obayaya: Ngige that runs around like a political ashawo.. gubernatorial to senatorial... he's just a hungry short manBecause he unlike Obi needs politics money to survive, lol. He is a full time Nigerian politician. |
biafranqueen: At least we can mention what has already been reported. Why pay billions of dollars in cash for the Abuja shopping complex? Why does your brother get caught with millions at the Corporate office of Next. How did his brother in the states Francis all of a sudden acquire millions of dollar of Real Estate in California ? The truth will all come out nothing is hidden forever."What has already been reported", not what you are sure about... I really can't come down to your level, hope somebody does me the favour and put you through |
A governor takes responsibility for whoever he hires to work for him my friend. So he knows and as well approves any job the commissioner has done. |
biafranqueen: I just want to mention that Commissioner Robert Uju Okonkwo is the person who fought for those roads you are mentioning it was a long battle while he was in charge of Transportation and Special Duties. That is why he is now the Commissioner of Commerce he is the one that brought Shop Rite to the state. I just want to give credit where credit is due. He is also the one who wrote the budget. Some of my own people tried to ruin his name because he refused to take bribes or help his personal family by giving them salary. He is the real hero behind this transformation....And did your Mr. Okonkwo hire himself to do so, No! |
cooltone: One funny thing about this man Peter Obi is that he sees everybody apart from himself as a 'mugu' and also he can lie a lot. The only good thing he did was that he invested most of his loot in Nigeria. Please can you kindly substantiate this looting claim of yours.. I am from that state and would like to know. |
lordnammy: He survived the era of Uba's and co he can still survive any other timeBut he believes he has done the much he could (and he's done good) and decides to move on... Allow the guy be joor |
lordnammy: He would have gone far to effect the change he preach.Seconded. Though not everybody would have the 'strength' to push further. His survival amidst too many opposition (and he still performed) for a 2-tenure long period is already a miracle. U wouldn't want him killed, do you... |
Nigeria as a country needs Mr. Obi's calibre in the helms of affairs... Transparent, discipline, positive commitment, goal-minded individuals like him earn my respect. I admire him a lot for the lot he has done in Anambra state. I wish him well as I pray we have a successor that will surpass Obi's achievements. |

It is childish to start crying blue murder when there is no beating at all. This is a case of 'when a bird flies without perching, the hunter shoots without aiming'. The law in question does not witch-hunt anybody, rather to checkmate some frivolous acts by some (need I say MOST) of the private jet owners in the country. Thanks to Dreamflying, he did a good job explaining my thoughts! |
O boy! How are the mighty falling |
I don't like City's win, but I so love this chelsea's loss! |

Hilary 26: Our youths are the most docile in the world. They are short-sighted. Look at the the post quoted above.Quit talking bollocks my friend. I see you gained from the big time embezzlement and over-bloated expenses that was the bane during Dr. Ngige's tenure. People like you are the reason a corrupt free Nigeria seems like a mirage. Smh "Liberalism, if stopped, can cause those who one governs to believe that they are now stingy. Liberality is most dangerous for those already in power" - Machiavelli. The French Revolution, some would argue, started because of this scenario. When the French government got into outstanding debt the aristocracy turned to the people to bail them out. When the people were reluctant to this agreement with the noble classes, the middle class pleaded its case for economic reforms to help the government. When their requests were met, the people revolted. People live in the present and do not look to the past very well. Machiavelli concludes that leaders must start out stingy and work their liberality to their advantage. |
asha 80: tell the rural dwellers in the state that. Are you minding him.. Save your energy replying the ignorant dude |

Rooneyboy: This N6 guy who knows his real names abegNwabasili |
I think you are the one missing the point here. I can tell you Dr. Demuren was sacked because some corrupt 'stakeholders' are aggrieved by his stance on due process. So for me, going to the courts means less and a total waste of his precious time because his tenure has expired quite some time ago. The president has the power to still sack him, even if he did nothing wrong, get it? Remember, he was sacked because of "unsatisfactory response to the 'CONCERNS' of stakeholders in the aviation sector..." Or did you see Dana mentioned there as the reason? They already knew he can't be found wanting with any concrete reason, hence the vague reason stated for his sack. Allow not sentiments to becloud your sense of judgment, and don't allow yourself to be misfed by some incomplete news around town. |
tobedadiva: You can connect with dream FM. www.facebook.com/dream925fm or via twitter @dream925fm. Listen online from anywhere in the world, click http://player.netromedia.com/?ID=161e868f-98a7-4c60-b38e-fc8e89c5985cGood one. Though I have a better way to listen in on my mobile phone, but I still long for it to be hosted on jandusradio.com so as to attract more listeners and to reduce cost on us listening with network data plans. Your mgt should look into that. |
The Beam: NCCA/NCAA? Oh well, my mistake. Can you confirm the documented engine trouble? Anyways, it is still lawful to clear an aircraft with some known deficiencies to fly as stipulated by the law. So, if you are claiming the recorded deficiency caused both engines of the aircraft to fail, then I suggest you come open so to help lessen the burden on the investigators. Do you still have in memory the stated reason for his sack? What where the unanswered questions and when were the said questions asked? What a reason! I still maintain it's purely politics. Giving the dog a bad name....... |
The Beam: Don't need to go into the future pal. This is simple deductive reasoning. |
The Beam: Don't need to go into the future pal. This is simple deductive reasoning. He's no DG of any NCCA, he is the DG of NCAA. Repeating this mistake severally in your posts gives you away as being too ignorant to judge a case like this. Secondly, your deductions are not complete, and therefore can pass as null and void! Your statement: "Was there a breach of regulations that led to the DANA crash? Yes, SEVERAL!" Did I hear you say NCAA? Then you must have time traveled into the future to confirm that. |

The Beam: That wasn't my intention sir. Sorry if it looks like that.Yes, for the records, he has been outstanding before and after the Dana incident. He has maintained quite an excellent record in terms of safety oversight functions in the Nigeria aviation sector. An accident can happen even when all necessary precautions are being taken... I'm sure you know what a human error is. You talk like you know exactly what caused the Dana incident, or are you being (mis)informed by someone? Do not slander , God does not take it lightly. Have you known he in 1995, was "forced" into retirement as Director Safety Services because of his strict adherent to Safety after a Government "restructuring" exercise. And ten years later, he was appointed the DG? Pls be sure of who to blame, it takes an ignorant to cast blames to the wrong person. Have a nice day |
