This can be a guideline to show and determine our CLB. Got this from the CIC website. Hope it's gonna be helpful.

hartson:

I don't know the min CLB required for each band in the case of Manitoba PNP but the 5.5 in L & R is short of expectation as regards the min language CLB required for language ability in general. CLB 7 is 4 points,CLB 8 is 5 points and CLB 9 is 6 points anything less than CLB 7 is 0.Having said so other senior house members may equally throw more light for clarification

After linking your card to your current account, did u activate it for online banking? I will suggest u go to any gtb around u and make a complain. I used my gtb debit atm card, linked to my current account and it worked. Used it to pay for a friend as well and it worked.

bigfido:
still having the same issue. i linked my card to my current account but i still can't make the payment. this is frustrating

I paid for my IQAS using a Gtb Mastercard. I used savings account, but couldn't go through. But later used a Mastercard gtb card linked to my current account and it went through successfully....

You can check the first page of this thread, u will see the detailed step you need to follow. But in summary, u will need to write IELTS (general) test, aim to get high scores and then you do your ECA via WES or IQAS, and then create an express entry profile so as to enter d pool... Other gurus here can add to this...

@jesusdway,thanks for the reply, but knowing fully well that the former company is not in operation anymore, I can't get some documents from them. But I contacted my boss, he said he can write me a letter that will show that I worked with them for 2yrs and that I was an assistant procurement manager. Will that be enough?

Good morning everyone. This is really bothering me. I worked with a company as a sales and purchasing assistant manager between 2011 and 2013(skill type A) . Although the company isn't functioning anymore. But presently, I work as a cashier, (which is skill type C).
I intend claiming points for my previous job, is that going to be possible? And besides, my previous company isn't functioning anymore, but I can manage to get a letter from my former boss, stating that I have worked with the company before.
Please, do you think this will work? And is it possible I neglect the work I have now, as it is just a skill tye c, which can't be used for EE purposes...

@iphie25
So I thought too. And it's written boldly in CIC website that IQAS is recognized.....

quote author=iphie25 post=46927503]

Im wondering how this would be true. Aren't PNPs a part of EE? CIC has approved those orgs so why will other provinces reject them? IQAS is for d uni of Alberta so is ICES and ICAS for govt unis too. Well I didn't go d PNP route so I can't really say.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by muyiwaojo1(m): 6:57pm On Jun 25, 2016
Please how true is this... That IQAS is not Canada wide? I just paid to IQAS for my ECA. And I'm looking at applying to other provinces. Does that mean other provinces other than Alberta, Saskatchewan, and NWT, will reject IQAS??
Please I need to be sure..
Thanks

princey83:

IQAS is for Alberta, Sask, NWT but WES is canada wide.

Congratulations oo. I tap into this success story. God will open doors for the rest of us.

Hi all,

The journey that started last year May has finally come to an end. We finally landed in Canada yesterday. Glory to God as we are now officially Permanent Residents of Canada. Nothing much was asked except if we have new family members and if we have any criminal record. Even POF was not asked.

Want to wish everyone with their applications still in process all the best. For those that are still awaiting ITA and PNP, God will perfect it and finally for those who are contemplating on starting this Canadian PR journey, please start as soon as you can, you have got nothing much to lose.

I will still be on the forum to answer any questions you may have but I won't be able to answer any job related questions as we are only doing short landing. We will be travelling back home in the next few weeks as we are not planning to move to Canada permanently until the next 2 years.

Well, as for me, I sent my signed application form, data page of international passport, completed and signed transcript request form, photocopy of certificate, online payment reciept and the checked check list I printed from IQAS website. Although I gave it all to the school to send alongside with my transcripts, but ofcourse I paid for additional charges.....

Hello, please my wife has MSc and we intend using that to get points. So if we want to evaluate her credentials, do we need to submit her BSc alongside with her MSc, or just her MSc alone....
Secondly, I know a friend that works with the exams and records in my school. He said they will help me process my transcripts, seal and stamp it. And they will give it to me to add other documents like copies of my international passport, certificates and so on, and then send it to IQAS or anywhere my self. I hope that won't be a problem, becauae IQAS said it should be sent by d school. (I intend using FedEx or registered mail by nipost).

quote author=buemene post=46441560]

Hello iPhie25,

I believe you do have a copy of your transcript as it is needed by IRCC when you get ITA. Did you ask school to duplicate when it is ready or applied for it twice? Or since IQAS only ask for photocopies as indicated on the form, did u collect the original and ask the school to send photocopy with their stamp on it?

Thanks a lot for the time.
@iphie25, thanks for always explaining this ECA thing... I'm about paying for IQAS, but I need few explanations.. Pls if u can put me through, I will be very happy. As I don't have a mark sheet requested by IQAS, what should I do. All I have is the certificate and d transcripts that's not ready yet. How do I go about it... Pls my email is muyiwaojo1@gmail.com will be looking forward to hearing from u... Thanks

iphie25:

Yeah you can pay. The fee is 275CAD. Yes you can put otherr documents and forms required in a separate envelope and send to unilag to add and courier together. I did mine dt way.

Hi, please as regards PNP, I'm about going that route as my CRS is 385. I want to know if it's allowed to apply to many province as possible or one will be disqualified if that's done. I'm looking at Manitoba, Nova Scotia and probably new Brunswick all at a time. Is that allowed
Further more, ECA is not out yet. Can I still go ahead with the application for PNP?
THANKS

quote author=dupyshoo post=46407972]As you are yet to receive any nomination, just reply them that you do not have any nominations.
With extra 600 points, it is certain you will receive ITA in the next draw. Once you submit your application, your profile cannot expire and it does not matter if your IELTS expires as well. If you are favoured, you might have received your PPR before September as applicants with PNP are sometimes processed faster than applicants without PNP

Hello everyone, please I need your urgent help. I'm about doing my evaluation via IQAS. Please what steps do I need to follow. Unilag says it will take 6 weeks before it gets to Canada. Can I go online and make payments for IQAS, and how much is it actually. On the website, I saw that d application fee is $200,and courier fee to an address inside Canada is $15 and outside Canada is $75 , does that make it a total of $215 or $275.
Secondly, do I have to make payments online first, and then generate a reference/receipt nunber, and then give the reference/receipt number to unilag to put on my transcripts they are sending to IQAS?
Finally, am I sending a photocopy of my certificate myself or I give it to unilag to add to my transcript and send them all together to IQAS?
I hope I can get a response here ASAP. Thanks and God bless us all....

Hello everyone, please I'm looking at going through the PNP. MY CRS is 386... I want to know if I am qualified to apply for PNP.
Also, how many provinces can I apply to at a time while I'm in d pool.
What province do I have to have a relative or close friend that can nominate me so as to earn more 600 points
And finally, can a relative of a spouse nominate the applicant? For instance, my wife is the PA, can my cousin nominate us?
Thanks and God bless....

Hello everyone, OUR CRS is 384.... Yea, that's not too good... But is it advisable we go through the PNP route? What chances do we have to be nominated so as to get more points... Please advice

Hello everyone, Pls I need an urgent advice here..I and my wife just wrote ielts and d result should be out next week. My wife is going to be the PR because of her age and MSc, I have been planning to go to a school in Canada for msc. Please, I want to know if we can continue with the EE while she's here in nigeria and I will apply for my student visa, which the school will resume September.
Also, what effect will it have if I eventually get admission into the school in Canada by September, and she's still here waiting in d pool for a nomination or something. Does that mean she will apply for the EE as married and hubby not going with her? And how will our son accompany her if she eventually gets THE PR
Pls kindly advice. Thanks.

It is not compulsory. But if u want more points, it's advisable that both of them writes it. So I will advice that they should both write IELTS, so as to get more points.... #myopinion.

iphie25:

sorry for the late reply. it took IQAS 7working days to finish my assessment. you need to download the form they send to u and fill, there's one for your school too, you fill the upper part and send it to ur school, they'll fill in the rest. then you need a clear copy of your degree and int'l passport shikena! fee is cheaper than WES, its 275 CAD and they are fast ehnnn! cheesy

Really, thats impressive. I'm surely gonna use IQAS. 7 working days is so perfect. What's their website and u mean I need a clear copy of my certificate? What if I don't have a certificate yet and all I have is transcript or a letter of to whom it may concern

Oh boy, IQAS all the way. My friend that works with my school said they have replied one of my friends confirmation letter from Wes since last month.,and that my friend claims that Wes said they haven't gotten any mail. We just re sent another confirmation today. I don't think I want to go through that stress of Wes. I'm doing IQAS for sure. Pls how long does it take IQAS to evaluate ones result. What and what do we need to send, is it certificates or transcripts and how much do they charge.... Congrats oo. D packaging looks so beautiful. Lol

Very simple..... Insist on(maximum) 100 per liter, and an increment in salary. This will balance d equation to a reasonable level. A little percentage of the so called subsidy can assist in the salary increment... At least, the subsidy money won't be going to those thieves anymore...

Hello everyone. Please I'm confused about the CRS calculation. They did not ask about the working experience of an applicant spouse here in Nigeria. What they asked for was the working experience of the applicants spouse in Canada. So, does that mean the working experience of my spouse (here in nigeria) is useless and earn no points

She did masters in public and international affairs (MPIA). We havent tried applying for letter of attestation. But if we do that, can we send that to Wes? Can Wes evaluate, using attestation letter from the University?

lavivaavril:

What dept did she finish from? Have you tried applying for Letter of attestation? Certificate can't be ready if she concluded her exams in December
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by muyiwaojo1(m): 1:26am On May 10, 2016
@candykenni, thanks for the advice. If I understand d u well, u are suggesting we do not wait for her MSc transcript... We should just evaluate her BSc and my BSc and then hope to get I to d pool for PNP? And why will the so called almighty unilag delay transcripts and certificate that long... She concluded her final MSc exams last Dec, and till now we don't even have her certificate or transcript or anything... And I was hoping that MSc was gonna be a plus

quote author=candykenni post=45475312]Hellooooooo please dont wait for Unilag transcript ooo especially if you know you wont even make the 450 mark with her masters and great ielts score. My point is make up your mind if you will settle for nomination and be prepared and swift about it. From my experience, i applied for Wes april last year hoping unilag masters transcript would have been ready...... You wont believe the transcript is not ready even after the last convocation. I had to write and call WES several times late last year when i realized my department was very slow about it.

WES removed unilag from my app and then i got into the pool. I was able to apply to provinces for nomination. To the glory of God, i got nominated in December.....extra 600 points which covered d point for masters and saved time

My exact point is... there is no time to even say no time. You have to be swift. A perfect example is the CRS scores cic used as benchmark early this year... we had less than 460 almost twice at the beginning of the year compared to the recent 534.

My BSc transcript is ready though. And lastly, since she's d PA, and with msc, do I need to do my BSc evaluation as well...
