Why have a kid at that age in a country that life expectancy is 60 years or so?

Why have a kid when you don't have the energy to be there for such child at that age?

A very selfish man and woman brought an innocent child all because of "I want to be called a parent." Irritating folks!

My point is he was found guilty with solid evidence and he was convicted for that. Also, that guy seem to be criminal-minded with all his footprints littered online. He might be a product of dysfunctional family and society, which I can agree with, but that still holds no water when one commits crimes. Do the crime and do the time.

Nobody have a familial obligation towards someone that might have been a nuisance right for younger days. Well, I wouldn't know why they didn't and haven't come out to the public, but for nobody to even come out says a lot about the convict, especially we Africans that live a communal life.

It's not a matter of prayer. It's a matter of you doing the right thing at the right time so as to be rewarded when the time comes.

Last week, a lady made a comment about how his father abandoned her, her siblings and her mother at their lowest while the man was busy philandering. Now, the man is weak and sick but need financial support from the lady. The lady decided not to help him and I see nothing wrong in it.

So many men will go out to spend on other women meanwhile the kids and wife are starving at home. When such man have health challenges, him, his family and the society will want and expect the neglected wife and kids to care for him. That's wrong, hypocritical and wicked!

In life, you can't eat your cake and have it.

Yes, it would be a good thing if his family could come out to show support for the victim and apologize for the misdeed of the convict, but they hold no legal obligation to do so. Only Bah have the answers to why he had nobody come out.

The victim and her family were in the spotlight because there was no other way around it. I mean, you can't be in a victim's position and be in hiding or under the radar. You need to be on the forefront to fight for justice, supported by your family and friends.

It's not a shade but I was just generalizing. Look at the state of Nigeria, even with a well packaged visa application, the visa might still be rejected, especially the U.S., So why jeopardize it by campaigning for a sex offender, or a fraudster, or any criminal?

Criminals hardly repent, most especially if they have been getting away with their crimes or have benefited well from it before they got caught. Hushpuppi also would likely go back to continuing fraud because there's no job he could do to afford him those luxuries he enjoyed for many years, except if he joins politics.

I'm sure he's got a family somewhere in Nigeria or anywhere else. You must understand that he might have been an eyesore to his family right from his early days, hence the reason he was abandoned by them, most especially when the case is an international one.

It seems he's got kids also, I really can't remember. The main thing is that, nobody wants to associate themselves with a sex offender, and not even when it happened on the U.S. soil. Imagine a young guy living in Nigeria and hope to go for study or anything abroad now being the main campaigner for the release of a sex offender with strong evidence against him.

The U.S. is always watching every moves, so it's best not to jeopardize one's future for a sex offender.

About his tribe or ethnicity, he might be Yoruba or any other tribe. Although I haven't heard any Yoruba bearing such name but you must understand that there are some families that purposefully changed their name because of many reasons.

If you look at the Abacha family, I'm sure if their father was not an elite and also a former military president, some of them might/would have changed their last name because of the shame that comes with the name. But they didn't do that because the name still opens doors for many of them even with the stain on it.
