ManirBK:ASUU wants Tinubu to go against the law which states no work no pay. All these unions will get sense by fire by force. |
abc115:Tinubu will teach these unions senses that have been lacking. See the way he quietly played the cards and nullified all their threats. They should have gone on strike and risk being jailed. |

Iyabo Ojo is gradually warming up to meet Baba Ijesha for Kirikiri. They will act "Prison break for Kirikiri". Omo, we all know how the film go end. Baba Ijesha will literarily snuff life out of Iyabo Ojo for sending him to Kirikiri ![]() Nigeria is getting exciting |
Ofunaofu:How did all these individuals become Union Leaders. TUC should bankrupt the economy na |
ThompsonJoo:See finishing. Tinubu will teach all the useless union sense. Economic saboteurs parading themselves as fighting for the masses. |
Tourist123:Just the same way you are surviving where you came from. How much does a 35mins drive cost in the States? We are not beggars, and the people have been surviving without you around. Leave today and you wont be missed. I hate all these threads where people turn abroad to an earthly paradise. Crawl back into the cave you came from. Lot of people are working here modestly and far better than you. Dont be delusioned! |
As a country, what do we really want? To maintain the status quo and the suffering to continue or to change trajectory for a temporary pain that will usher in a huge relief. NLC should be spearheading efforts to ensure cost of governance reduces. There is no need for Governors to be going around with over 30 cars for functions. Spending should be monitored. NLC should be monitoring how money that is freed is being spent. Transparency should be the key now. I suspect people making biliions out of this subsidy are using the unions to fight the Government. We will see how this will end. |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Don't usurp the power of the Judiciary. Allow the Judiciary to interprete the law to us. Let the judges confirm why Abuja is so special that you must get 25% before you could be the president. Grab your popcorn and be watching. |
senatordave1:This is a comedy on the scale Nigeria has never witnessed before. Obi was not voted for in the North. He came overall and distant 3rd. Yet he wanted to be sworn in as President. World Guinness Book ought to acknowledge this as the greatest joke the world has ever seen. I feel sorry for him because he has eroded the little goodwill he had among Nigerians. Instead for him to be building bridges with other tribes, he is wasting time and energy in court. You see why other tribes will not vote and not trust a certain tribe in power. |
lhordspy:Do you understand the rule more than the referee and the sport commentators? Just asking |
lhordspy:That can NEVER be a penalty in a trillion years. It was a clear case of ball to hand. The speed at which the ball was travelling, no way for the defender to do anything about it. Even the commentators said no way that would be a penalty. |
ogbiwa:About to sign for Lobi Stars ![]() |
MrAmbrose:....and parents! |
FreeStuffsNG:It was a big shame on WAEC. The integrity of that exam is gone. The whole Nigeria will suffer the consequence. These are the same students that will go on to turn quack professional; they will cheat their ways through universities. For instance, as a supposedly Engineer, they will build bridges and the bridges will collapse. Sad to know parents are involved too to buy questions for their wards. That your nephew with 7 distinctions, whom you have given a gift as a reward, might have cheated his way through as well. Shame! |
nairalanda1:You have turned economy and governance on its head. If he diversifies the economy, will you see the gain tomm. In the short term, he is freeing up lot of resources in USD and discouraging importation in order to have lot of money to immediately defend the naira and build up infrastructure. If some of you are made the President, you will turn Nigeria to Somalia within 48 hours with your comical policies. |
chidiokay:Thread like this makes Yorubas to be greatful to Pa Obafemi Awolowo for the quality of education he made available to us in the SW. |
Sermwell:You will suffer too because you will go to market to buy items. You will attempt to build house. You will do other stuffs dependent on others. There will be a painful chain reaction. Dont be myopic |
Fiyin007:Thank you, I didnt know the money is remitted to NNPC. I thought it would be remitted to a dedicated FG account. So, what people at NNPC do right now is just to market and sell our crude oil. Yet they keep recruiting secretly into this moribund NNPC. |
Antimandatethie:How was NNPC able to raise money to pay for subsidy when refineries are not working?. I will appreciate anyone to educate me on where NNPC raised the 2.8Trillion naira over 2 years without doing any operation |
Nigerians are mostly unpatriotic. Think of what you can do for your country before what your country can do for you. Tinubu needs to show strength by seizing the licenses of these depots and filling stations sabotaging the economy. Scapegoat a few, others will align. |
onuman:It is the role of the judiciary to interprete the law. Obi is in court. Stop usurping the role of our judges. |
onuman:Your own celebration shall be short lived all round. Stop being bitter. Tinubu will rule you for 8 years, God's willings. You cant win in the court. You are wasting time and money. |
He promised that: 1. There will be a unified exchange rate system 2. He promised that the current interest rate is anti people and anti business. That he will work on the interest rate to bring it down. |
Can we analyse and discuss the key takeaways from Tinubu's speech |
BrokenCondom:This has always been the trend. The bitter opposition always conspire to fund terrorist that will distract the current administration. These terrorists are always emanating among the tribe the President comes from. It has always been trend. Obasanjo had Gani Adams to deal with. Jonathan has Niger Delta militant to deal with. Buhari had fulanis to deal with. Tinubu - we are yet to know. Our security operatives are implored to be on the look out and stay alert. |
onuman:We are celebrating. Take your epistle to the court. Obi or Atiku needs it. |
God bless the outgoing president , Muhamnadu Buhari. May God guide the incoming president, Ahmed Tinubu. May God restores this country to her rightful place May we all be blessed under this new dispensation. Congratulations to all Nigerians. |
My issue is most people that travel abroad for schooling are not interested in learning. So if they come back, they are actually adding no value. That's our sad reality. |
Shattuck:We do not know. We cannot say but let us be cheerfully optimistic, and play our own roles as citizens. |
God should restore this Nation to his rightful place among the comity of Nations. It is unacceptable for us to be living like paupers in the midst of ample resources. It is unthinkable for us to be bothered about UK immigration policy. It is cruel for us to get to western nations before we realise it is possible to enjoy 24 hour power supply. It is demeaning for us not to be able to access quality health care. We all need to support this new govt to achieve. |
morikee:How do you claim to love what you have not experienced ?. |
