Churches have become business centers in this part of the world. It isn't compulsory for you to use a church or mosque for your wedding. The Nigeria constitution recognises any of the three types of wedding. If you've done the traditional wedding, you don't need to go to any church again. If you've gone to the registry, you don't need the other two again. We are the one giving ourselves unnecessary trouble.

To clarify, the Nigerian constitution Recognizes the three , if u decide to do the traditional marriage only ,u must make sure u document it at a magistrate court(most people don't).
If u marry at a registry, then u marriage is recognized by the government and certain rules will be applied .(can't marry more than one woman, without a proper divorce from the court)
Once u do the court ,church wld simply become church blessing cos the church wld not issue a certificate Becos the of ur court wedding.not all churches are licensed to issuse marriage certificates.
So bro tell ur friend to save his money and do his trad and court ,wedding and if he still wants he can go with his close family to the ladies church for church blessing.

I will try and give my own opinion on the matter by asking questions as well as by answering some
1-is there a difference in the creation of man that occurred in genesis chpter 1and the one that happened in chapter 2
My answer is yes, God created beings in chapter 1 and gave them the right to multiply, be fruitful,have dominion and to subdue the earth. But adam was formed to take care of the care of eden only, eve came about as an after thought when GOd saw that adam need companion bt instead of giving adam a woman,GOd formed
animals for them to be companions for adam bt when GOd saw that they were not suitable for adam,he then formed eve from adam.

Adam was formed by GOd to be, remain and take care of the garden,If he had not sinned,he would have remained in. The garden .

Adam was special becos when he was formed,God breathe into him his breathe that's y adam had a genealogy that connected him to God and through him the geneolgy of the men of GOd ,noah,abaraham etc.

Cain killed abel, GOd banished him bt he was afriad that anyone cld kill him, meaning there where other men like him around.

Adam and eve had cain and abel, after abel was killed, it took many yrs before the had another child seth, which explains eve's gratitude to GOd. So cain cld not have married his sister cos he did have any at that point in time. After seth, eve gave birth to more kids both male and female.

My submission is that adam was the first man GOd created that had a relationship with GOd,bt he was not the first human to be created.

WAS ADAM THE FIRST BEING CREATED OR DID GOD CREATE HUMANITY BEFORE ADAM
While helping my mom with bible study preparation, i had to read up genesis chapters 1 and 2. Chapter 1verses 1-25 tells us how God created the universe, the light and creatures of the sea and land etc. Then in verse 26-28 it says that God created man in his image and his likeness, he created them male and female (nkjv) and blessed them saying subdue the earth, be fruitful, multiply and have dominion. Some translations say God created human beings and made them males and females. After this in chapter 2 verse 3 it says God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it he rested from all his work he created and made. Notice that i bolded the word created, in my opinion i think it means that God spoke and things(thoughts of his mind) came to pass.

Going further into chapter 2 ,we are told of how God formed man from the soil and breathed into him his breath and he became a living being (genesis 2 verse 7).in verse 8 of the same chapter, it says that God then planted a garden eastward of eden and placed the man whom he had formed there.
Verse 9 says out of the ground, God made every tree grow in eden that was pleasant to sight and good for food including the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

God then noticed that man was lonely and decided to make him a helper comparable to him. But notice that God did not make a woman for him immediately but instead formed animals(beasts of the fields and birds of the air) from the ground in eden(genesis chpt 2v19) and after adam named the animals, there still wasn’t a comparable helpmate for him amongst the animals that God had formed, so God caused man to sleep and from his body a rib was taken and from it a woman was made/formed.

From chapter 2 it shows that adam was not created as written in chapter 1 but was formed(to make something from something) from soil/ground/earth. And unlike the creation that took place in chapter 1, Adam had the mind of God( the breath of God was in him)and that God’s plan for Adam was to dwell permanently in eden and take care of it if he had not sinned and God sent him out to the world.
In chapter 5 of genesis, it starts to describe the descendants/genealogy of adam but also introduces the creation that took place in chapter 1v26
This is the book of the genealogy of adam .In the day that God created man ,he made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female and blessed them and called them mankind(humanity in some translations)in the day they were created.
If the order of creation is to be followed as it was in genesis chapter 1, man was the last thing to be created but in genesis chapter2 man was created before animals after which eve was created

My questions thus are as follows

Were adam and eve the same folks that the bible says were created in genesis chapter 1 verse 26

How possible could it have been for just 2 people to populate the earth so quickly if there hadn’t been other beings that were created as full adults, blessed and given the ability to procreate. This could also explain the mystery of the woman that cain married when he became a wanderer

Did God actually stop all work after the sixth day or did God rest on the seventh day and after that planted the garden, formed man and woman and animals and birds of the air, the trees including that of knowledge of good and evil.

hi, saw the post quite late i wld say, bt all the same make i ask. i have a honda accord 99 model, had issues with my front passsenger side tire and had to change shaft and bearings etc, not sure what the mechanic didnt do well bt since the change the car would jerk when put either in reverse or drive. and when driving, would drag(rpm wld rise) before jerking into the next gear. another mechanic said that shaft change wasnt properly done bt that the problem would fix itself gradually and that i need to change my gear oil becos it got burnt( did a change some mnths back after my cousin put abro to top the gear oil, and i used honda DW1 and its expensive) so i want to use dexron 111 this time around for some mnths before i gather money to get DW1 cos Z1 seems scare. now my questions

is the mechanic right with respect to the issues fixing itself)
