Aaaaah. You guys are making me nostalgic. Person don old o. Nyengi Koin also wrote another beautiful book that I enjoyed during my childhood, the Second Chance. Main characters were Richard Pepple and Mina Erein. Who remembers these lines from Charles Dickens' "A Tale of Two Cities": "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way...." |

If you ask me, a lot of Lagos-based lawyers are heaving a sigh of relief over the fate of Justice Rita Ofili Ajumogobia. She has a very terrible reputation in legal circles. no respect for lawyers, very lazy, she can stand down your matter for a whole day and at the end of the day, you would be asked to come and take another date that she has left the court premises. That woman has no conscience. By virtue of the manner in which she treats lawyers who have matters before her court(Federal High Court), it is not impossible to believe that Fani Kayode must have heavily bribed her in order to win in the case against him. |
themall:. please don't mislead people. Phony Tony is Tony Abbott, one time Australian Prime Minister. |
Naija9090:Why should we wager the survival of our economy on one man who has been playing nairabet with the dollar? The same Ifeanyi Ubah who in 2006-2007 would shoot in the air in apapa to scare away bankers who have given him money for his business. the same Ifeanyi Ubah who sold NNPC's products without authorisation and refused to pay back. Abegiii! make we dey careful. |
Even tho she didnt state it clearly that she was sacked because she is igbo, it is clear that her language set the tone to whip up tribal sentiments. Truth is she was not performing cos a lot of people didn't know that such a popular person held any government appointment until her sack. |
Hmmmmm. I don hear about 2 years ago say the man hand no too clean o. Can't remember the exact name of the drug but I recall my brother whose friend works in EFCC saying David Mark's company actually brings in that particular drug into Nigeria and NAFDAC turns the other eye as per carrying out the relevant checks. in order words, kickbacks. |
Yes. Eric Holder can represent MTN if he applies to the CJN. However, he must convince the CJN on the expediency of why he has to be the one to represent MTN when we have competent lawyers licensed to practise in Nigeria. |

Why are some people so against Madam Oby? Please what has she done in the past that warrants the kind of invectives some people hurl at her? Has she been such a bad person while she was in government? Or is it that she is not fighting a just cause? Is she in the BBOG movement for mere fame or for money? |
"Didn't We Almost Have It All" by Whitney Houston. |
Congratulations Alibaba. Proud Father. a lot of discipline would have gone into achieving that. |
CORRUPTION IS FIGHTING BACK. REV. MATHEW KUKAH, DON'T LET PDP USE YOU. EVEN GEJ IN HIS NEW YEAR MESSAGE HAS TOLD US TO BE WARY OF RELIGIOUS LEADERS. LET US BE CAREFUL. |
