Even the bible states that the isrealites were not faithful to one God. Hence the reason why God was always punishing them.

Whilst i was praying fervently & ferociously,suddenly fell to the ground & starting hearing a voice in my head; 'let the bodies hit the floor,let the bodies hit floor aahh let the bodies hit the floor'. I only asked a question which requires a yes or no answer. I don't understand why you have to start throwing insults.

Evil Brain: When I was a kid, this was one of my first clear clues that Christianity was a crock of bullshít. The tongues people were speaking were clearly just gibberish. And I never once heard anybody speak in a real, known language, which is what Acts of the Apostles was clearly talking about.

I kept looking for someone who'd start speaking Cantonese or some other foreign tongue. Instead, all I kept hearing was "rabababa mamamama shokoraba" Even a 10 year old can tell the difference between a strange language and gibberish.

How other Christians fail to realize this is beyond me. None are so blind as those who refuse to see.

You cannot say that someone is speaking rubbish just because what you can hear is gibberish, let God be the judge after all it is him we are trying to communicate with. I remember the first day I ever spoke in tongues. I told God that I don't want to talk rubbish but that he should make me know that it is indeed from him. I remember we were told to lift up our hands and just talk to Jesus, while I was saying thank you Father for a beautiful day and so on, suddenly a very powerful but light wind/force pushed me to the ground, I started rolling and when I opened my mouth to say you are the alpha and the omega a different language came out. It felt as if my tongue was loosed and I started talking I kept on speaking in this strange language for over an hour. If I try to speak in English, a different language will come out

Willy7: As a christian and active worshiper,i've witnessed and most times experienced the diverse gifts of the Holy Spirit as listed in 1 cor.12:7-12,but i'm yet to even see one person manifesting the gift of interpretation of tongues recorded in the verse 10 of the said chapter.I'm having the thought that after the pentecost,such gift never existed again.Today we hear so many kinds of tongues been spoken,but nobody interprets or can tell what its been spoken,not even the speaker.And this leaves me with the question,Have you ever seen or witnessed this gift in operation before? I speak in tongues by the grace of God and I can interpret what I'm saying. Speaking in tongue is for you to communicate with God in the spirit, more like a secret language between you and God. This is because the devil does not know what you are saying when you speak in tongues.

John the baptist is in heaven> Jesus made that statement because John the baptist doubted him> today before you can give your life to Christ you have to believe in Jesus Christ as your lord and personal saviour. So can you see what Jesus meant when he said the least person in Heaven is greater than John the Baptist

Babylon is in either Iraq or Iran i'm not too sure, besides peter's ministry was concentrated in Jerusale. Paul was the one that spread the Gospel in Rome along with some other missionaries that went with him

I dont see how John doubted Jesus. He had not met Jesus so he simply sent his disciples to Jesus to ask if He is the messiah.

John the baptist was Jesus' cousin so he knew about Jesus, he was also aware of his purpose on earth (to prepare the way for Jesus) fore runner of Christ. he already met Jesus when he baptized him.

If you are truly born again, God will give you a born again sister if u ask him. If you are not then you are on your own, you cannot sow corn and expect to reap gold. God cannot be mocked, you get what you deserve

if you read luke chapter 7 vs 18 you will see it then also read luke 7 vs 28

There are more than 144,000 peoplle in heaven. John the baptiste made heaven but because he started to doubt that Jesus was the messaih Jesus said he will be the least in heaven

I really don't understand the joke. what's so funny? I pray we never experience a hurricane in Nigeria, without light plus the extreme weather condition those people were exposed to. The problem with us Nigerians is that we think we have seen a lot when compared to other countries because our country is bad. please let us continue to thank God that we have not experienced a hurricane or even a tornado in our country cos if what happened in america should come near Nigeria we all know it will be bloody.

Rocktation: Well, acceptance should be in order cos what is done, cannot be altered. The man is a perv, so what? If you had known better, you would have done better. Life hands us both sides of the coin and we've got to take them both. So learn from this as carefree has suggested, and know that you're stronger than before. And unless you always want to be broken, do not wait for a guy to make you feel valuable. That is something you owe yourself . Just know your worth and who you are. Jesus is the way the truth and the light. so only through Jesus can we go to Heaven, if we accept him as our lord and savior. After accepting him we study his word so that we can be more like him and manifest the gifts of the spirit, being love, joy peace, patience, including speaking in tongues

Thank you I read nairaland religion's section almost everyday, and i feel very sad and atimes angry when i see the blasphemous words people use against God and men of God. Jesus Loves everyone of us and wants us all to repent. so please let us cleanse our hearts of all iniquity and follow the master Jesus.

Some people even resort to throwing insults and using terrible words just to make their points and I wonder if that is meant to make others convert to atheism or drive them away.

I'm very sure each and everyone of us will naturally be drawn to anybody that loves us and that is why we should seek Jesus daily because his love is eternal, everlasting and unconditional

we can only be saved through Jesus Christ the most High King. We need to repent and turn away from all form of sins, be it judging other people and men of God's faith, bad mouthing people bearing Grudges, blaspheming, unforgiveness, we need to Crucify our flesh. For with God all things are possible.

Jesus said seek ye first the Kingdom of God and everyother thing shall be added unto you be it peace, happiness, joy, rest, prosperity, glory of God, the anointing of God as well.

but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patience), Kindness, Goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control;against such there is no law (GALATIANS 5:22-23)

Is this person still your friend. i.e still a friend or now an enemi in other words a frenemy
