TravelRe: Why A Nigerian Was Denied Schengen Visa (Refusal Letter) by MT: 5:38pm On Jul 30, 2023
1stGenAmerican:
Not true. They advise citizens of their country not to travel and let them know that if they still decide to go, the government may not be able to get them out. They do not warn Nigerians about the dangers in their own country and don’t grant asylum to people who leave a dangerous situation but don’t want to go back to the same dangerous situation. This doesn’t qualify them for asylum.
You have turned the discourse upside down.

It is your country that will advise you about other people's country situation.

Then, if you can claim that your life will NOT be safe if you are sent back to your country, which they themselves have adjudged to be dangerous (as level 3 or 4), that asylum request will be granted. That is the purpose of an asylum.

aylipple:
Lol. That's just the summary of the entire rejection letter.
They were politely telling the applicant they didn't consider them established enough in Nigeria to grant them a Visa.
No.

Even if they confirm you are qualified, that visa might not be issued. Ask me why?

Go and read travel advisories of all the western Nations. It is either level 3 or level 4. Level 3 advises their citizens to only travel to Nigeria on ESSENTIAL travel while level 4 states that their citizens SHOULD NOT TRAVEL to Nigeria

This means that if you get to your destination country, despite having ties in Nigeria, you can apply for asylum and it will be valid since they know the danger in going back to Nigeria. No Nigerians have control over that in as much as we continue killing, kidnapping etc.

Western nations do not want unnecessary bagggages as they are facing their own economic downturn.

When Swedish wants to visit Nigeria, they do not need to come to Nigeria consulate with loads of documents to convince them.

Nigerians are now going to prayer mountains and some prophets and Imams are cashing out on desperate Nigerians. Even, I have heard "visa anointing" being announced on the air wave by our so- called pastors before.

1. What you are saying is that sometimes it is OK to be a deadbeat dad to your own children from your own loins? lipsrsealed

2. Again, you repeat thar sometimes it is OK for a man to be a deadbeat father? undecided

3. Yet again, you insist that it is sometimes OK for a man to be a deadbeat [/b]to his own DNA. lipsrsealed
I apologise i broke my own rules of not responding again.

You can not call a father a "deadbeat" when he provides for the child, and her welfare. Send the daughter to a good school
.

Choosing to dispense with his property does not make any dad to be a deadbeat. The father might choose to will his property as he chooses.

@Kobojunkie your english as regards to "deadbeat" seems to falter. Deadbeat means when you neglect your own responsibilities. A will is the prerogative of the owner. It has nothing to do with the children. Goodnight

Kobojunkie:
You are repeating yourself. You are saying that then the man's treatment of his own DNA should depend on the actions of the mother of the child. undecided

2. Your continued insistence on the man treating his own DNA as though some pawn in a fight with his ex leaves me speechless. undecided
I was not repeating myself. I was correcting your interpretation of what I earlier wrote.

Everyone cannot be you. Every human has different ways he reacts to situations. And I have seen a situation where the man dis-inherited the kids of his 2nd wife as a result of the action of their mum.

Humans are not robots. Different men react differently to issue. If the man senses the sidechic is doing all this as a result of the property she is planning to inherit through her daughter, he might dis-inherit the daughter. It is a legal option available to him as well. Just telling you there are many options available to Mr Ayeni as well.

What matters is for a man to treat his kids well and give them good education, inheritance is a sole prerogative of the owner. It is not a must to give one property to his or her children.

I am out of here as I cant be going round in circle.
FamilyRe: My Husband’s “runs Girl” Used Juju On Him; Wife Of Defunct Skye Bank Chairman by MT: 1:47am On Jul 30, 2023
Kobojunkie:
So what you are suggesting is that the man abandon his own child and DNA in order to spite the child's mother. That's your solution? undecided
You still dont get it.

If they do the DNA and it is confirmed that the child belongs to the man. The man will definitely take care of the daughter but that doesnt not mean he doesnt have other options depending on how the side chic behaves.

He has the right over his property, He might choose not to will anything to the daughter. It is his property and no law can force him to do it.

Side chic needs to tread with care otherwise her daughter will lose all through her action.

We have seen it play out many times
FamilyRe: My Husband’s “runs Girl” Used Juju On Him; Wife Of Defunct Skye Bank Chairman by MT: 1:42am On Jul 30, 2023
Kobojunkie:
A legal will? How can it correct the fact of the child being the man's DNA in that case? undecided
The man has control over his will.

The fight and claims are all about the man's property.

The man has liberty to share his will as he pleases. If the side chic is not careful, she will lose out. The man might not give her daughter any property and heaven will not fall.

🗑️

Itotally get your point.... But do you know ada is got more juice and class compared to Mrs ayeni who is dying to defend her so-called marriage..

She feels at the end she got lot to lose...

Again idont believe in hexing a man just to have him for yourself..

Men are actually cheap and easy to get(discussion for another day)
A legal will can correct the mistake the man has made even if the daughter is confirmed as his kid.

If you say everything I asked was addressed, why then do I need to read between the lines?

1. Do you actually think Tinubu is splitting ministries because of oronsaye report?

2. Have those ministries not been split before?

3. Will another round of resplitting not further increase the cost of governance when they claim that there is no money?
When someone says "read between the lines" - it is a subtle way of saying you have "comprehension" issue.

I assume you are not a baby. I dont need to spell it out one by one for you. Everything you asked, I have responded to, you only need to extract them out.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: The Tech Craze: A Bubble, Not A Solution For Unemployment In Nigeria. by MT: 2:37pm On Jul 29, 2023
Like everything in life, there is always the peak period. Tech is not exempted.

However, the issue in Nigeria is most people go into tech without understanding the fundamentals. They don't know why we use what. They just use it. When the bubble crashes down, they will be the first to be swept off. It also makes them limited in their thought.

Tech is not easy. It is hard. It keeps changing and evolving. Only those who understand the basic will last.

If we'll deployed, tech will create lot of digital jobs that will solve greater percentage of our employment.

you actually think Tinubu is splitting ministries because of oronsaye report?

Have those ministries not been split before?

Will another round of resplitting not further increase the cost of governance when they claim that there is no money?
Each administration has different directions it wants to go, hence different policies.

Tinubu has taken a bold and decisive strategic steps lacking in previous administrations as observed in some of his policies.

He needs to make readjustment that will drive efficiency. Your understanding of reduction in the cost of governance is flawed. You don't want new things introduced at all even if it will be effective and efficient.

You don't even know the thinking behind the policies formulation, you can only guess.

Be positive in your thought and watch how it plays out.

BusinessRe: How Do People Get Rich In Nigeria? by MT: 4:11pm On Jul 27, 2023
HugeElephant:
Sincere Question, "how do prople get rich?".
I want to base the question on Nigeria alone.
How do Nigerians get rich ?

I look around and all i see is just salary earners, youth into poultry farming, fisheries,
POS stand, hairdressers, carpenters, Gambling and bet, modernized TAXI drivers making use of some apps, clothe sellers and many more?
Basically, many are not even living an average life. We are living below the average.

I have been wondering, how can i escape from this "below average life" or "average life"?
i look around me and watch the TV. On the media and in songs, you hear different adoration of some Nigerians who had achieved the wealth threshold. How did they do it? i am sorry if i sound crazy!

For some of these rich people, you wonder, how was the struggle?
How were they able to build their friendship base. How were they able to survive the government's myriad taxation.
may bodies under the state government will charge you, my bodies under the federal government will charge you too.
if taxation doesn't kill your business, you go dey pray make thieves no ruin your business.

i would have asked, How do people get rich around the world, but the world is too large and answers i might get may not be applicable to the society i currently live in.
big respect to everyone that has been able to achieve wealth...
You need to learn that success is gradual. Do not be in a rush. Learn a skill that naturally interests you. Do not go into any career as a result of likely salary you will earn from it, go into into because you want to understand the rudiments, and create solution out of it.

Try to be an expert in this skill and launch out. You will see how your fortune will turn around. Learn to premise everything on God's factor. It is well with you.
