Matters of the heart are sacred and peculiar to individuals regardless of your callings - be it Man of God or whatever. That Pastor Kumuyi got married 18 months after the death of his wife only shows his personality as it relates to the "matter of the heart", it does not necessarily means it is wrong for him to do so. And come to think of it, talk is cheap. Many of us condemning the man have no idea of what we are capable of doing when confronted with a similar situation as his; and that someone waits for 4 years and another two years or decided to remain unmarried, is an individual's decision that should be respected with no apology to anyone. |
One good news in our polity in recent time. Congratulations to Gov Kayode Fayemi and D.Gov Funmi Olayinka and the good people of Ekiti state for the victory. Shame to bad people!!!! |
Yes o! Fayemi is now the governor of Ekiti state. At last, justice had prevailed |
It is only in Nigeria that a fellow like IBB who should be spending the rest of his life in jail, will have the audacity to want to become the president despite the havoc he wrecked on this country. IBB is demonic, maintain distances away from him; OBJ is not a saint, he is quite vindictive but largely misunderstood. |

@ poster It takes a naughty fellow to come here and proclaim that an insane man is making sense. God that determines the case of Abacha is still working |
This is quite inspiring. She is following the foot step of my mother who though lack formal education but died a multi-million in real estate she left behind. Hard work pays but we need God to show us our callings so we don't wander in another man's field. |
May his soul rest in peace. Sadly, Turai and her cohorts had eroded all the sympathy he would have garnered |
This is a classical example of the awesomeness of God. Congratulations! |
mam-gee, you beat them all to it, you are the winner. Please don't stop the noise, it makes you "hot" on nairaland. |
Power has changed hands, so Ibori who is one of the biggest thieves in the country should be made to face the law of the land. When the cup of the other corruption leaders is full, they would be brought to book by another "power that be". The stage is set for Ibori, let him come out and do the dancing. |
What a waste! RIP |
Poster and his cohorts, I beg make una wake up!!!! What kind of joke and propaganda is this? Jonathan a miracle man? Light has improved? Is this suppose to be "April fool" in the middle of the month? Electricity has been a mirage in many areas I am familiar with in Lagos. Let's not deceive Jonathan, propaganda will not give him true picture of situation of things that matter most to Nigerians. |
Happy Easter to everyone. Do enjoy the season |
@ Folarina I could be your client someday, but the manner at which you dodge the question on the airline for the promo, leave much to be desired. It does not show a pious business concern. |

@ dgb4, thanks |

Attention seekers!!!! heeeheee!!!! |
Bought my econet 22k and MTN 24k in 2001 |
The guy work tirelessly for his new position. He sure deserves it. |
Replacing the former with the latter is a swift move by Goodluck Jonathan to give his 'government' some sort of credibility. Though the new guy's pedigree is relatively unknown, Aondoankaa was a malady we needed to get rid off quickly as a nation to move forward |
This is a hoax designed to further complicate the issue and polarize the system. They do not have such power - legally or constitutionally without a written declaration from Yar’adua? Shouldn’t they rather impeach the man for failing to do the right thing so we can move forward? This confirmation is fraudulent, and will sure create another legal stalemate. |
It depends on the mood and the feeling. It could be once, twice, thrice and on, in a day |
Lawyer, thank you so very much for your educative information. I know you have said you don't want to get involve in the property along Mowe / Ibafo axis. But please what would u advise or recommend, I will be checking up a property (precisely land) advertised on nairaland by Way and Life Concept at Ijere Ibafo along the Lagos Ibadan Expressway. Again, has anyone in the house transact business with the company before? They seem to have alot of offers advertised. |
It is not a must. but it is good. From experience, it promotes unity, intimacy, friendship and effective communication among couples. |
Hello HR pros in the house! I'm really pissed up with my current job and seriously considering quitting. I have spent 6years on the same position while doing the bulk of the assignment with some other persons take the 'glory'. I plan to walk up to the HR manager to express my feeling and the decision to quit if nothing changes What could be the likely implication of this move, positively or negatively. |
Yahoo Nairaland ThisDay online Punch online |
The fear of the unknown heightens by the Nigerian hostile business environment makes some of us still wandering in the slavery camp call salary job where ones life is being controlled by another and where you are never expected to be rich no matter how attractive the pay is. The truth is that there should be a stage in the life of someone when you need to set up and manage a business of your own. |
Punch has records of insensitivity and misbehaviour as a business entity. There was a time they became a pain in the neck for vendor with the rejection of unsold copies. Also was a time when when they were giving advertisers hassles because of their popularity. I think they should just watch it and be careful with the way they come up with policies so that they don't run themself out of business through their folly. No newspaper is too big to collapse - Daily Times is a classical example |
talknafree:Seconded! It becomes idle talk when you start to complain about someone else source of wealth without concrete evidence and fact. Such position doesn't allow for growth for individual |
