The okro i planted was the dwarf okro that matures in 52 days, all you need is to keep applying them manure every 2 weeks and water them daily, apply your insecticide weekly, and try give them some forliar spray to make their leaves look more healthier, the more green it looks the more nutrient you must have applied to it, okro farming is good when you know the basics, sorry my phone got lost yesterday, will try get a new line to update here soon |
Victornezzar:yea i forgot to show you the gate, even me myself dont like passing through that gate |
Rozz:it does not matter dear, for he is only following the command the lord God has given onto man, kill and eat for i have created all this creatures for you! The lord God never intended for anyman whatsoever to ever go hungry and without food. Thats why he created all this things in abundance for us to choose from, anyways can i have ur contact? feel like knowing you dear, are you really single? Cheers! |
Rozz:do people eat monkeys? Did the lord God state in the bible please do not eat monkeys or anything that look so much as a human, no he did not! But he commanded unto man to eat all flesh except his fellow human like him, i am surprised some of you here are pastors and high ranking church officials, and still yet have forgoten what the lord God has said in the bible, if you are poor and hungry today you are really just been stupid, because if you are truelly hungry you would have gone into the bushes and kill birds, aligators and some wild animals, either you get a catapult or set traps, or even still go get a good hunters gun and go for its licence to use it, you can even be selling them and make your cool cash in the market, if you really have enough traps you can even become a millionaire in a year in this! This things are abundant in this world, and no matter how we keep killing them they will keep on re-producing in abundance so its better the monkey lives a full life to old age and die a waist without been eaten? Thats not right at all, the only sin there is if he leaves animals and birds to go kill his fellow human being, why say all this things when the lord God has commanded us to kill and eat! Am even considering creating bird traps in this pandemic, abeg hungry no go kill me o! Cheers! |
You all oposing this guy dont really read ur bibles very well, in the begining the lord God created the heavens and the earth and gave man dominion over all the fishes of the sea and animals of the land, he gave all this things to man as food! You will also read in the bible kill and eat for i have made all this things food for you! Even snakes and cats are foods talkless of a monkey, there is nothing like he has killed his own brother or he will surely have the mind to kill a human being, he is only following the comandments the lord God gave onto man, ok what if this corona virus have made this world unbearable and there is shortages of foodstuff worldwide? What will you all do? Is it to Keep on staring at birds and lizards or bush meats? Saying i can not eat all that! I swear hungry will kill you for you have failed to obey the lords command, for he said i have given you all this for food. Kill and eat! Cheers! |
Victornezzar:that is really true bro, but when aboki mallams where the first to have acquired the whole place what do you expect? An aboki if given the chance will even farm on the main express road where vehicles are passing, just to tell you how not calculative all this mallams are, but if you are talking about tractors and a way for manure bags to come in, there is another way i forgot to show you, its where those security men are been mounted just to tell you the place is secured! You will have to talk to them to open up the big gate for you so you can easily transport anything inside and outside of the farm! But if you wait on aboki to help clear and make a path road where even thier barrows will pass, thats a lie o! If given the chance there wont have been anywhere we will even use to enter the farmland, everywhere would have been occupied with plants LOL! cheers! |
Victornezzar:sorry i slept off, but bro if they are 2 months old now, i would have been on harvest by now, dwarf okro matures for harvest in just 2 months, i said i got the farmland just last month, the process of clearing, making boreholes and getting the irrigation system waisted much of the time, today i will look for who to clear down the place and some days later will look for who to do the beds, then some days later will look for who to do half of the farmland beds, some other days again will still look for another to complete the whole beds remaining, running around to get dwarf okro seeds, went down to agric complex to negotiate if i can cut down prizes of buying the manure bags but had issues on transportation because no driver will want to carry dirty poultry waiste in his motor down to ur farm, the prize just did not worked! passengers will complain, ran around again to get sprinkler irrigation, then called for a plumber who delayed because he had another work to do at that period of time, but in all this happening i was always going to the empty farmland as at then every single day to see what i can add to it, also there was a time there was like 7 different road blocks with different forces mounting there, from the police to the soldiers and to agberos, to one other boys scout group too, and lastma even maybe customs all this happened in the period when lockdown and corona virus issues where very much hot. Had it been there was no lockdown i would have gotten all the things i needed for the farm at ease, that is why i have prayed that the lord will not make us to go into things we have been poundering to do for a long time when its too late, thats just my prayer here for everyone! And in all this there was no commercial bus running as at then, i was just flying bikes up and down and spending much on transportation, a place that would have taken me just 100 naira to go took me 300 naira then, and some time the bike man will turn around to take another road since he has sighted all this soldiers sizing people bikes, it was really stressfull then just to get all this in a period there was really a serious lockdown, only had the chance to plant just last 2 weeks! Hmm it shall be well, because i never gave up rather than staying idle and doing nothing at home. I could have even choosing to be playing football in my streets with my fellow friends, but i just choosed not to! I really loved football so much but i just have to sacrifice and leave it for just this project cheers! |
Hmm

Hi
|
Yampotatocarrot:yea thanks for your opinion, anyways my current okro plants are 2 weeks now, in a month or so will upload pictures of my first commercial harvest. Its good to be good, but you really need to know this is lagos and everything vegetables sells, just come and take a look in my area here to see prizes of vegetables, you will keep on wondering is it not this same vegetable that i see everyday in the farm that is been sold this costly? Although will upload more pics when the time comes i never knew this yellow nsuka pepper is hot cake here in lagos i stoped water leaf farming because of its low prize in market, if every vegetable is to sell at 100 per piece then you will see that same size of water leaf for just 50 naira, just to tell you its not that lucrative, only to be added in the farm to help you generate money to be fuelling the generator and some other farm expenses! Or else you can plant water leaf in a big acres of land or move down to akwa ibom to make a kill in it there! cheers! |
Please do you stay in lagos where one can easily access the ugu seeds? How much do you sell a paint bucket of ugu seeds? |
To me farming is just a normal business but at the same time an investment, for example you bought a land for farming today and as of next 5 to 10 years the land value increases so also your production in farming, to me they can be somehow called a business and still be an investment cheers! |
Riverville:ok thats nice! But Please greet mr oluchidelly for me o! Cheers |
Victornezzar:LOL! Never knew my name has been converted to 2chains. Cant just stop laughing here! I dont have a water leaf farm o! Cheers! |
Yampotatocarrot:i dont have a water leaf farm o! Cant guarantee myself on water leaf because am not really used to it, but water leaf is one of the fastest and easiest crops to grow and make money, it grows to harvest in just 3 weeks. Once you apply manure and keep watering it daily then you are in for a bumper harvest. but the prize of it made me to back out. It requires large space for planting too! But this your name yampotatocarrot keeps making me think of growing yams, potato and carrot Maybe i will consider planting them later too! LOL! Cheers! |
Pavore9:LOL! No i dont mr pavore9, i only have just an okro farm currently running now! i only said i needed investors on water leaf and was thinking about doing it commercially, but no one showed interest so i changed to just only okro for now the only thing i did was to do a pilot test after going to visit bigger water leafs farm of a lady i know of here in lagos, her farm do supply straight to mile 12, ketu, and oyingbo markets. i only planted a little in my compound alongside my little okro farm then, i came back one day from work only for it to have been eaten by my neighbours including my ewedu leafs. I only planted a few in my compound then but i dont really know if with 2 kobo in naira travel down to kenya to see you face to face sir! Someone even told me with just 2 kobo in naira i can really travel down to kenya and have fun as much as possible, i can even contest to be the president of kenya because my 2 kobo will be too much to spend there! LOL! Indeed Kobo ideas has made me reason more kobo's Never mind, I really do admire your vertical bag farming a lot sir, you are indeed one of my mentors, used to watch your vidoes on vertical farming! I still even have them here in my laptop that will be saved forever! See you soon in kenya! cheers! |
This is nice! But where exactly is your farmland? Its good to see them flourish just as a fellow farmer? I pray you will surely reap the fruit of your labour amen! Cheers! |
Idemu joseph you seem to look familiar, oh my God bro its you! But why did you not tell me you were on nairaland? I just know its you! Indeed keeping a low profile is key. Your trust on me is one of a kind. Even though we are not even related at all! as for the cucumber biz. You could have called me to come help you in the marketing aspect, the thing about inter state farming is this! In any state you visit as a farmer try and know what sells best there. In yoruba land water leaf are been regarded as grass or weeds, but in calabar water leaf is a pure gold there! In igbo land they dont seem to eat much of okro but they like ugu leaf! But in lagos okro sells well, so also you are to find out what sells well in the north incase you move up there! Its just a basic thing for you to know what vegetable that sells well in a particular state or place. But am sure cucumber will sell in any place! But bro when will you come back to lagos again. Our long journey to ogun state last year was indeed hectic. Dont really know if you still have the number of that land agent man that showed us around. I seem to like him! He is straight forward but his prizes for lands are just too cost! This place in lagos i have now is good but not really big enough for expansion! All thanks to you am now in business, but you know real farming starts from acres of farmlands! I will make sure not to fail you mr joseph, Cheers! |
Please dont put me on a panic mode! My investors are humans too like me! Its not really easy to stand in the sun from morning till evening when you see other farmers going home. I am supposed to be on a lockdown staying at home like others! But i choosed to suffer my skin just to make my reality work out well. Mr ibeju lekki epe and co calling my2chains! I say thank you, my rich niggar dream did inspire you all and you want to also partake in that dream too! when the time is right we will run business together. Surely we will smile to bank together! please i am just too young to have any lawyer case for now cheers!

Shout out to all my fans! I pray that you get bigger! Cheers!
