Most of these bullets come from irresponsible officers with guns who shoot into the air indiscriminately and either forgetting or not realizing that what goes up must come down, so the bullet goes up and after some time travels down in any direction with enough speed to penetrate a body or any object. |

Sterope: It could have been an omission on his part. No one is perfect. If he didn't bother, he clearly didn't think twice of HER CONTRIBUTION when he asked her to pack out.
You may be older than me but I know that men have asked their wives to pack out for something less than a word or two. They use as an instrument of control and blackmail. Besides, it is very condescending, arrogant and selfish to ask your wedded partner to pack up and leave like a fhucking guest. I really don't want to know what happened. I don't care! Do you know how fhucking long it took her to move in? No wonder men are scared to live in their wive's house. You can't bear to go through what you put women through because you own a fhucking house, do you? Hypocrite much? :-Disrespect or not, what should a woman do when her husband disrespect her? poison him or ask him to leave if she happens to own the house? Because I really don't understand what could justify asking your partner to pack out like a guest.
This is the same man that is now insisting on being the sole bearer. It sounds to me like a man who likes to control by fire or by force.
You think it is great to chase out a partner. I don't think it is. I don't care what could have happened. If you have a problem, you sort it out or you could make arrangements. You just don't ask your partner to pack out or throw their properties out! Am so loving ur perspective on this matter and and answers to followup questions. Are you married that curious |

Sterope: HEseesall
You and your husband had an agreement but somthing came up. His dad was sick and he could not go ahead with what you have agreed on. Your husband did not spend the money on parties, he spent it on father's sickness. Your story and action make it seem like you are more concerned about him not keeping to the agreement than the reason he broke it off.
Lucky for him, he didn't spend all the money on his father's sickness. He added the remainder to the building of the house which means he should have a share of the property. However you chose not to amend the title documents even though he also contributed. Why? Well, you were wrong to do that. You would have hated him if it were you.
It is sad your husband has appeared to be very selfish, arrogant, illogical and immature. His subsequent reactions have trumped yours. A husband who is comfortable to ask his family to pack put because he can do so or because his name is on the title document is wicked. You are fortunate that your name was on the title document. That action appears to justify and nullify your bad behaviour. With a man like that, you are very lucky.
You have done well to want to amend the title document to reflect his contribution. Don't let him use seperation and divorce to blackmail you into using his sole name. It is a wicked and selfish idea. His actions have proved that you will regret it if it is in his name only. I wish you the best. I hope it works out between you two. A well balanced reply ma, apportioning blames rightly to both parties. Like u said "I hope it works out between you two". Trust has already been broken. |

Koolking: Mourinho is not a good coach. He was seemingly successful because he was leveraging on financial and manpower prowess of topflight clubs in the world. Interestingly, he's finding it difficult to win games now because football has changed. There are a lot talents in every football clubs now. He doesn't have the managerial skills to harness talents. He doesn't develop potential talents, he builds himself around big names, already made players.
If he goes back to club like Porto, he won't exceed first round in Champions League. He has nothing to offer. He will wreck ManUtd and leave feeling like a superman. I disagree with you. He was a good coach who took European football by storm with his tactical knowledge of the game nd his ability to get the best out of his players. but now he doesn't want to admit that that style of football is dead and buried.that's his albatross. |

Acidosis: If you can give your man sex because he spent N700k on aso ebi, groundnuts, palm oil, goats, etc., then should as well give him sex when he buys you an iPhone. Religious factors are the major reasons women deny men of sex. So a woman can decide to wait until she meets her religious obligations. It is her choice.
However, what I'm saying to ignorant minds like yours is this: that thing you call traditional marriage is a total waste of time, because it is not recognized. If I spend 700k on your bride price today, I can wake up tomorrow denying ever meeting you. You don't have any proof apart from the unrecognized photoshop pictures and empty bottles of ogogoro and goats. Guy calm down, ur blood too dey hot, Traditional marriage is recognized in Nigeria, I do agree that if u stop at only the Traditional marriage rites ,then you are subject to the laws governing it. But to outrightly throw it away is a no no. No church in Nigeria even the firebrand ones will perform church marriage until you have done ur trad, dat in itself speaks volumes. the question is can one have sex after trad marriage, I believe is yes if u decide to wait till u finish all other ceremonies, agree with your partner. |

Crime › Re: We Were Forced To Have Sex With Men While On Our Periods - Trafficking Victim by myk2mic: 1:46pm On Mar 12, 2018 |
Yuneek: A Nigerian victim of human trafficking has narrated the harrowing ordeal they suffered in the hands of their principals.
The victim, whose name was not revealed, shared her story in Bein City, Edo State during a Roundtable on Migration and Human Trafficking organised by the Nigerian Senate.
The victim who is now married and expecting a baby with her husband stated that she was 19 when she was trafficked from Edo State to Russia and forced into prostitution for two years.
She said: “They told me I was going into prostitution for six months.
“I was going there to make money to further my education. “We had to sleep with different kinds of men. It was on the street. We were standing on the road.
“She (my madam) would say no (we can’t stop work), there is a tissue she used to give to us to block it (the menstruation). She does not allow us to stay at home.
“We paid our madam for food, clothes, and also contributed money for the house rent. We bought the condoms ourselves.”
On the number of clients and money she made in a day, the victim said: “It depends…. Sometimes, six, seven or eight clients. “1,000 rubles per client (about 6,120 naira). For an entire day, you could make 10,000 rubles, if you are lucky you could make 15, 000.”
She narrated how she was often assaulted by men and also arrested and detained for days by the police.
“I was beaten up and raped by four men. They even urinated on me when I asked them to pay me.
“I didn’t care to report to the Russian authorities that I was raped. Apart from the fact that I didn’t have a proof, I thought they won’t believe me since I was a prostitute.”
The victim said she eventually decided to quit prostitution, and was able to escape to Nigeria without her international passport through the help of a Nigerian she identified as “Mr. Ken”.
But before then she was able to pay her “madam” $15,000 out of the $50,000 she was expected to pay in order to buy back her freedom in Russia.
Reacting to the confession, the British Deputy High Commissioner in Nigeria, Laure Beaufils, said at the roundtable that “4000 to 6000 times, some Nigerian girls are forced to have sex with strangers for the rest of their lives.”
The Senate president, Bukola Saraki, thanked the victims for sharing their experiences which he said would help the government take steps towards tackling human trafficking.
Saraki said the Senate was ‘losing sleep’ over irregular migration and human trafficking in the country, and that as representatives of the people, “they are determined to tackle the problem.”
He said, “Nigeria currently ranks 23 on the Global Slavery Index of 167 countries with the highest number of slaves.
“Human trafficking is third in the ignoble hierarchy of the commonly occurring crimes in Nigeria, according to UNESCO.
“Nigeria accounts for the world’s highest number of irregular migrants going through the Agadez Route. Our citizens represent the fifth largest number of migrants crossing the Mediterranean Sea into Europe.
“The number of Nigerian females arriving in Italy alone increased 600-fold in just three years. 10,000 Nigerians are estimated to have lost their lives on the perilous journey in five months of last year alone.
“We have seen the bleak images of coffins of 26 Nigerian girls, who were laid to rest in Italy last November. This is what brings us today to ancient Benin.”

Koolking: When a system in place is not working, there is always a need to restructure and revamp. Lawma/PSP was not working at a point. Most of the private sector participants were in the habit of dumping trash from their trucks at unauthorised dumpsite thereby creating more environmental problems.
I guess, the recent wanton dirt in Lagos is as a result of transition from the former operators to the new waste managers (Visionscape to be exact). Complete transition will take a while. I believe the situation will be addressed. I believe the new system will be better however.
Meanwhile, you can call the new operators to clear pile up trashes around your area FREE of charge. I personally tried it, in less than 24hours the heap of trash was cleared in my area.
We should not complain and condemn every system put in place without profferring any solution. Sometimes, our creative input would help ameliorate situations. Patience is a virtue.
