The economy of Nigeria is only bigger in figures and apart from that it has nothing to show for it. SA remains the bull in Africa's kraal. He eats from his crops and still take a big chunk out of Nigeria's portion. |

Now our economy is now the biggest on the continent by far. South africa has no business in bric anymore. Go ask japan what China is doing to them with their economy even though japan has more infra and wealth. It is what we will do to you. We are in the mint countries and we are a monster no african country can stop. SA is an official member of BRICS. Just a reminder. |

agaugust: South Africa too could not build her own jet fighters or even ordinary air to air missiles to replace the weak Mirage jets France sold to you, you kept complaining of Cuba's MiG-23 air superiority throughout the war. So what makes you better?
The G-5 and G-6 artillery technology was imported and sold to South Africa by a Canadian, while the Nuclear bomb technology was imported from Israel and sold to you.
South African arms industry was built by secret b..reast feeding from oversees throughout the arms embargo. Learn to quote history . Should I say that SA is helping Nigeria to build her own MRAPS, looking into how springbok has invaded your space. However, let me remind you that G5 and G6 are south African property and not that of a Canadian. |

ChukwuCantDie: Anything on Nigerian soil can be nationalized in less than 5 seconds there is nothing complicated about it... but of course a South African Zulu/Xhosa slave would know nothing about doing that because the whites still own everything in your country 20 years after the end of apartheid. You are dreaming. It means you do not understand the concept of nationalisation. Go and educate yourself first. MTN and all SA firms cannot be nationalised by Nigerian government, they can only be banned to operate in Nigeria. |

agaugust: . Africa's best army goes wild, Blitzkrieg on many towns
Boko Haram runs away before bulldozing Nigeria army arrives !
This is the beginning of the end of Boko Haram war.
Champions of Africa, NA & NAF show why they are the best...
World class Blitzkrieg :
"There was fighting in Mubi North LGA on Monday where residents said dozens of soldiers drove in trucks, armoured vehicles and on overloaded motorcycles into the town at high speed from the direction of Vintim, causing panic.
"I saw several soldiers passing at high speed but they later returned to Vintim and proceeded in the direction of Michika"
"Yes, there have been fierce battles between troops and Boko Haram, but from what we have seen, the troops have the upper hand. Some soldiers left Bimtim for Betso. Some left Birim and followed Baga route. Some reached Izgi town, thereby encircling the Boko Haram in their strongholds. The troops continued to push them", a resident said.
"A resident told BBC Hausa Service yesterday that some of the insurgents were spotted on motorbikes desperately searching for escape routes in Betso."
"Yola and Abuja — Soldiers are said to have taken control of towns in Adamawa State earlier seized by Boko Haram insurgents including Bazza, Gulak and Michika after heavy fighting with the insurgents over the weekend, our correspondents gathered yesterday.
Hundreds of soldiers accompanied by helicopters took over Bazza and Michika on Saturday with little resistance from the insurgents who were said to have fled before the arrival of the troops."

Nigerian army NEVER struggles looking for records of victory, we don't steal glory or share glory like South African military
We fight alone, die alone, win alone, take 100% glory alone....a true army, proved number one in Africa and in the world 2014 !
.

. Have you heard that your military is in fact accused of bribing and threatening journalists of local media houses to only report positively about military against Boko haram. Ballooning number of casualties against Boko haram and discouraging media to report about their own casualty. Propaganda does not win the war. Have you also asked yourself why other major media houses do not report lies that those small media houses are writing on the net. Meanwhile, champions do not allow those that they account to by security to perish in the hands of the enemy. Boko haram is killing citizens at ease and they operate in Nigeria with impunity. Champions do not allow for that, they drive the enemy out of their territory. |

South Africa has NO OTHER WAR HISTORY for SANDF in 20 years, so they desperately want to claim Congo UN mission for themselves Hungry and desperate South African military, hungry for a tiny piece of war achievement, not struggling to share Congo war glory with....Malawi and Tanzania.....Shame
You are not even struggling to share glory with the class of Ethiopia.....SANDF is flexing muscles to prove superior to....Malawi...Shame
Tanzanian and Malawian soldiers led in the front while South Africa was trolling behind them they died for you, they lost soldiers by facing bullets, SANDF was hidden behind safely
Tanzanian D-30 artillery also pounded M23 into submission.
MONUSCO you said did not fight? Ukranian Mi-35 Hinds of MONUSCO were together in joint attack with FIB SANDF Rooivalks against M23.
Indian army was raining mortar artillery on M23, other countries were flown to flank-guard and rear guard positions to avoid pincer or rear tactical maneuver attacks by M23 on FIB.
Tanzanian Brigadier and Brazilian General planned ALL the MONUSCO and FIB operations, their brains gave the battle plans to South Africa and their mouths commanded the SANDF in battle.
Hey ! Glory theives of Soweto, next time you want to take glory for a war, go there alone to fight as South African Military just like you did in C.A.R. against Seleka rebels, DON'T HIDE UNDER THE ARMPIT of United Nations multinational intervention force of over 20 countries co-operating together, get it ?
https://static.spplus.com/pictures/United-Nations-logo.jpg
The Congo DRC war involved all these countries contributing 20,000 soldiers, plus armour, artillery, and helicopters from.....
Algeria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Benin, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Jordan, Kenya, Malawi, Malaysia, Mali, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United Republic of Tanzania, United States, Uruguay, Yemen and Zambia.
. We did not need a brief overview of UN since we know what it is. FIB was led by SA, fact. |

Heavy fighting between Nigerian troops and Boko Haram terrorists ensued yesterday in Adamawa State as soldiers backed from the air by Nigerian Airforce attack helicopters launched an attack to retake territories in the possession of Boko Haram.
In the ensuing battle that continued into the night, Vanguard gathered that about 400 Boko Haram terrorist had been killed while there were casualties on the part of the Nigerian soldiers.
Military sources in Adamawa state told Vanguard : “I can assure you that we are advancing successfully. We have dealt a heavy blow on the terrorists. They didn’t expect what they are seeing. Our armoured tanks are blasting and they are running for their lives. The airforce is providing air cover and hitting them also.
“I cannot give you a categorical answer regarding casualties but so far about 400 of the terrorists have been killed."
“From reports on the ongoing battle, we may have lost a few soldiers but it cannot be confirmed because usually, they may have been injured and are holed up somewhere for first aid treatment” the source said.
Contacted on the development, Director of Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade confirmed the fighting . According to him, “the army came in on Sallah day and since then fierce fighting has been on. But, as you can see the insurgents are moving away and the military are following them”.
“The insurgents who were in their thousands came through Uba and attacked the Nigeria troops. “The gallant Nigerians soldiers were attacked from the rear by the militants but the military men engaged them in fierce battle over five hours “.

. The fact remains, west Africa has taken the decision that your military is too weak to protect the lives of citizens and, however, they saw the need of joining hands to help their feeble brother.
It is a fact that terrorism in Nigeria will not be defeated by Nigeria but its neighbours. The likes of the most toughest Cameroon and Ghana, not those who are only known to take take to their heels when the shiitt hit the fan.
Let the glory go to west African forces. |

NIGERIAN MILITARY IS INCAPABLE AND THATS FINAL!!!!!!

GreenandGold: Training (like the one the SANDF gets) is sufficient to cover up for experience. 90% of the US soldiers that fought in the Gulf War had no experience while Iraq had all her troops experienced in the Iraq/Iran war. We all know how it turned out, experience didn't count for much when properly trained US Forces came bones-crashing the Iraqis. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT A BULLET FIRED BY AN INEXPERIENCE SOLDIER IS JUST AS FATAL AS THAT OF AN EXPERIENCED SOLDIER. |

lezz: i understand that in the 80s and late 70s that marked the desire of the soviet union to extend its ideology to africa by military and economic means, several african countries where target of which southafrica and nigeria and to a lesser extent ethiopia where the main juice. Southafrica then was still an apatheid country and in all honesty was a mere extension of anglo-dutch europe. Southafrica developed her military and hardware companies were heavily budgeted and they came up with many advanced weaponry. Still Her army has no experience in warfare . The Southafrica that was birthed in 1994, that reflects the southafrican army today, though still seen across the world as a quasi europe extension, do not have soldiering experience. Her military might be sophisticated but her soldiers still lacking real battle experience. This was proved in Mali or an east African country. agaugust: NOPE, YOU PROVE YOUR CLAIMS WITH HISTORICAL FACTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cuba almost defeated South Africa and you ran to UN for mediation and peace negotiations to settle the war on a round table talk party.
Korea, South Africa only fought visibly in the air with American donated warplanes and 70% of them were sh.ot down by North Korea, SADF wasted almost all the fighter planes America gave you.
Soviet Bloc countries? When did South Africa fight USSR? The fact that your country still exists today proves you never challenged Soviet Union.
Angola-Mozambique, the armies of MPLA and FRELIMO you fought against are now ruling those countries because SADF failed to crush them, so South Africa lost as usual.
Your list surprisingly avoids C.A.R Seleka rebels, you swept that under the carpet because you don't want this forum to humiliate South African army again for your loss to illiterate farmer and teenage rebels who now use captured South African equipment as their own without paying you for transfer of ownership because SANDF ran away in broad daylight.
The whole history of South African military has ZERO record of victory, it's all stalemate or defeat....and you do NOT qualify to judge Nigerian army or even that of Kenya.
. State it correctly. Cuba, Russia, ANC (MK), APLA, Angola and others almost defeated SA. Don't ever even mention Bangui battle, because that was not even a war. It involved only 200 SA soldiers and only lasted few hours and not even days. SA can destroy the whole of CAR in just few hours, that you know. CAR or Seleka does not have the kind of firepower we have. We will defeat CAR without any hussle. |
