar are top businessmen and notable members of the chamber of commerce? A lot of the politicians you see are top businessmen before venturing into politics.tinubu has been friends with men like elumelu, bua cement, indomie, dantata for ages.tinubu was mentored by Abiola who was Nigeria richest at that time.pandora no reach
Obviously you haven't done business before... Transportation cost is less than 5% the cost of a product

Oga road is a basic infrastructure.how will goods be easily transported if there are no good roads? You mean you are not aware that transport cost affects prices of goods? How will people move about easily in bad roads? Are you aware that rail facilitates quicker movement of goods(heavier goods that vehicles can carry)? Have you realized that countries with stable economies and decent GDP have a good transport system including rail?
We can agree that buhari somewhat mismanaged the economy but tinubu is remedying the situation
How are the imported goods getting to the buyers

Have any businessman told you road is his top 10 problem?

How can you know the issue of businessman when there is no businessman in his cabinet

Jokes aside... You can never take tribalism out of someone from that region

No matter how exposed they are

GEJ who grew our GDP from $350 billion to $565 billion is clueless?

People could travel freely down South, GEJ handled the northern security issue very well till he realized the northerners themselves didn't want it resolved

Tinubu so far has performed worse than Buhari in every aspect... I dare you to name one sector tinubu is better than Buhari

Who are the so called experts? Wale and cardi b?

What are they doing now that emefile didn't do?

Oga,human development and Infrastructure go hand in hand.theres no rule that says one can't be more than the other.the govt right from 1960 has been dolling out money to businesses,to what end? All the govt needs to do is to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive by providing security, infrastructure, enacting friendly policies, discouraging importationetc.these financial interventions are done on ad hoc basis and are to be repaid sir.
To what end? That's what grew your GDP to $565 billion

You stopped for 8 years it falls to $252 billion

Infrastructure that's needed are basic essential infrastructure, health, education, the rest should be built when it's needed not when it's wanted

And most importantly when the people can afford them

Train need people to break even and get well maintained, trains need ticket of $5 to 10 dollars to achieve at... Building a train when your GDP per capita is foolishness

This is a careless talk just the way obi talks.are you aware that the Lagos Cali road is PPP and will mainly be funded by HITECH? The fg counterpart funding will be spread within our budget for 8 years while the 200 bil naira grant is cash readily available?
Obi that knows so much, what did he achieve in anambra
Lol u want to shift goal post abi

Your money for infrastructure can't be more than your credit facilities for your business community and u want growth

It's like you have not been following news.
There are many roads rehabilitation and construction going in Nigeria presently .
Even, work is still going on with the east west road that presently connect Lagos to calabar.
It's just that the road can't be upgraded to the standard of super highway.
The new road will reduce the distance between Lagos and calabar.
We don't need to spend a whole day on the road if the road is straight
So why not fix the roads, use the money to boast the economy

What is the achievement of Peter Obi in Anambra State that made you to think he will perform better as a president.
South South deserve the best and they have been neglected in the past.
The money for the road is not wasted because it's going to be recoup through toll later .
Other road projects are still going on alongside.
Nigeria deserve great and landmark project like this, it's even small compared to what developed nations have built.
Not like mediocre bore hole project that peter Obi built in the north that looks horrible and doesn't last

I respectfully disagree

Chinese students finish secondary school at 17 or 18.

USA is roughly the same.age.

Ditto many developed countries. UK still does something called a level before you enter university.

The 13 year olds you hear finishing school? Rare ones. Some do well, some collapse. There is one of them,an American , who got a.phd in astrophysics at 19 self. People were predicting great things for him. Today he does manual work.

I even know of two Nigerian kids who went through school fast like that. One of them managed to get to masters level before he cracked.

Most students overseas are 17 or 18.when they reach university. Any child graduating before 16 was rushed.
Of course they are rare they are special breed, those are the people who change the world

Most people would get admitted by 18 by the way why the restrictions

Some even get PhD at 19 , 20 21

Yet we want to Hold our own back till they are 18

Honestly federal government should allow states handle their education system abeg

You guys can keep making minimum age 30 even

If you can pass weac and jamb at the age of 10 I see no reason you should be denied admission honestly

Highest it should be restricted to school close to guiden
