It is the same with our President na. He has been 'educated up to PHD level' so he is eminently qualified. Just the same way Buhari, without certificate or result has been adjudged by the Supreme court as being educated up to school certificate level and therefore qualified to be President.

As we like nonsense, nonsense shall continue to be made of our institutions.

PoliticsRe: Kano Should Ban Men And Women From Attending Same Markets, Schools - Aanu Adegun by mushystuff: 6:59pm On Dec 28, 2019
You're clearly a bit slow with this comment... in fact we further recommend that the constitution be amended for Kano so they have male and female governors, commissioners and appointees in different offices for same positions to cater effectively to males and females. This should also include separate mosques and female imams and traditional leaders.

and who is going to finance all this....??

sorry, but you are forgetting the financial part....
if you say, okay, lets separate men from women in everything, then you have to organise special transport for them....

this law wouldnt make sense....

only thing you can do is to tell men to dont disdurb women....
anything else is foolish and will be very expensive....

Succinct!!

While the ruling APC is also a party filled with criminals and senile lots as with the PDP, it's disgusting to see people take sides just because of the pent up hatred they have for the man in power. It makes them exactly what they accuse others of, hypocrites
@the bold: you have established that both parties are full of crazies including Buhari. You and the one you quoted aren't neutral, you support APC and love Buhari. Others for clear reasons dislike Buhari and refuse to support him so why the hate? How c8me you think you're allowed to support someone but others must be castigated for not supporting your choice? You should look in the mirror for a clear definition/image of hypocrisy!

Oga Nami, it is your turn to do your bit. Stop complaining about your predecessor and get to work. Thank you.
That is the precedent Buhari and APC set with Osinbajo always whining about 16 years of PDP even over 5 years down the line. Nami cannot do different and it's good that he's hailing 2011-2012 performance over 2015-2019 when Buhari, Tinubu and crew took over. How's that, zombie?

Rubbish. Oga Sultan, you people have already set up your BH, fulani herdsmen and ISWAP connect to do all the fighting on your behalf with almajiri cretins lined up as steady supply/replacements and informants. Even the so called moderates among you are in full support so you have long taken up arms!

Your CJN and Lawan have taken up judicial and legislative arms against Christians with Buhari as the chief Islamist! We see a d know these things but you will surely fail!

And one individual is allowed to move that volume of cash in one fell swoop? Do you even understand the reasons for the many financial regulations barring movement of large volumes of cash? Money laundering and its attendant issues and right in the middle of national elections? That was a criminal move by Tinubu no matter how u choose to justify it.

If true, it reveals few things:

1. That the judiciary has no balls, and that is - because many of them have soiled their hands in dirty politics with the state
2. That diplomatic and social media pressures do work; with the intervention of everyone here and there and the US government, the federal government has no options really.
3. That Sowore's disruptive politics makes sense than people realise... for example, Sowore has drawn heightened attention of the World about the repressive state of politics. Also, without Sowore's situation, Sambo Dansuki may never ever be released.

Kudos to Omoyele Sowore, a enigma and a disruptor.

But the game is just beginning.
You may not really blame the judiciary even though we currently have a ninny as CJN. The courts can only pronounce judgement and orders and is regulated with stringent rules. The duty of enforcement and compliance rests with the Executive and even if they hold an official in contempt, it is the same Executive that should arrest and imprison the contemnor. Do you see that ever happening?

Better get over this Jonathan syndrome. It would have resulted in as much a disaster as this. As much as I regret having Buhari as president, I have never for a day wished Jonathan continue his father Christmas dispensation.
This one na consolation talk. Jonathan is not this stupid whether you agree or not. If for nothing else, the common man had more money to spend and resolve pressing issues and infrastructure was still being developed!

If you want to change something for being bad, you go for a better option/alternative! That is basic common sense. It is ok to not support Jonathan for whatever reason but it is certainly not okay to choose one worse than he is! That rules out any form of patriotism and exposes your ethnic and political bias for all to see. There were better candidates than Buhari and Jonathan on the ballot!

The problem is that y'all refused to hear the real message and key in to liberate the South from our common enemy. You chose to remain stuck on irrelevant peripheral issues like respect and whether he was prostrating to talk to or about Yoruba elders. Did he not insult the silly saboteur Igbos too?

It is an offence to withdraw support?
Yes it is terribly offensive to withdraw support after initially offering same to one who is clearly undeserving and doesn't even possess a modicum of capacity to serve in the position you deliberately supported him for despite knowing him to be a tyrant just because of ethnic and political bias.

Your support put him there but your withdrawal of support cannot remove him because you already handed him all it takes to keep himself there whether you like it or not.

Why are we like this na, everything should not be I told you so line of thought.
If you don't believe in a particular authority, you convince those (voters in democracy) with the capacity to change such authority to buy your idea, it should not be about seeking for who to mock or abuse.
My community road in Lagos is still water logged despite the dry season, but members of different parties are working on how to bring relevant authorities to do something about it, let competitive utterances or attitude be limited to election, after election should be getting good result from whomever is in position.
It cannot end o! As dem no dey hear word. I know for a fact that if the victim of thos lawlessness was Igbo or from the old Eastern region, we will not see all these fake repentance. They still refuse to acknowledge that they were wrong and SE/SS has always been right as far as Buhari is concerned.

PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Judge Withdraws From Sowore’s Suit by mushystuff: 2:46pm On Dec 23, 2019
Sowore's publication via his Sahara Reporters medium has done him in on this one meaning more delays. The same Sahara reported he used to peddle propaganda and lies against GEJ. Meanwhile, General Buhari and his DSS goons have failed to file any fresh grounds since his re-arrest abi na govt approved kidnap!

Great Buhari supporters! Una well done.

Full news details below:

Justice Ahmed Mohammed of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday withdrew from the fundamental rights enforcement suit instituted by the 'RevolutionNow' protests convener, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, seeking an order for his release from custody of the Department of State Service. There have been no fresh charges instituted against Sowore since he was rearrested by the operatives of the DSS on December 6 barely 24 hours of being released from the agency's detention lasting over months.

But Justice Mohammed ruled on Monday that he could not hear Sowore's case filed on December 10 saying it was the fair, just and proper thing to do in view of the previous publications by Sowore's medium, Sahara Reporters, accusing him of taking bribe in a case to influence the outcome of his case.

The case in question is the trial of a former Governor of Benue State, Senator Gabriel Suswam, who is now being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission before another judge of the court, Justice Okon Abang. Justice Mohammed noted on Monday that the reports by Sahara Reporters in 2016 and 2019 made him to withdraw from the ex-governor's trial.

He recalled that when the first report was published in 2016, he was prevailed upon by the prosecution and defence teams to continue with the case. He said on continuing with the case, a similar report was published in June this year.

He said the situation put him in a situation whereby if he ruled in favour of Sowore, it could be perceived as having been blackmailed by Sowore to so rule, and that in the event that he ruled against the activist, he could be perceived as being vengeful.

"Justice is rooted in confidence," the judge said, adding, "That is to say none of the parties should have fear or apprehension that he will not get justice before a court." He then ordered that the case file be sent back to the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Tsoho, for reassignment to another judge.
