The PDP Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) berates the factional National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole, for making derogatory comments against PDP’s successful zonal Presidential rally held in Owerri, Imo state, on Tuesday. Oshiomhole is discomfited that the PDP is taking back its traditional states, including Imo, ahead of the general elections and that Nigerians and Imolites are genuinely rallying behind our candidate, Atiku, as well as our gubernatorial candidate, Emeka Ihedioha. We know how the Buhari Presidency has sunk low to be paying money to people to attend his rallies; how the Presidency and the APC are recruiting agents in various parts of the country, through whom they conduit renting fees ranging from N5,000 to N10,000 per head. These agents transport the rented crowd, in buses and trailers from neighboring states, to venues of President Buhari’s rallies to give the impression of massive support from the host state. Usually, the same individuals are recycled in rallies across the country. The agents also orchestrate stunts, including getting people to climb on vehicles, rooftops, electric poles, towers and masts, as well as blocking roads around the venue and surging towards the podium, all to create an impression of crowd overflow and a fake craving for Buhari. It has been established that over 50 % of people at any President Buhari’s state rallies are made up of apolitical persons rented from contiguous states. This explains why the crowd at President Buhari’s rallies, which having no affinity with his ambition, is always unruly. Already, ahead of President Buhari’s forthcoming rally in Anambra, agents have been fully mobilized to rent and transport crowd from Kogi, Edo and Delta to create an impression that he enjoys massive support in the state. We ask; who is fooling who? President Buhari should stop deceiving himself and know that the masses, which he impoverished, will collect his money, which is part of our common patrimony, and still vote their candidate, Atiku, and defend their votes to the very end. https://all-gists..com/2019/01/PDP-Mocks-Buhari-APC-For-Renting-Crowds-At-Rally-Blasts-Oshiomhole.html

The All Progressive Congress (APC) has taken a swipe at former President Olusegun Obasanjo for accusing President Muhammadu Buhari of plotting to rig the coming presidential election. Speaking at an interactive session with reporters in Abuja on Sunday, the APC National Publicity Secretary Lanre Issa-Onilu noted that the party has no reason to do so. He explained that the allegation of plot to rig the poll was a mere imagination of the former president whom he alleged was afraid of his past. Issa-Onilu said, “We can understand where the former president is coming from; his past is haunting him.” “2003 and 2007 elections were nothing to write home about, those happened under former President Obasanjo. We all know how the elections went. So, for us in the APC, votes will count.” The APC spokesman stressed that President Buhari has no reason to rig the election, having promised Nigerians that he would ensure the votes were free and fair. He added that while the President’s work would speak for him at the poll, it was during former President Obasanjo’s administration that manipulation of the electoral process was alleged a norm. Issa-Onilu further advised the former president to readjust himself to the reality of what he described as an imminent defeat. “We are going to have a free, credible and fair election,” he insisted. “We have no reasons to want to rig election; our achievements speak for us.” “Former President Obasanjo should adjust himself to the reality of imminent defeat that is staring him in the face.” The APC spokesman made the comments hours after former President Obasanjo accused President Buhari of planning to rig the election scheduled to hold next month. Obasanjo, who read out an open letter entitled “Point for Concern and Action” to reporters at his residence in Abeokuta, had also alleged that the nation was returning to the era of late General Sani Abacha. He said President Buhari lacked the capacity to offer Nigeria what it really deserved at this moment. https://all-gists..com/2019/01/Buharis-Achievements-Will-Speak-For-Him-APC-Replies-Obasanjo.html https://www.channelstv.com/2019/01/20/apc-replies-obasanjo-says-buharis-achievements-will-speak-for-him/?utm_source=TW&utm_medium=ChannelsTV-+AutoPoster&utm_campaign=SNAP%2Bfrom%2BChannels+Television
