Congratulations!
Have you boom your flight? I could use your help if you have booked. I'm seeing outrageous prices online...maybe am not looking at the right place.

You can book and get a student discount at turkish airlines office @adeola odeku street V. I Lagos if u live in lag. Or call their office on a number which someone posted here some few pages back. I booked in lag for about 177k to hannover

Guys!

Never u put a foodstuff in your hand luggage, it caused kasala for me.
Anything that smells should also not be in your hand luggage.
Arrange someone in your city to pick you up from the airport especially if u are a first traveler with zero German language skills.
Language is really important, I have been hit by it on a number of occasions, the worst was when my guy called a taxi for me and the man didn't recognize my exact destination.
He kept talking to me in the car and I was just looking at him like a slowpoke, it really got to him, he had to come down to get clarity from people on the road.
Germany is quite safe and lively even at night, don't feel insecured based on our Nija orientation, was a little bit tensed when I was still lost outside by almost 11pm.
U will notice a whole lot of new culture here, true love really exist here. Everyone shows affection indiscriminately in the public, same with gays (my first time seeing gay affection, God help us)
The connecting flight at Istanbul is usually a hectic one, don't dull
Some Nigerians u will find here will be altruistic to u while many others will just be indifferent. So drop any entitlement mentality at Naija, no one owes u anything here, if u get helped, show gratitude.
Even some locals would want to help u if d understand ur problem, especially for the student side.
Lufthansa and Ethiopian airlines also fly from PHC airport.
I will advise ur hand luggage should be mostly clothes etc because a lot of things would be collected from you as prohibited items.
Be confident in your approach, we were only two blacks from IST to Ber. no sleep on a bicycle.
This is really a place to be but for the language and is surmountable.
God bless our helpful guys.

Will always update my experience here.
Shalom!

Best of luck to Summer hopefuls!

Wow congrats men and thank God for a safe trip. Did you guyz spend much time on your transit in Istanbul?

AM Alert!!!!!

After 13weeks 1day
=92days
My God finally done it.

My Journey started last year in April when I applied to TU Darmstadt - TropHEE
when i got my admission in june, my admission letter was not uploaded and so it took another 3weeks before it was uploaded
By the time i sent mail to the German Consulate for visa appointment, I got no response from the embassy, so I missed winter semester 2018.
I communicated with the school and explained my predicament. The coordinator asked me to reapply by october 1 2018.
I applied on October 2 2018 and by Feb 2019, I got my first admission for 2019.
During this period i applied to other universities

University of Bayreuth - Environmental Chemistry - Rejected
University of Bremen - Marine Geosciences - Admitted
TU Darmstadt - TropHEE - Admitted
TU Freiberg - Applied Geosciences - Admitted
RWTH Aachen University - Admitted.

Glory to God!!!!

I finally got visa appointment in march 2019 and my Appointment date was May 6
On the day of the interview, it went smoothly, during the interview, we joked, laughed and it ended within 15mins.
I funded before my interview

i waited......and waited.....after 6weeks I sent 1st mail to alien office, they replied that they didn't have my information.
I sent mail to Lagos consulate - No reply

I waited till 10 weeks sent other mails and still didnt get any ys - 13weeks, 1day,- my AM dropped.

Congratulations my man... The Lord is your strength, success is your name

Good morning Guyz........Happy New Month....Our Month of Testimonies......I have a pertinent question.......Fintiba gave a Notice that the BA should be Transfered once to your Fintiba Account........but a notice was also given that if the BA Transfer is made more than once then you need to provide a proof for source funds or have the money rejected.....My Brother in Germany wants to fund my BA but he can't transfer the money once to Fintiba(because of his daily transfer limit).........I need Solutions on how to go about this Fintiba issue.....what should he do now?? How does one provide proof for such funds?I will appreciate you guyz Candid response......Thanks

This is a new regulation from fintiba. I had same issues /response from them when I made my first transfer of about 5000euros from first bank, but I was later told to ensure I make the transfer in not more than three transactions else I may be required to provide proof of sources of funds. So I sharpadly transferred the remaining 3829 in the next transfer and got my blocking confirmation. I will advice that if there is a way ur bro can do it in 3 transactions, he should go ahead or better still get the money across to you so you can initiate the transfer once from here.

Those who have two(2) AD scheduled on 12th August(Public holiday) and 13th August(Public holiday) identify yourself lets have a meeting. it is really confusing having two(2) Appointment date on Public holidays

Please you don't need to hold any meeting, Embassies rarely observe full scale no work public holidays. If it's a Christian public holiday for instance, Christians working at the embassy still go to work but do close earlier. They know what they are doing by giving you an appointment on these dates, prepare for your interview... You will be fine

Good evening landers ,I made a mistake by uploading non certified copies when applying for Ruhr university Bochum,my status is showing processing ,those that applied which one did you upload.

Ruhr university Bochum does not require you to upload certified copies of your documents just upload your original scanned color docs as it is, at least for the course I got admitted to(MSS) I didn't upload certified copies.
