teepain: Leave politics aside there weren't any floating funds anywhere. The said floating fund equated to the amount that was earmarked for the Lagos - Calabar rail line. The individual items on the budget totalled accurately, so where did the issue of floating fund arise from?
These legislooters did it to OBJ, they did it to Yaradua and GEJ, and they want to do it again to PMB. Let us be careful lest we fall for their antics. may God bless u my brother u nail it on d head, many know d truth bt bcs of deir hatred to PMB they find it difficult to speak d truth |

LadyExcellency: The budget was full of floating funds, inflated prices, redundant recurrent expenditures and repetitive projects executed and paid for by previous government.
The Legislators just used some of the floating funds to get their demands into the budget.
Remember, the total sum was still reduced by some billions. Mind u bro same Nass removed some developmental project like lLagos to Calabar railway n even reduced some like Lagos--Ibadan highway under construction n Lagos to kano rail line in order to allocate dos funds for their so call constituency projects these so call Honourable members are thieves let call a spade a spade |

dustmalik: Not that Sylva didn't 'allow' Lokpobiri take his place, like you say it. Sylva never had a place in PMB's cabinet, to begin with.
If we are being honest with ourselves, we would agree that PMB was never in support of Sylva, probably because of his corruption cases. PMB never publicly supported Sylva, neither did he campaign for him. In fact, in recent time, there hasn't been any meeting between them. PMB has clearly distanced himself from him. So, those who keep saying that PMB tried to rig the election for Sylva, are just being mischievous, trying to spread falsehood. Confirmed statement |

arresa: To start with, GEJ as the president and commander in chief approved and gave the money to Dasuki for disbursement. Without GEJ as the president making the money available, there won't be even 1 kobo to loot and share.
GEJ is the real thief here, he took the money and gave it to his subs to share on his behalf.
Or you mean the PDP and all the folks around GEJ as the president, commander in chief and the main source of the money that was shared all that money without GEJ's knowledge.
I don't know why it's always very hard for you to align your thoughts with credibility reasoning especially where obviously needed.
Politics and affinity for any man shouldn't stand in between you and what's right and wrong.
This post of yours shows that you lack depth, honest and straight forward thinking to sanely and safely differentiating between right and wrong regardless of your political position or leaning. These cheap political and opportunistic sidings makes you sound like many of these low quality thinking GEJ till 2019 crowd...
Credibility means learning to accept and deal with truth and facts regardless of the brand of politics you play.
GEJ is the original thief here, his authority produced the money for sharing...
GEJ should be in jail by now... You spoke my mind.... thumb up |

holaralph: What else can I say about some peoples comments here. Did we ever think the refineries can start production under GEJ administration, I don't think the refineries should have started production if he had won the election. I don't think GEJ as the special NERVE to handle those jackals swarming around him then. Be that as it may He had tried his best despite being an inexperience and complete gentle president God bless GEJ, but those that scattered everything for him will surely meet their waterloo, Nigeria needs a strong personality because nigeria is a very complex country and Nigerians are extremely complex being to oversee You hv spoken well my dear brother God bless u |
Politics › Re: EFCC Operatives Arrest PDP Spokesperson Olisa Metuh Over N1.4b Fraud by muyiwadavid(m): 5:52pm On Jan 05, 2016 |
babafirst: It is not for Amaechi to explain his source of funding APC....Let me explain my point using the pattern of arrests of Dasuki,Dokpesi and co.It was not the investigation of the source of funding of PDP campaign that led to the arrest of Dasuki and CO but investigations into arms spending and other government expenditure.Revelations from the missing funds traced monies meant for arms to private pockets(most are still there as PDP henchmen rather than spend the money on campaign diverted most, destroying their own campaign and that is why 1.4 Billion is still with greedy Metuh). Now to Amaechi,EFCC cannot investigate party funding because they did not investigate PDP party funding but Wike who took over from Amaechi should be the one providing relevant info for EFCC to arrest Amaechi if he Wike noticed any diversions or missapropriations during his predecessor Amaechi's tenure.Since Wike is not doing that you can't compel EFCC to investigate Amaechi.Did Wike even after his probe indict Amaechi?Like the probing of the arms funds let Wike probe one suspicious project by Amaechi and maybe funds may be traced to APC campaign but if Wike is not helping EFCC I think we shut up about Amaechi and APC election funding. After my long epistle, yawnnnn, let me rest. ...I say Gbam to U |

Scots Referendum
United Nations Referendum I think the best question one would have asked is...why is it that PDP fail to arrest n prosecute the corrupt oppositions in their 16yrs reign?...I guess may be they lack the moral ground to do so...Now should we blame PMB for this? |

Dee60: You want to put Naira in your account in Nigeria and withdraw dollars freely abroad! Where would Nigeria have all the dollars to fund that. with the oil price fallen to by more than 60?
Does it occur to anyone that allowining free withdrawal (dollar against naira) will result in huge dollar debt for Nigeria over time?
Is there not an avenue for students to have their fees transferred officially instead of via ATMs?
The protesters need to push their argument clearly. Otherwise, it is simple commonsense that you cannot dollarise your economy, unless you want to pile up debt for future generations. Common sense.
If we had saved forex when oil was USD100 plus, it would have helped a bit. But with dwindling reserve CBN has to look for ways to curb DOLLAR consumption. We just cannot continue to CONSUME what we dont produce and expect FG or CBN to do magic.
Please think before you talk. Read before you comment. Common sense says so.. |
