Dear mamas and papas in d house, information is power they say, and I ve come to realise did since my husband introduced me to this thread. I got all d info I required to apply for my very first us visa from dis thread and went for my first missionary journey successfully and now just renewed my visa via drop box successfully. I know it will all end in praise. Will be back here to share poe stories. Unfortunately no much info about birthing in Denver, Colorado has been discussed on the thread so I am on d search for one. I may just discover another mhis.

Shout out to all d sabi mamas and papas, wishing u all Gods blessings to ur little ones and safe delivery to all waddling moms!

Because of d testimonies I ve read so far, I would like to advice mums to be applying for visa. U can be pregnant and apply for visa for vacation, it is not a crime and it is allowed. When I went for my visa interview, I was pregnant but it wasn't obvious I actually did want to birth in the us but didn't have d funds during visa application so I knew I cannot say I'm going to birth when I cannot prove I can fund d bill. A lot of family and friends who had gone before me to give birth advised me to conceal my pregnancy since I wasn't showing, I didn't argue with them but agreed with hubby DAT if we were asked we will say the truth. During the interview, I was asked if I was pregnant and if I would like to seek medical attention and I was honest with the vo. I told him I was pregnant but not decided yet if I will give birth there. And he went ahead to say if I decided to give birth I should ensure I pay my bills. And these information I'm sure was part of my interview transcript. When I now had enough monies in my account and was sending the change of intent letter, I even referred to our interview conversation, telling them I ve no decided to give birth there since I can now afford to do so. Poe was just a breeze when d CBP requested for proof DAT d vo was aware of my intentions as i printed my mail as part of my poe doc. There was no secondary inspection. My point is u don't ve to lie to get what u want. Even though we didn't even have up to 400k in both accounts we presented for d interview. So please mom n dads to be just be smart about how to package it situation and with God on it side u will succeed. Sorry for d longest post I've ever had d courage to post. grin

I'm not sure I understand this your story oh.... but I'm think you have gone 4 birthing once and now want to go for anoda.. - (sharp-sharp wink) but you r concerned about renewing ur visa. However, since you say u declared the pregnancy and sent the change of intent letter to the embassy, I don't think you'll have any difficultly with renewal - as long as you can show that u paid all your bills.

Babe, d earlier d better but my son is a yr and half now and I'm due in may next year!

I would advice you to just go ahead and renew via drop box, worse case scenerio, they would invite you to come for interview and you go with evedence to show that you paid all your bill during your last missionary journey and you allsogo with burden of proof for this journey.

Ok thanks

Hello everyone, pls I need advice on my visa renewal. I got my current visa for vacation but was pregnant at d time and declared it. I later sent a change of intent to d embassy as I didn't go on vacation anymore before porting for childbirth. Was meant to travel in December for a vacation but price of tickets are not smiling so considering cancelling. My visa expires in march and I'm due in may. My problem now is, will I ve a problem renewing d visa and going for another missionary journey, since I didn't use d first visa for vacation at all, just to give birth? Pls veterans ur advice will be seriously appreciated.

@cinakin. U don't need a current account to buy from union bank. It can be ur savings account just present ur valid visa and ticket.

@berryl we only sent a letter from hubby and myself and data page of our passport plus baby passport and money. We didn't go to the embassy direct, but used an agent that was given to us by a natural and mom I met here. We got the etc by post.

Just like I promised I used the west Houston birthing center and paid $3214, my tests from Nigeria was used. Scan was inclusive in d cost as Holly conducted 3 scans. I used a Jewish doctor for circumcision and paid $400 cos he came to my house but he normally charge $300, if u go to his place of practice. Had one pediatric visit plus one immunization which I paid $147. We had to go to d local government office to get an expedited bc as far one day was meant to be posted was delayed a bit cos of d mistake in d name from d birthing center. Hubby was not comfortable sending baby's blue passport for visa so we got a letter from d Nigerian embassy in the form of an emergency certificate. We left for Nigeria exactly 4weeks after birth.
