SE has become politically irrelevant in Nigeria today because they will rather stick with sentiments and tribalism instead of objectivity. They have again chosen to be powerless and set themselves backward, they foolishly shout biafra, biafra like they are in wonderland. The case of Rivers state will even be worse than that of the SE. Shame on Rivers State, a state soon to be ruled by dogs.

I SUPPORT AMAECHI TO SELL RIVER STATES AND IT'S PEOPLE AS SLAVES SINCE THEY INSIST ON VOTING THAT USELESS WICKED PARTY CALLED PDP. THEY HAVE ALREADY MORGAGED THEIR CHILDREN'S FUTURE WITH SENTIMENTS AND SUCESSFULLY MADE THEMSELVES SLAVES TO MAMA PISS VIA HER PUPPET WIKE. undecided THERE IS NOTHING WIKE WILL DO TO AMAECHI COS BY MAY 29TH AMAECHI WILL HAVE FEDERAL SUPPORT. WIKE ALSO ENJOYED THE SAME PRIVILEDGE UNDER GEJ
Rivers state will ride on the back of Wike into oblivion. Their stupidity is worse than that of all the SE states out together. Enjoy your jolly ride to hell with Wike.

Nairaland i sense complicity and possibly compromise In your recent daily reporting of negative stories about Amaechi. I suspect Wike and his cohorts have bribed someone in NL. Keep up polarised reporting and watch your downfall.

Something is not right in this write up undecided

1
. She said the man, who she later identified as Seun, took her to Ojota in Lagos.

She said Seun took care of her for two weeks, while she recuperated from her injuries.

Precious added, “One day, he said he wanted to help me to get eyedrop because my eyes were swollen. I begged him to allow me to follow him, at least to see the sun.

Question
Who is Seun and how is he involved in the whole conspiracy? Has he been arrested?

2. “He obliged me and while we were going, my slippers cut and I went back into the house to pick another one. I was on my way when I saw Kelvin (Okito) my maternal cousin.”

The Ohaozara, Ebonyi State indigene, said she narrated her ordeal to Okito, thinking that he would rescue her.

Question
Is Kelvin connected with the cultists or Seun? Too much of coincidence here undecided

3. Precious said she had pleaded with a man that had indicated interest to sleep with her on a night, to allow her make a call with his phone.

She said she called Okito and told him she was suffering, begging him to talk to the woman to allow her go.

Okito was said to have assured the 15-year-old that he would do something.

Question
Why did she call Okito again? Why not call her mother whom she's been craving to call and had phone seized earlier?

We can never know the truth but to me it seem the girl must have ran away with the men #justsaying
The story is not straightforward, this girl has questions to answer. However though she is still just a teen.

This new found obsession on Amechi is quite fascinating. .
Amaechi is the last Igbo man standing, he also stands the chance of a very juicy position. The enemies of the SS and SE, the owners of the media can see this coming - he must be taken out by hook or crook; lets clap for the media, lets clap for Nairaland.

I am an economist cum chartered accountant with experience and training in public finance and i can tell you that this is not a good proposal coming from the CBN helms man. He advised that only 30 percent should be retained. So, if crude oil price crashes again in the future will the government now completely divest to raise fund- of course not.

What government needs to do are;

1. Sanitize the industry of corruption and excessive leakages
2. Restructure the investment arm of NNPC- NAPIMS
3. Transfer all its interest in oil and gas assets to the investment company
4. List the company on stock exchange market for access to cheap, sustainable and developmental finance thereby freeing up the government at the centre with funding challenges.

I have always doubted the competence of this CBN governor.
Thank you for your sound analysis of this situation. This CBN governor should be tied to a stake and given 36strokes. He is such a disappointment, this is the first time I have heard him say something and it is so dumb.

Now I know why Jonathan's ship sank. His administration was full of morons, does this cow even know a bit about what he proposes? It's obvious he has never been in the oil and gas industry. This is the worst proposal ever, GMB should try this and Nigeria is finished for good. I bet.

DSTV cannot do pay as you watch because you dont have electricity.

DSTV knows that companies patronise them more than individuals so they careless what you guys think, boycott to protest xenophobic attacks is a just cause and I will be the first to shut down,

conversely, boycott because you can no longer afford the new rates fuelled by you devalued currency, insecurity and poor electricity, which you have never protested in recent times is total BS.

If you can no longer afford DSTV, stick to NTA, don't make it OUR problem but YOURS.
I think the major issue here is that of DSTV's disregard of our judicial system and the xenophobic attacks by SA. Its not only about the price hike.

Read the recent twits by AKA the south african rapper where he acknowledged Nigeria's contribution in the liberation of S.A from apartheid and what we get in return is that their "white supremacists" have diverted their craving for black exploitation to Nigerians and our black south african brothers are killing Nigerians in xenophobic attacks? These south africans must be stopped and DSTV will be the first casualty, we will not be exploited in our own country. Nigerians we call on you to boycott DSTV, enough is enough.

See fresh reasoning grin
What we must understand is that the results from the south south and south east regions are not representative of the peoples mandate. It was massively rigged by the PDP. Many in SS and SE did not vote GEJ.
