KanwuliaExtra: How many such cases have ben overturned on such premises? Please, be serious.
I wouldn't know, but since you believe his misdeed was caused by DEMON POSSESSION, you can get all the information online or from attorneys that don't use the constitution of the land to argue at the court.
My point is he was found guilty with solid evidence and he was convicted for that. Also, that guy seem to be criminal-minded with all his footprints littered online. He might be a product of dysfunctional family and society, which I can agree with, but that still holds no water when one commits crimes. Do the crime and do the time.
KanwuliaExtra: He is not there yet. He is still battling inner-demons. Only family member can give us another view to his childhood and upbringing.
He has been guilty for over 3 years from a JURY of 12. What else do you want to tell the world? You are only re-stating the obvious. No argument there. He will lose ALL appeals. I will not waste my time restating the obvious. I spend way to much time on ID channel and watching 'stories that touch' on forensic science to get any form of emotional hard-on from such verdicts. Especially when IRON-CLAD FACTS have been presented.
Looking for new angles to discuss. . . .
He's not battling any demon. I knew this conversation would tilt this way and I strongly don't believe in any of such. I hate when people tend to bring out excuse or justify bad behaviors.
KanwuliaExtra: True. If you don't know his story. . . . and the whole story. . . .you cannot judge him either. How many Nigerians live communal lives? Even when the wealthy send their children abroad to study and raise themselves? Or is it the ones that live in abject poverty?
It is easy to say . . . . . but I can't question your beliefs.
Many Nigerians live a communal life and not only the ones living in abject poverty.
KanwuliaExtra: Simplistic. Not in our powers sometimes. Sometimes, life can throw you a 'satanic curve ball'. Dealing with your pain and dysfunction is only by the grace of higher powers. Which it the only salvation for A. O. B. He can't do it alone.
The more you're bringing spirituality and demon into our conversation, the less I have interest in it. I would appreciate it if we could have a discourse based on the reality of things and not spirituality, grace, salvation or whatever.
KanwuliaExtra: No, but the have a FAMILIAL OBLIGATION to come and claim their misfit which they partially-created and brought into this world! A.O.B. . . may not have all the answers. He may be repeating THE CYCLE OF ABUSE he was exposed to. You think only girls get raped? Let me share this.
Nobody have a familial obligation towards someone that might have been a nuisance right for younger days. Well, I wouldn't know why they didn't and haven't come out to the public, but for nobody to even come out says a lot about the convict, especially we Africans that live a communal life.
KanwuliaExtra: Fine. All I am stating is that, he needs some kind of family connection at this time. . . . Very important in a self-cleansing journey. When the going was ever-so-good. . . .they enjoyed the wealth abi?
My closing prayers: May I NEVER be abandoned by my family in my lowest points in life and VICE VERSA. . . AMEN.
It's not a matter of prayer. It's a matter of you doing the right thing at the right time so as to be rewarded when the time comes.
Last week, a lady made a comment about how his father abandoned her, her siblings and her mother at their lowest while the man was busy philandering. Now, the man is weak and sick but need financial support from the lady. The lady decided not to help him and I see nothing wrong in it.
So many men will go out to spend on other women meanwhile the kids and wife are starving at home. When such man have health challenges, him, his family and the society will want and expect the neglected wife and kids to care for him. That's wrong, hypocritical and wicked!
KanwuliaExtra: Ok. I misunderstand. Let me restate my point too. The word campaign is misleading to me.
This thread started as A CAMPAIGN DRIVE. . . which people mistook for a 'support' for a rapist. WRONG!
The family speaking on the incident does not constitute a campaign on only level. If at all, it should be on the level of apologizing or supporting the victim and her family. Why must every interaction be termed under a 'campaign'?
You can come out and relate with the incident and perhaps we can get an incite on this psyche of the perpetrator. It would give some humanity to his existence. Simple!
Yes, it would be a good thing if his family could come out to show support for the victim and apologize for the misdeed of the convict, but they hold no legal obligation to do so. Only Bah have the answers to why he had nobody come out.
KanwuliaExtra: Life does not work like that. You can't drag someone's child out in public by defiling her and then protect yours. No one cares really. But what are they being protected from? Reality? The sooner they learn to live it, the better. Early therapy is a good thing.
That shouldn't be anybody's concern. They were/are not in the spotlight and nobody can drag them into it legally. Leave it at that.
Whatever happens in the future after they become aware of their father's past shouldn't be anyone's concern. It's theirs to deal with.
They should not be protected. . . the victim's and her family were not.
The kids were never in the spotlight because the guy never put them online before the crime was committed. You shouldn't drag them into it. Their father committed the crime, not them.
The victim and her family were in the spotlight because there was no other way around it. I mean, you can't be in a victim's position and be in hiding or under the radar. You need to be on the forefront to fight for justice, supported by your family and friends.
KanwuliaExtra: My question to you was. . . .who is campaigning for a sex offender/fraudster or criminal on or off this thread? I can only think within the context of this thread because MANY HAVE EXPRESSED SUCH SENTIMENTS HERE.
What do you mean by 'campaign'? To me, it means 'support'. Ok what kind of support?
This is simple, you asked about his family, origin, kids and all. So, I responded by telling you that nobody (I mean, family, wife, kids, relatives, friends) will be ready or willing to campaign for someone like him, most especially a big case like that. I have no business with anyone on this thread supporting or not supporting him.
If you read my comments from the beginning of our engagement, you will understand but it seems you couldn't do that. Kindly do so.
KanwuliaExtra: Only with Africans. If it were foreign countries. . . . . the family members will be granting interviews to explain how he fell off the psycho-social wagon of life. Even in Japan. . . his pictures are there. Will they hide for ever?
No, they won't hide forever but maybe longer than imagined. In fact, it's good his kids are not in the spotlight. Their childhood shouldn't be tainted with their father's wrong decisions in life.
KanwuliaExtra: And who was campaigning for a sex offender, fraudster or criminal? Sometimes, it is good to step back and look at things closely. NOBODY campaigned for a sex offender, fraudster or criminal ON THIS THREAD OR ANY OTHER.
All people were trying to do was to give another chance to re-visit a conviction and look at what evidence the convict had been sharing. Does that mean you are supporting a sex-offender, fraudster or criminal? NO!
You only did that because of your emotional investment in the case(some where insinuating financial gain). . . .gosh! Who wants financial gain from a convict whose funds are probably depleted to minus ZERO balance due to legal fees?
You think the US does officials are this jobless and illiterate?
You seem to be getting me wrong. What brought about the "campaign for a sex offender" were the questions about his family, kids and wife. Kindly read back our comments again. I wasn't referring to anyone on this thread or you.
KanwuliaExtra: Is this a subtle shade? Don't even go there. IT MAY BE YOUR MAIN THING. . . .BUT NOT MINE. I don't wanna associate with 'ex-fraudsters' either . . . . who only repent after they get busted!
Sorry. . . .those are the most sickening people on this thread! At least I understand as a medical professional that sex offenders are extremely mentally compromised and SICK! Like drug addiction. . . .they can't help themselves.
Fraudsters and drug dealers? I really think are WORSE THAN SEX-OFFENDERS! Sexual rapist and financial/emotional rapist wetin be the difference?
I really can't differentiate between a minor and a 'major' victim of rape. I think it is a spiritual attack on both minors and adults. . . .SAD!
There's a difference between the sexual rapist, drug dealers and the financial/emotional rapist. All leave a scar on their victims and we can't quantify it.
Yes, you're right, RAPE IS RAPE! Although I don't believe it is spiritual.
KanwuliaExtra: Is this a subtle shade? Don't even go there. I don't wanna associate with 'ex-fraudsters' either . . . . who only repent after they get busted!
It's not a shade but I was just generalizing. Look at the state of Nigeria, even with a well packaged visa application, the visa might still be rejected, especially the U.S., So why jeopardize it by campaigning for a sex offender, or a fraudster, or any criminal?
Criminals hardly repent, most especially if they have been getting away with their crimes or have benefited well from it before they got caught. Hushpuppi also would likely go back to continuing fraud because there's no job he could do to afford him those luxuries he enjoyed for many years, except if he joins politics.
KanwuliaExtra: That is ok too. But we all know he is Pablo Escobar's son. Who is 'GrandPa Bah"? Where did A. O. B have his early childhood education? Who did he live with. He has travelled to 'many' countries. This dude is of above average intelligence mind you. What intrigues me is that he has a very sketch background. According to him, he is a HUSBAND AND A FATHER OF 2 SONS? Where is his wife? People MUST KNOW THEM.
Even Amoda Ogunlere can be traced to BAT. Somebody MUST know you in this NIGERIA!
Someone like him don't put their private life in the public. He knows he's a monster and wouldn't dare to put them in harm's way. Ironically, he was also a predator to them, just that it didn't manifest.
KanwuliaExtra: That is ok too. But we all know he is Pablo Escobar's son. Who is 'GrandPa Bah"?
Even Amoda Ogunlere can be traced to BAT. Somebody MUST know you in this NIGERIA!
I'm sure he's got a family somewhere in Nigeria or anywhere else. You must understand that he might have been an eyesore to his family right from his early days, hence the reason he was abandoned by them, most especially when the case is an international one.
It seems he's got kids also, I really can't remember. The main thing is that, nobody wants to associate themselves with a sex offender, and not even when it happened on the U.S. soil. Imagine a young guy living in Nigeria and hope to go for study or anything abroad now being the main campaigner for the release of a sex offender with strong evidence against him.
The U.S. is always watching every moves, so it's best not to jeopardize one's future for a sex offender.
1Sharon: No sis I don't agree. Nigerians don't like to portray any vulnerability
Which Nigerian will come out to express sympathy for their relation that has been arrested for child rape?? How is that going to make them look? Even westerners don't do that. Nobody wants to be associated with that.
His main moniker before he got arrested was OYINBOGOJU. That moniker doesn't get more yoruba than that.
If the case had happened in Nigeria, the family wouldn't have let it get to the cops or media.
Which one is “BAH”? This man, like MANY “Nigerians” are of questionable origin. Mother? Father? Siblings? He practically grew up alone.
There is something about Karma. Things in life are seldom coincidental.
What put A.O.B and this 13 year-old’s path to cross tragically? My theory?
If your father was a rapist, you must have the genes of a rapist manifest in ANY MEMBER OF THE GENERATION TO CONTINUE THE CURSE.
Similarly, IF YOU ARE A RAPIST. . . . Your own child will be raped!
Both Mr. A.O.B and the 13 year-old victim are angles of generational curses whose paths were destined to cross unfavorably.
“DISCLAIMER: I am not saying the 13 year-old victim deserved what she experieced. Just looking at this unfortunate occurrence from a philosophical viewpoint. For someone on a B1-B2 visa to be placed in the vicinity of this minor and connect on the most diabolical level?
BAD KARMA AT WORK!*
About his tribe or ethnicity, he might be Yoruba or any other tribe. Although I haven't heard any Yoruba bearing such name but you must understand that there are some families that purposefully changed their name because of many reasons.
If you look at the Abacha family, I'm sure if their father was not an elite and also a former military president, some of them might/would have changed their last name because of the shame that comes with the name. But they didn't do that because the name still opens doors for many of them even with the stain on it.
KanwuliaExtra: Look at him properly. He looks like a 'sub-saharan/West African" half-breed.
1. If I were to commit any crime in this world. . . . . one 'yoruba' family member will at least sympathize with me on social media as FAMILY MEMBER regardless of if the like me or NOT! When he got in trouble in the US, he called where first?
2. The ability for other foreign countries to obtain Nigerian passports with ease is legendary because our lack of patriotic pride.
3. For someone to live in Japan in his 20s. . . .hobnobbing with political misfits like 'Desmond Olushola Elliot". . . .and not be able to utter one YORUBA SLANG on any of his threads. . . . .? C'mon.
How many times did he change his name? Always with recycled 'yoruba' names. . . .Dat wan look like 'Eko Boy'?
His eyes alone. . . . . .
You still haven't given your conclusion on wether he's guilty or not. You've been more focused on the "racism" of the Georgia Police. Also, you're now focusing on his nationality. Those are not the bones of contention.
The question is, is Mr. Bah guilty or not based on the evidences, his lies and deceits, arrogance, lack of remorse and manipulation? All these are the things you've read on this thread, so you definitely have a conclusion and I'm interested in it.
I am still finding that hard to believe o. Have you EVER been in the hands of GEORGIA POLICE? I can testify. . . . .THEY ARE HEARTLESS when it comes to foreigners. Especially if you meet the 'trump-quads'.
He may be guilty or innocent. . . .but so far I AM NOT CONVINCED TILL I CAN DO MY OWN RESEARCH.
Read the thread till the end. I'm sure you'll know whether he's guilty or not. Also, the evidence against him shows that it's not a matter of witch hunt.
