we already know. even female politicians are the worst. their first casualty is their husband, then the masses. Finally Nigerians deserve the kind of politicians they get.
If majority of Nigerians are good people devoid of selfishness and sentiments, then majority of politicians will also be good people
Ironically you're right. As a husband, if your wife ventures into politics you will be the numero uno casualty. From going to attend all-night "political" meetings to being intoxicated with ill-gotten money and outright rascality, your wife will show you pepper wella.

chicoMX:
There's nothing wrong with these loan apps..

Besides issues like delay in confirming your repayment and all, I don't see anything. They usually give deadline, sometimes they will call to remind you.

Anyone who takes loan and fails to repay as at when due , should be seriously dealt with according to the terms and conditions of the loan.
My thought was, you wanted to say "ruthlessly dealt with". Lol!
Education › Re: Court Remands UNILORIN Student Who Assaulted Female Lecturer by mu2sa2:
9jaBloke:
Attempted murder
What he did was legally and morally wrong based on media reports. But, even on the reports, the evidence does not suggest a case of attempted murder. The suspect was alleged to have punched and kicked the lecturer and she suffered little or no injuries. He's not reported to have used broken glass or other objects. Based on the reports, he should be charged for assault and malicious damage to property. Let's not forget though that lawyers (including "charge & bail" ones) are waiting to be engaged by the suspect and during trial the story can change, even to the extent that the lecturer may look like she should be the one that ought to be arraigned and not the student.
Politics › Re: CAN: US Erred In Delisting Nigeria From Religious Freedom Blacklist by mu2sa2: 5:18am On Nov 21, 2021
97loodbre:
Let's be realistic and shun emotional sentiments.... There are hundreds of very big churches and cathedrals in Kano, Sokoto, Katsina, Jigawa, Kaduna, Zamfara and even Maiduguri. These are core muslim states in Nigeria. How many such big mosques or Islamic centres can you count or find in the south-south or South-Easthuh It's very unfortunate that some misguided elements and agents of the devil in the North such as Bokoharam and ISWAP are busy killing innocent christians, but they kill innocent muslims too. Thousands of muslims have been killed in the North by these agents of the devil, so I don't see why any right thinking person will generalize it and term Nigeria a christian persecuting country. It is just so nunfortunate the level of religious intolerance and misinformation some christian leaders chun out to their followers. May Nigeria succeed.

May God continue to bless our dear native land of Nigeria and shame her detractors.
Politics › Re: CAN: US Erred In Delisting Nigeria From Religious Freedom Blacklist by mu2sa2:
Mumu people of nigeria, always clueless, will waste their time criticising US because of this. The nincompoops don't know that US takes decisions based on strategic interests. The US government has set out to re-establish economic partnership with Africa and this goal is a strategic national interest for America. The ubiquitous self-appointed prophets in CAN may cry themselves out but US sees Nigeria as a strategic partner and will continue to strengthen economic, political and military ties with our dear native land.

Well, Chinese are one billion, as are Indians.

Chinese also have millions of people in the diaspora...as do the indians

So they would most likely have more people who make it than Nigeria does, with our 200 million people.

It doesn't mean they are better than us, it is just a numbers thing.
Good thinking.

So where did the bullet shells come from? Who else would have had the temerity to hold guns in a protest where the police and army were there? The bullet shells fell from the skies I assume. The way people try to insult the intelligence of others is really irritating! Even video evidences showed live ammunition shots emanating from the military.
The army says they used blank, not live, bullets which is consistent with the ballisticians report. Go and look at the video clips again, you'll see only flashes coming out of the nozzles of the rifles as the soldiers fired into the air, not at the protesters. Thank God the ballistic expert is not a Nigerian, so nobody will make the usual allegation that he was compromised. If soldiers had used live ammunition hundreds upon hundreds would have died.

That list not just full of typo, it also contains unsubstantial claims.
Absolutely! The british ballistic expert's evidence comes to mind. He's reported to have stated to the tribunal that he was 99% sure, after his analysis, that the bullet shells didn't come/match the rifles used by the army. Although the tribunal's conclusions are not final, but subject to government's acceptance (to be published as white paper), some people have already drawn their own conclusions based on the tribunal's questionable decision.

Betting is like addiction - just don't go into it otherwise you may never be able to get out. From starting with as little as N100 you gradually get addicted and end up spending everything you have on it - and losing all of it.
