Leave politics aside there weren't any floating funds anywhere. The said floating fund equated to the amount that was earmarked for the Lagos - Calabar rail line. The individual items on the budget totalled accurately, so where did the issue of floating fund arise from?

These legislooters did it to OBJ, they did it to Yaradua and GEJ, and they want to do it again to PMB. Let us be careful lest we fall for their antics.

The Legislators just used some of the floating funds to get their demands into the budget.

Remember, the total sum was still reduced by some billions.

If we are being honest with ourselves, we would agree that PMB was never in support of Sylva, probably because of his corruption cases. Did we ever think the refineries can start production under GEJ administration, I don't think the refineries should have started production if he had won the election. I don't think GEJ as the special NERVE to handle those jackals swarming around him then. It is not for Amaechi to explain his source of funding APC....Let me explain my point using the pattern of arrests of Dasuki,Dokpesi and co.It was not the investigation of the source of funding of PDP campaign that led to the arrest of Dasuki and CO but investigations into arms spending and other government expenditure.Revelations from the missing funds traced monies meant for arms to private pockets(most are still there as PDP henchmen rather than spend the money on campaign diverted most, destroying their own campaign and that is why 1.4 Billion is still with greedy Metuh).Now to Amaechi,EFCC cannot investigate party funding because they did not investigate PDP party funding but Wike who took over from Amaechi should be the one providing relevant info for EFCC to arrest Amaechi if he Wike noticed any diversions or missapropriations during his predecessor Amaechi's tenure.Since Wike is not doing that you can't compel EFCC to investigate Amaechi.Did Wike even after his probe indict Amaechi?Like the probing of the arms funds let Wike probe one suspicious project by Amaechi and maybe funds may be traced to APC campaign but if Wike is not helping EFCC I think we shut up about Amaechi and APC election funding.After my long epistle,yawnnnn,let me rest.

You want to put Naira in your account in Nigeria and withdraw dollars freely abroad! Where would Nigeria have all the dollars to fund that. with the oil price fallen to by more than 60?

Does it occur to anyone that allowining free withdrawal (dollar against naira) will result in huge dollar debt for Nigeria over time?

Is there not an avenue for students to have their fees transferred officially instead of via ATMs?

The protesters need to push their argument clearly. Otherwise, it is simple commonsense that you cannot dollarise your economy, unless you want to pile up debt for future generations. Common sense.

If we had saved forex when oil was USD100 plus, it would have helped a bit. But with dwindling reserve CBN has to look for ways to curb DOLLAR consumption. We just cannot continue to CONSUME what we dont produce and expect FG or CBN to do magic.
