Christianity EtcRe: Islamic Practices In The Bible Unknown To Christians by MyVicky: 10:21pm On Jul 07, 2013
lepasharon: Yeah Yeah Yeah,
I do know that you muslims attempt to worship god
I do know that some of what you guys do is in the bible
You claim you believe The Bibe is also God's word
BUT The bible also says anything without scales nd fins is UNCLEAN for you but you muslims ignore that nd just decide to ignore pork only
What about shrimps crabs nd Lobsters are they not UNCLEAN also huh!

Thats how iknow islam is nothing but a watered down version of the bible.PLagarism
Important facts taken out nd replaced with lies and garble that dont make sense

Smoking nko??Is that not defiling your temple? You muslims choose to ignore that!!!
All i see everywhere is so called muslims smoking!Even under the hijab! You muslims are a bunch of hypocrites

How can you muslims claim God is Allah?
The God of Israel nko??!That predates Islam
Hebrew was the first language on earth not no arabic.
The Quran came 600 years after christs resurection
How are you going 2 tell me the quran is true.
You muslims claim God is impartial, but the Quran itself tells you the Children of israel have favour bestowed upon, wats that supposed 2 meanhuh
The bible tells you God is and only deals wit the ISRELITES so that cuts Mohammed in half.
kmt!

no way is the quran the truth, the bible exposes all your lies

FamilyRe: How To Handle Sadness And Unhappiness In A Relationship? by MyVicky(op): 1:51am On Jul 07, 2013
My Vicky: I really need to know how you can handle your unhappiness personally without hurting your partner.
There is this very big opportunity I have been hoping for like my life depended on it and I suddenly realized I missed it and unhappiness, sadness and gloominess took over. My partner is someone who wants me to be happy always and someone who becomes sad whenever I am unhappy. I do not want my sadness to be a source of unhapiness for my partner but I don't know how to handle it.

Please, what can I do?

Thank you.

FamilyRe: How To Handle Sadness And Unhappiness In A Relationship? by MyVicky(op): 6:58am On Jul 04, 2013
debrief08: This is part of growing up, you will learn that you can't have everything you want no matter how much you "claim" it.
Churches have taught people wrongly that God is there to be our personal messages, the ignore "ALL Things work togather for good" or twist it.
All things meaning; sad times, sickness, death, failures and whatever we face are meant to work for good, good may not be physical manifestation good may be the growing lessons you pick: How could this have been better, what lessons did I pick, or in future that experience may be used to help someone else, eg, most of us who have tasted hurt, extreme pain and disappointment easily understand what people are saying when they face similar situations hence God will use us to help that person pass through his/ her own phase.
What you do now is realise that you can't always have everything, and this is a phase that will pass and pick the lessons you can from it.
Also realise that continous sulking and whinning will push your partner away hence you will have double loss.
When I am faced with hard times as I am currently I reflect and thank God for finding me worthy to be tested, I thank God for all the previous things I have faced and how He helped me overcome them. I also ask God to help me learn what he needs me to learn, then I ask for Grace to go through the current phase.
Nothing lasts forever including good times.
When you learn that lesson you have conquered half of the problem
Thanks a lot for the message. It is well appreciated.

FamilyRe: Parents: How Do You Identify A Child's Talent? by MyVicky(op): 4:50pm On May 30, 2013
kodewrita: Simple.

---Expose them to a lot of experiences ( in my own case, music classes, scrabble, computer club etc) and see which one they really get excited about or stick to.
---Once identified, buy them a child-sized kit as early as possible ( e.g drawing kit, small computer, football kit including shin guards and ball, ballet attire, karate gi or WHATEVER they require).
---Enforce some discipline so that they stick with it to take it beyond passing fancy into early mastery.
---Give them opportunities to impress their peers with their new found skills, it builds self esteem and makes them want to get even better at it.
---keep in mind that they might know better about their chosen area than you do ( in spite of your age)
--Most importantly, find them a mentor/role model who might be a bit closer in age to them so they can find someone to copy and hopefully surpass. It is usually easier for them to ask such people questions than to ask you. Example, if your kid is really good at programming, find someone among your IT friends to mentor him on what to learn.

yellowpawpaw: Apart from test, don't restrict them in anything they r doin, check out their personalities too.read books on temperaments to broaden ur knowledge.there was this small boy of 4 and half yrs that I know very well.he is always hungry.everytime he is always asking for food but whenever he starts building his motor, generator etc(actually,if a mechanic come to do work in their house, forget him till d mechanic goes home)he will never ask for food.entice him with anything u r wasting ur time.if he will ever answer u,he will tell u he is building motor, and he has tools. really good stuffs.if d parents encourage him,I think he will be a good mech engineer.
Also d environment plays a big part.
Nice input. Appreciate.

PoliticsRe: Injustice To Nigeria, Nigerians And Blacks. by MyVicky(op): 8:44pm On May 27, 2013
My Vicky: May be I'm the only one thinking this way?

The whites are quick to associate an evil or bad behaviour to Nigerians or blacks but when a white is involved, they give it a host of psychopathic apppellations. When Nigerians or blacks do good or achieve great feats in foreign countries, those countries are quick to attribute the success to themselves. It seems to me that they only choose to get credit for the good and not the bad. I completely detest and condemn all the acts of terrorism and inhumanity and at the same time, we should call a spade a spade. When someone does evil, he is a british-Nigerian, African-American.....but when they do good, they are simply british, american.....injustice at the highest level.

I do not see in the BBC, CNN news or the World super powers condemning BUNKERING in nigeria. All I see in the news is Corruption, Boko Haram, Insurgence and so on. Even though, these are equally heinous crimes being perpetrated in Nigeria yet Nigeria looses even more to Oil BUNKERING and I believe these super powers benefit from the situation and that's why they don't say anything about it. In my opinion, this is unfair to Nigeria.

How do we put an end to all the negative publicities being attributed to us as nigerians and as africans?

FamilyParents: How Do You Identify A Child's Talent? by MyVicky(op): 8:37pm On May 27, 2013
I have come across so many prodigies who have risen to the top of their chosen career or profession simply because their parents identified their unique talent from childhood and the parents helped such children channel the talents appropriately. Time will fail me to list examples of such children from all spheres of life, such children have been tremendeous blessing to their generation and generations yet unborn just because a mother or a father identifies the talent they possessed at a very early age.

Seeing Carly Rose,Jamie grace, Sophia and Rosie grace sing is amazing.
Seeing the wonders performed by Messi, Williams Sisters, Tiger wood etc is awesome.
John Dabiri, Eesha Khare....etc are academic marvels.

My question is how does a parent identify her child's talent from early age? Sometimes we tend to shout children down especially when they are too forward at childhood but that could be a potential talent elsewhere. Some other times we don't like our children to be too quiet or too shy, that could also be a talent. So, how do we identify which is a talent in a child and which is not so we could hep them develop such talents to adulthood and make a difference to the world?

FamilyRe: Why Does The Female's Name Comes First In Wedding Banns? by MyVicky(op): 6:45pm On May 24, 2013
jeffizy: Actually, that is just a form of honor for the bride.

It is so because that is the last time she will bear her maiden name.
And also because after that, her name will always come after her husband's.
Example, MR and Mrs uju Pataki. grin grin
Really?

Igbe-iyawo= igbeyawo= marriage. So d honour goes to d lady first.

PoliticsRe: Role Models: Can You Succeed Without One? by MyVicky(op): 5:46am On May 24, 2013
My Vicky: In this era of human existence, it is not uncommon for individuals to have a role model. The role models are usually selected from accomplished folks from all works of life such as religion, politics, entertainments, academics, industry and so on. Some even go to the extent of attributing their successes to such role models. Just randomly ask someone beside you of his/her role model and you immediately receive spontaneous response from them and one might look awkward if one doesn't have a role model. Please, I want to know if people can succeed without a role model and what are the merits and demerits of having a role model?

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Did Mourinho Fail At Real Madrid? by MyVicky: 10:14pm On May 20, 2013
Hope you read the statement from Perez, ''"The important thing is that we have recovered the level
that we didn't have before...."?
Madrid was far behind Barcelona when Muo came and now Madrid could boast of beating the ''best team in the world'' more than 5 times in 3 years! In about 18 years, Madrid reached UCL semi finals only 5 times, Muo reached UCL semi thrice in 3 years! His league points and goal records are there to stay for a while. Give it to Mou, he didn't fail woefully at Madrid just that he could not accomplish ALL his expectations!

Let's equate soccer to any kind of profession or career you desire or that you desire for your child, what type of child would you prefer? Ferguson, Del Bosque, Keshi, Klopp, Hiddink, Guardiola, Mancini, Wenger, Muorinho, Benitez, Conte, Heynces, Villa Boas, Ancelloti, Simeone.....etc? I'm very sure Muo will not carry last and Muo will always be among the top three. The record speaks

naija should learn from this. Evil, obnoxious and wicked men should be hastily and speedily brought to justice. If it were naija, I'm sure we will set up a committee to look into the investigation and after about 3 months, everything goes down the drain.
