Hello everyone. I opened and express entry profile this last august. And my score was 355.. I got an email from cic that I should check my EE profile that it has been updated.but when I logged in And check my profile, there was no changes or no updates.... Please, why did they send me that email. Or is there something I need to do?

I will first of all tell my self we don't have crude oil anymore... And ask myself, what next. Then I focus on agricultural exportation and exportation of other mineral resources. This will boost our economy and make dollars available again.
2) all the money recovered from corrupt politicians, will be given out as loan with zero interest, to farmers and genuine business men that produces goods and services that can be exported and also used in Nigeria.
3)i will place embargo on some foreign goods AR increase d cost of importing such goods.
4)i will make sure, by all means, provide nothing keys than 18hours power supply to every household in naigeria
5)make a law, that any public office holder that embezzles more than 5 million naira must be killed.

By these, I believe the country will see a genuine change. God bless Nigeria

On the other hand, it's this economy that's making things so hard for people. No hope whatsoever... It's simply a confused economy.
Recession is normal. America was once in recession too. But what's abnormal is when a nation is in recession and there is no visible plan or effort by the government to check the economy.
In Nigeria so far, no effort is in line by the government to curb this recession. Instead, our government has been quiet, busy running after corrupt people and corruption is still at large.
All we need now is a good economic plan. And our economy will atleast change a little.
Let's diversify and pretend we don't have oil at all, let's cut unnecessary lavish spending, let's cut our lawmakers and other government officials salary, let's give loans to entrepreneurs with little or no interest rate, let's encourage export over import, let's reduce taxes in foreign companies so that more companies will come and invest in out economy... And so on. I believe we have good economicts and if we don't, we can employ from overseas, so that they can plan this economy. Believe me, we have all it takes. We just need able hands..

This is exactly why I get angry when they say Nigeria is the giant of Africa....

It is possible, but I don't see it happening. Nigeria can only overtake South Africa if :
*we diversify the economy (look into agriculture and other mineral resources like coal, limestone etc)
*reduce the salaries of our lawmakers by 30%
*encourage entrepreneurs by making available loans with zero percent interest
*focusing more on economic issues rather than politics
*choosing able hands to man every government parastatal and getting rid of directors who are appointed by nepotism.
*giving death penalty to any public officer who embezzles more than 1millon naira

If all these can be put in place, withing a year, we all shall see a significant change in the country.

But unfortunately, I know this can't be possible... SMH.

that's why I'm so sorry for this nation. We have been running round a circle for years.

And for the record, I have never for once believed that Nigeria can be like SA in terms of GDP, infrastructure, development and so on. I've been to SA, so I know what I'm saying.

It took IQAS less than 15days or so to evaluate my credentials. I think it's fast coz of my institution. My wife's own isn't out yet, and we our credentials got to IQAS the same day. So I'm still waiting for her own.
If my wife is the PA, we obviously have higher points due to her age and certifications. So knowing that fully well, do we still need to open 2 profiles? If yes, which should be d second profile and why?

You can create two profile based on your score or who you think would be most qualified based on the parameters of AGE, Education etc....

And Also, How long did he takes IQAS to evaluate your Educational Certificates... I want to compare.

Also has anyone evaluates his or her Certificates from an Indian School?

hello everyone, i and my wife did IELTS and we also have our ECA via IQAS already.so we are about creating an EE profile. i read here a while ago that its advisable we have 2 different separate profiles. originally,i want my wife to be the PA. so i don't know which second profile am to open again.Asides my wife being the PA,can i open ;1) another EE profile showing me as the PA? 2)another profile stating im single? 3? another profile showing shes the PA but traveling alone please advice ......

No, I did not. You only need to evaluate your highest level or degree of qualification. In my case, my highest qualification is BSc, so I evaluated BSc.

OK, that's how I got an email from IQAS on August 3, that they have my documents and my file has been placed in line for processing. Only for me to get a call from my office that I have a mail from IQAS, and also got an email from IQAS, that my evaluation has been concluded....
I was shocked... That was damn too fast and efficient.
I wonder why some people still use WES tho.

Recently, Buhari said Nigeria is broke. Hmmm, can u imagine that? Why can't they try raise funds. They should cut down spending, pay our law makers below half of what they are receiving now, invest the money recovered from corrupt leaders and then diversify the economy. Oil isn't paying so much like before. So why still dwelling on it why can't he just focus on other mineral resources and agriculture? We can export these things and make even more money.
But I wonder why they are not doing all these things. This dollar thing is just temporary, if nothing is done to this economic recession we are in right now, I pray the dollar won't hit up to 500naira.
We can't continue like this. Folding our arms and running after looted funds by corrupt officials. An economic strategy is needed so as to fix this recession.

I called IQAS last night, a young lady answered the call politely, and after explaining to her that my institution sent all my application documents along side with my transcripts, she asked for my file number and I gave it to her. She told me to hold for few seconds and then she apologized for the mix up and thanked me for calling them and confirmed she just saw my transcript in my file. And promised to send me another email stating that they will commence my evaluation immediately and apologized once again. And that was it... Like less than 2 minutes after our conversation over the phone, I received an e mail that they have commenced my evaluation.
I'm so happy and I see that they are very prompt and efficient.

I called my school and they confirmed they put my transcripts in an envelope, and then put the envelope with other documents I sent to them, all into a bigger envelope and sent it to IQAS. I don't think d mistake is from the school. Please how can I write IQAS and when?. Thanks

Maybe its a mistake on IQAS' part. I'd suggest u contact ur school first to verify what was sent, then you can write to IQAS afterwards.

@iphie25, good morning everyone. Pls I'm confused HERE. I sent my supporting documents (passport data page,copy of certificate, check list and so on) to my school and they sent it alongside with my transcripts to IQAS.
I got an email yesterday from IQAS that " Application received. And ONCE THE ACADEMIC DOCUMENTS YOU REQUESTED FROM YOUR INSTITUTION ARRIVE OUR OFFICE WE WILL SEND YOU A SECOND E MAIL AND YOUR FILE WILL BE PLACED IN LINE FOR PROCESSING."
What I'm confused about here is that they have all d documents already sent to them by my institution, my supporting documents inclusive. Why are they still saying they will send me a second mail as soon as they get d transcripts from my school....

Hi everyone, this thread has been so helpful. Thanks to all of you. My sister got a visit visa (2yrs multiple) to US last week. She's actually 7 months pregnant and her husband wants her to go give birth in the US. but the fears they have is that
1)shes 7 months pregnant, will she be allowed to fly?
2)at the point of entry, won't they question her and ask her what she's coming to do? And if f they ask, what can she say, knowing fully well she's 7 months preg
3)if they eventually give her 3 months stay in the us, if she delivers the 3rd month or late 2nd month, I think it will be to early for her to travel back to Nigeria, can her 3months stay be extended by at least a month?
