decode55:Just mad cos Nigerians can like to lie and form. He wrote all that epistle just to let us know he has an iPhone and he doesn't flaunt it. Guess what? He just did. That is if he's not even lying sef ![]() |
decode55: The same people condemning the guy that was doing showoff and the ones doing it on here too. If he indeed has two, he will not come on here and be saying it. Liar oshi. Two iPhones Lol. |
Filashade:Mashed up? Please stop lying! Argh! |
jackyraw09:And the moral of this story is? Yes, we've seen you. Yes, you have an iPhone 6. Yes, you're no better than the guy this thread is all about. SMH |
YerYer:Yes, I have seen cases like that. They might not wanna pay the early termination fees and just sell off the phone and move to another carrier. Also, it might be a case of a stolen phone. Trust me, people do steal phones and sell it off on Ebay, cos anybody can just get an Ebay account and list their goods for sale on there. Just look for a phone that has been unlocked for international use and make sure its not CDMA only. It has to be either CDMA and GSM or GSM. Almost all (I dont have the actual figures) Verizon phones are CDMA but I've bought some for family and some are GSM enabled. CDMA phones are those phones without SIM cards and they are useless in Nigeria. Sprint, Verizon and US Cellular are those that are CDMA carriers. |
Sunofgod:Racist on top say dem bring news wey concern Igbos come front page? SMH if it's a Yoruba guy who was named, your people with have already started the chants of "Southwest", and calling all Yorubas all manner of unprintable names even cursing out our fathers and mothers. How many times have threads concerning Yorubas doing bad things hit the front page? Uncountable. Do you hear any Yorubas come on that thread and cry racism? No. We do not hide behind one finger and try to act like those disgraceful acts never happened. Never be biased and say the truth as it is.... But what am I even saying? Playing victim is y'alls best skills. I am not tribalistic but I just hate when people do not call a spade a spade and try to act like they are the victims while they are also guilty of the same crime. |
YerYer:No. Verizon phones are locked. Most phones in the US is locked (If you buy it from the network provider). It can only be unlocked if the owner has paid off their contract with the network provider (which in this case is Verizon), then request for an unlock code. You can then unlock it. I have heard cases of iPhones being on the StraighTalk newtork (StraightTalk rides on AT&T network being unlocked for international use and my friend testified to it. She used her StraightTalk iPhone 5s in Nigeria last year without having to unlock it. Either way, talk to the seller and ask them if the phone is unlocked for international use. |
What?? Anyways, no need to cry. Maybe she dodged a bullet. She should even be great fun she didn't get hitched to him.... That kind of person can even murder her in her sleep. What goes around comes around: The ultimate law of karma. |
kobe79: And then you woke up! ![]() |
kobe79:I think you should go and learn how to write like you're learned first (I can barely understand the gibberish you typed), then maybe we can talk. Bye. |
DICKtator:Thank you. His post reeks of lack of comprehension. I paid for the plane ride and I might as well do what I like. |
Antoinne:Stop exposing yourself. Why would I be scared of being called aside and questioned by security if I am not scared and have nothing to hide? Security calls me aside, asks me questions or at worst tells me to open my bag. I do, he/she does the necessary checks or asks a few questions and he/she sends me on my way. Is that rocket science? Why should I be scared of getting checked by the security in the first place when I'm not illegal, a fugitive or trafficking drugs? Lmao. I guess that is the small price I have to pay for carrying my food. While I was also at it, I never pretended to be what I was not, neither did try to be more American than the Americans. Unlike you. I am Nigerian and I will damn right do what is comfortable to me. FYI: I have been called to secondary check on an international route before and I gladly went. I know I had nothing to hide and at most they just wanted to ask questions. Which btw, will be asked with utmost respect. And did you read the part when I said we informed the guys at security that we had cooked food and they let us through? You,re not so bright, are you? You are trying way too hard, sweetheart. On so many levels. And guess what? EPIC FAIL. Can't fool me or anybody else for the records. |
manny4life:Mgbeke feeling funky ![]() |
Antoinne, Please stop making a fool of yourself by trying so hard to be a definition of your own version of "cultured". People take food out of airplanes, no biggie. Personally, I won't because I haven't been on an airline that serves Nigerian food and I am not a fan of western food. But I will damn right takes snacks (Pretzels, Almonds, Pistasios) out of a plane. And FYI: lots of white people do too! Or are they not the definition of cultured to you? People like you are the ones who worship anything western forgetting they're are the nastiest of nasty. Trying to act more western than the westerners. Boo! I paid for it and imma take it out. And did I hear you say international flights or even airlines don't allow you take food past security? We have taken Jollof Rice past security before and we even told them we had cooked food. So far it isn't liquid, you're good. Overall, you're plenty shades of ignorant and uncultured. And should I add that you sound exactly like a wannabe who just started flying on airplanes with little or no exposure. You're trying too hard Hun, bring it down a notch and maybe...just maybe it wouldn't look so much like a struggle. Laters |
Moana:Lol. She was being sarcastic. |
Onegai:The one championing the United domestic airline is the most unsophisticated thing ever... Very unrefined! Having the gall to come on here and be give the illusion of being cultured and sophisticated is just hilarious. Plain comedy. United Airlines and Sophistication in the same sentence? Ha! |
University of Houston. The admission requirements are a killer but if you can get in, and keep your grades high, getting a job is half solved. Houston is the Oil Capital of North America (Literally, Lol). Lots of multinational oil companies have their headquarters or a huge operating office in Houston... (ConocoPhilips, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Chevron, Marathon Oil, Phillips 66, Shell, PXP now Freeport McMoran, Schlumberger, BHP Billiton, Occidental Petroleum (Oxy)... to name a few). Many of them come to UH campus to recruit for full time positions or for internship positions which might eventually lead to full time. Just my opinion though. |
MuguliciousMUGU:You're indeed a MUGU. This thing that you typed, ruminate it in your head and ask yourself if it makes sense? If he gave them the food, you'll complain of wastage and reckless spending. If he does not, you will say he's deceiving the populace. So because he is a public servant and he stopped public feeding of people during Ramadan and Christmas, he should not feed his daughter? Why do I even bother educating you? Your name describes you to a T, you're a MUGU. |
Fairgodwin:Smh. Learn to appreciate. You are the same people that will complain about the tolls. They remove it, you still won't appreciate. Nigerians are one heck of a people. Never satisfied, never appreciative |
His wife dey try. Always brewing trouble and throwing tantrums like a 5 year old kid. How does a grown man behave like that? ![]() |
@adanna_david papa. Lol ![]() |
sylarsquins:You're getting it twisted. I don't live in the UK. I live in the U.S. And I was calling him out on his U.S lies not the UK. That's none of my business. Learn to comprehend please. Thanks |
sylarsquins:Yes. A person who is a PhD candidate would not write like that. Besides he's lying about getting a work visa. Which kind of work visa did he get in 3 months? While still on student visa? I'd like to know. |
penn2:With your English? Masters and subsequently PhD? I seriously doubt that. And please do tell me the one of work visa you got after 3 months in the U.S. Liar. |
TKO. QED. Tyson Vs Holyfield ![]() |
starlingslimnet:A simple google search will do. I was taught "More grease to your elbow in Primary and Secondary school" and I also know your "More Power" is also correct. Nuff said....
|
starlingslimnet:But it's correct isn't it? |
starlingslimnet:Why? |
skedemi:Lmao. Not at all. You'll be fine driving that route with a clear head and clear eyes. And even if you lose your way and take the wrong exit, the GPS will always re-route you. Its so easy. One thing I like about America is that there are several ways to get to your destination. All roads lead to different places and you can take like 10 different routes and still get to the same place, just might take longer. Unlike my dear Nigeria. |
francizy:Yes. There are informations but its mainly exit signs and maybe a few road markers and those green boards that tell you where you're headed. GPS is your best bet. But if you use faulty GPS, sorry is your case. You go perambulate tire ![]() |
Sile12:Yeah. Cos the speed of travel on those things are scary. One mistake and your car can be totaled. Not to talk of serious injury. But it's always nice to drive on those things. No stop signs, No tolls, No lights. Just be speeding and pretending you're on grand theft auto. ![]() |
Ishilove:Lmao. People will get lost oo. Or else they use GPS sha oo. Cos once you miss you exit ehn, you fit dey drive like 10miles before you see where you go make a detour. Maybe I'm exaggerating sha ![]() |

whereas the OP and some posters (one is even championing United domestic, the US' s most irritating airline ever!) are more sophisticated than the rest of us humble folk.
