Good evening Nairalanders. My Biometrics appointment is tomorrow at Victoria Island Center but due to work related issues, I will not be attending my appointment. Can I still reschedule my appointment as it is less than 24 hours? Does this have a negative implication? I will appreciate response from those who have experience this. |

Hello NL, Has anyone been referred to do a sputum test for TB at IOM? Please how long does it take to get result and the TB certificate after the test. |

Dear NL, I did my TB test yesterday and I was subjected to further test as they claimed the outcome of my test result is not clear for them to take a decision. The worst is that the further test result will not be available until about between 6 to 8 weeks. I don't know if anyone has experienced this before. 4 Likes |

I sent fidelity bank statement to my school (Teesside) for my POF . My school has in turn sent a mail to fidelity to confirm the authenticity of the statement and put me in copy of the mail. It has been 3 days now, fidelity bank is yet to respond. Does anyone has experience with fidelity bank in Statement confirmation and how I go about it to get them confirm promptly. 1 Like |

It is very simple. Take for example, if your maintenance fee is £5,000 and balance of your tuition fee is £3,000, this means you are expected to show £8,000 in your POF before the school issue your CAS right. If you have converted this amount (£8,000) to Naira using the prevailing exchange rate on day 1 and deposit it into your account but along the line before the end of the 28 days exchange rate moved up which means that your POF won't be sufficient anymore and you will be required to deposit additional funds to meet up with the new rate and start counting your 28 days over again. Instead of doing this, you have the option of looking for funds elsewhere and pay part of your tuition balance to your school. Let say you paid £2,000 to your school. You will now be required to show proof of funds for £8,000 -£2,0000= £6,000 and your school would have updated your records to reflect the additional payment. In this case you will not need to add additional funds to your existing POF and your existing 28 days will still stands. But the same logic might not hold for visa application if your CAS has already been issued by your school. Optimally: 8 Likes |

It is through a Skype video call. You will be called at your appointed time. The questions are not structured. Just to examine your listening skills and how you can flow during conversation. In my own case, I was asked the following questions: 1: why Teeside University? 2, why studying Accounts and Finance? 3, Talk about your memorable Journey you have ever embarked on? 4, What are the things you wish Nigeria government should improve on the transportation system.. It is an interactive session. Not really a difficult one. I was a bit nervous before the interview but the flow was ok as the interview progressed. I scored 80 for listening, 80 for speaking at the end. georgesegun87: 3 Likes 2 Shares |

I had my English Language Proficiency Interview today with Teeside University. I received my results shortly afterwards and my unconditional admission offer almost immediately. I was required to pay 4k pounds deposit to secure my slot. Now that I am contemplating paying within next week, I will be glad if any Teeside University current or past students can shed more light on the prospect of attending the school. |

Good morning house, I secured an admission to teeside University for September 2019 which I have to defer to fall 2020. My issue now is that I have substantial part of my tuition amd maintenance fees in treasury bill which matures July2020, Will it be fine to apply for my Visa close to the maturity of the TB investment or will i need to wait for the funds to mature and still count another 28 days before applying. |

Dear NL Family, my study permit application was denied early June, I have immediately ordered for my gcm note and defer my admission to fall 2020. Having gotten my new offer letter for the fall 2020, Will it be reasonable to re-apply in July 2019 for fall 2020 intake. |

Good evening NL, my application was refused yesterday based on the ground that the vo is not satisfied that I will leave Canada at the end of my stay.i believe it is only a delay and not denied. To the best of my knowledge and ability, I perfected my application based on the knowledge gained from this forum from thread 12 to 15. I would not have done more than what I did earlier as 1, I have sufficient funds in my account. 2, my home tie is my wife and two kids which I included there birth certificate and travel history to uk on several occasions. 3, evidence of landed properties and government consents. 4, Employment letter, letter of introduction from work, study leave agreement duly notorised and sealed. Promotion letters, work ID card, tax clearance card, 5, cac documents and certificate of incorporation for family business oversea by my wife with the company SOA. 6, pension statements of accounts, 7, term insurance statement of account. But I guess what might have gone wrong is that my school included my previous academic qualifications on my offer letter which I submitted as part of my application to include : BSc Economics MBA and MSc Risk management and insurance while am now pursuing MA Economics. Although I took time to tackle the reason for the MA having obtained MSc previously in my Sop. While waiting for my gcm note to specifically tackle the reason for the delay, I sincerely thank all the Gurus on this forum for their sefless and indifatigable efforts in helping out as at when needed. In fact, there is no better place to gain TRV knowledge than this forum. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Good day NL family, I have just received my I 20 and I am supposed to travel alone but my wife has insisted that we go together with the kids. I have informed my school of my decision and they requested that I show proof of funds for additional 16k usd before another I20 will be issued to include my family member. I have 11 million in my account which I have used to obtain the initial I20. The only fund available now is my mum treasury bill investment of circa 15m naira. My worries is that I am in my early 40's, will it sound nice to the school and the VO to be sponsored by aged parent considering my age and family status |

Good evening NL, I applied for visitor's visa last year which I was denied. While applying for my f1 visa today, I tried to retrieve my previous ds 160 used for the visiting visa but to no avail so I had to fill a new ds 160 all over again . My problem is that after making payment and scheduling an interview, I found out that my interview confirmation page is showing the previous ds 160 application number. How can I correct this error to have the current ds 160 application ID. |

Good evening house. I am considering applying for my student visa, I am married with 2 kids but I will be applying alone. Can someone who is currently studying in any of the USA universities advise on the possibility of postgraduate work permit, family re-union during or after graduation and settlement plan in the state at the end of graduate program. This is needed to aid my application decision. Unto God. |

I approached him that day and gave Me his SOA the next day) and my parent weren't financially buoyant at all.. I just used what I saw on Google and CIC website to apply o. So when I started reading post here about the nairobi guys, home ties, third party sponsor...I was so damn scared , I lot hope already, I was just waiting for a refusal sef so I can reapply better and in peace, because the tension ehh no be here o. A big thank you to @ Qudkom @ makano for your advice. @Dmerciful my personal VO ,i worried him as if he was the VO handling my application o..lol, he advised me to send another SOA (mine and my elder brother)via web form and mail to them even after getting biometric correspondence mail. thanks for your support and prayers only God can repay you. Above all i thank God almighty for his favour and grace. I fasted and prayed earnestly, and God almighty manifested .
