Good day All,
I landed in Orlando on Sunday and Poe was smooth after gathering all documents for previous births. Visa was renewed in March last year but was not used till now.
Was asked only two, what I was here for and how long I will be staying.
Told her childbirth and will be staying for two months. She stamped me in till December 2019 and I was out of there.
After all the horror stories, I am grateful to spend less than 4mins with the CBP Officer. |

meelife: Please ca you advise if there is any other post related to this as this is the only post i can see on Rose Medical center. Please see what previous post states I used Rose medical center back in 2016. There are cheaper options but I wouldn’t advise them due to current trends in visa renewal Are they a cheaper option, or are thier other cheaper options to use?Does it mean you dont advise people to use them?I will appreciate more detaiFinally back to Nigeria from my secondary missionary journey. So in the spirit of giving back *close eyes* total breakdown of bills paid are;
Doc - $2500 Swap test - $90 Hospital two days stay plus epidural - $3685 which includes all test for baby plus hearing test Epidural - $500 (Was lucky as the anesthesia coy says its 2,500 but hospital gave me an old quote they had stopped using two years ago) Baby's bill - $270 this was sent after we got to nigeria Circumcision - $150 Baby's ticket - $420 (United airline but checked in my 4bags and a car seat with an oversized hand luggage which i had to split in two grin) Baby's bc - $65 (got it in 2days after hospital registered birth) Baby's passport - 165 ( got it in 2 days, went to the passport agency myself) Baby's ETC - $250 (Got a discount cos of my many referrals to the agent)

anonymousmum: Hello guys,
To the veteran mummies,
Is there a format for the notary public document that the father has to sign attesting that he is the father of the child (for passport issuance purposes)?
Or can I just go to any court and assume they should know what to include in the document? it is the ds 3053 form that you will notarize. google it |

Fizzywah: You don't need to. My wife is currently in the US for the 2nd and only renewed by Dropbox in late December. You really don't need to visit first. Please save the money instead for more important things during your childbirth journey. And like you we had our first baby in 2015 with a B1/B2 visa. Hope this helps. you dont need to travel again as earlier mentioned. i used my first for child birth and renewed and went for another missionary journey. i will just be going for vacation this year after two missionary journeys. |

Good evening mummy's and daddy's to be, i am here on behalf of my elder brother who has been trying to conceive for 6years now. I am believing God that this year wont pass him by.
He had staph in his system without treat for many years as he was not aware, but since discovered they have treated and treated but it still keeps coming back. Recently he visited a specialist in general hospital dat said they need to carry out a surgery because he has blocked tubes in his penis...(i do not have full details though). But i read of someone here whose husband had same issues but is pregnant this December or this January due to two drugs he was taking, now i have been looking for her name to at least contact her but i cannot remember her moniker again.
please if you are the one help ooo.
thank you all |

Finally back to Nigeria from my secondary missionary journey. Off to plan and prepare for my daddy's burial whom i lost just before leaving to deliver my baby. |

biollar1: My people....
Was actually waiting for my mum's interview today before sharing both her interview experience and my POE rundown .
Myself, hubby, son and long belle left Lagos at 35weeks+! Via Lagos-Frankfurt-Newark-Houston. Was asked for fit
Testimony No 2: My Mum got her visa this morning in Lagos, she went with her burden of proofs but was not checked. As advised by Happytbaby, she requested for interpreter and the VO asked her if she cud try and she said yes. Was asked Just 2 questions ( where are u going and why). She replied and White paper given to her and Vo is typing, my mama refused to go o, the security guy came and explained to her and she said she wants her passport that how cum dey collected passport from her and gave her just half a paper. The guy had to explain the whole process to her again.
I'm grateful to all esp my rose model ladyguinivere, Happytbaby, firsttymum, chloe7, evemama, modath,Omodadi2,theleakytribe, Feddy27, bisoye82 and everybody.
May all our journeys be fruitful and smooth and May the good lord crown all our efforts positively. Congrats on ur successful journey and Poe. I wish I can change my return leg cos that journey loooong mhen! |

LadyGuinivere: Good afternoon ma. Congrats on your pregnancy. Maa this your question is frowned upon here as it is considred spoonfeeding . The essence of this thread is to assist research. You can't go all the way to america and not be prepared. I can give you pointers sha. On top or below this thread is an el paso hospital advert. Their website is detailed on how to reach them. You can also use google or the search button on nairaland and search for el paso. U have a lot of material to go thru. Afterwards u can ask for CLARIFIATIONS on stuff u didn't understand. U will see options of accomodation on the website and even on this page, means of payment has been discussed. Even without looking at the moniker I knew u were d one answering. God will continue to bless ur good heart. |
