I use Bolt on my 9700, not the best browser but it works. |
You don't have a website, no portfolio; Just a cell phone number, and you want me to throw 4,500 into your account so you disappear and I join the ever growing list of nairalanders with a sad (and stupid?) story to tell, heh. I'll rather add the N500 and have peace of mind, thanks Damn Nigerian wants to make me a victim; You don ever see where dog the chop dog? |
Lol! That bot causes too much confusion in Nairaland, I wish there was an NL alternative without the Bot. |
It amazes me how you guys just post cell phone numbers throughout the internet |
About to get an iPhone 3GS, and I've been thinking of what I'd do 'cos I love MTN in my BlackBerry and I hate Glo for their ugly service, but if Glo1 goes live soon, great ![]() |

Lol! Get a BlackBerry Is there an iPhone 4G[b]s[/b] @leuelliot? |
Old gist |
I intend to do a part II of "Ralph's BlackBerry Review" quite soon, I'd cover that aspect. |
Do a battery pull and have the phone boot up in GSM mode. Turn off and turn on Mobile Network so the phone re-registers and THEN try the USSD codes. You might also try to disable 3G (switch to 2G), Options - Mobile Network. |

They are giving customers completely useless services here. Instead of them to fix things here in Nigeria, they are busy trying to launch their useless services elsewhere. I don't blame those destroying their stuff, they've probably heard/read about the poor service and don't want them in their country. |
Lol! |
Why don't u start by reading: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_management_system then come back and tell what exactly you need to know about CMS. |
Oh, "boob" ![]() |
semid4lyfe:Unfortunately, you failed to grasp the motive behind the topic. "Why is it like that?" and "not knowing it is like that" are two very dissimilar inquiries. -[n3rve] |
pc guru:+1 Agreed ![]() msb247:Now, isn't that the best list? ![]() -[n3rve] |
Beaf:Lol! That's the best response on this thread. Helpman, you're really not making any sense and I suggest you stop embarrassing yourself further. helpman:To address that particular statement, do you know me? How do you know I'm a noob? I've been programming in PHP for years, and I'm part of the team that develops the software this forum is using: http://www.simplemachines.org/about/team.php#mar Get a Life! -[n3rve] |
4llerbuntu:Just remember that the IP addresses shouldn't be identical. If you're giving ubuntu 189.51.64.10, windows should have the first three and any number between 1 - 255 except 10 which was assigned to the ubuntu workstation. 4llerbuntu:Well, even on ubuntu; you should share folders, same goes for windows. On Windows: (Assuming you're on Vista / Windows 7) Right click on the folder, "sharing" tab, Advanced Sharing, check "Share this Folder", click "Permissions" and give full control to "Everyone". Okay out to the first dialogue and the network path will be shown, the system name or the IP address can be used. Install Samba on ubuntu, I'm guessing it should work without having to do this, I should try it out: sudo apt-get install samba Press ALT + F2, enter smb://192.165.45.1 (replace with the IP addressed assigned to windows), and a dialogue should pop up showing your windows shares. As expected, on a standard windows box, they're default shares in place for partitions, and another called Admin$, these are for administrative purposes. On ubuntu: The screen shot above has that explained. After that, press Win + R and run: 192.165.45.2 (replace with the ubuntu IP address and you should be able to access shares across both systems. As regards security, I don't see the point unless you're connected to a wireless unsecured network (not using Adhoc), but they should be a workaround to enable security, I just haven't got to it yet. -[n3rve] |
james1:MTN is better when you're on their 3G network. If you try to use it on an EDGE network, you'll regret. -[n3rve] |
4llerbuntu:I've not had time to put a guide together, but the following are screen shots I took when setting up my Ad-Hoc network. Hopefully, they'd help. Vquest:I don't see why that's a shame? Maemo (a Linux based mobile phone operating system develeped by Nokia), and Moblin (a Linux based mobile device operating system developed by Intel) are two companies with similar objectives, the two companies decided to merge forces to form a new system called MeeGo. MeeGo will have a larger scope than the original two systems. It is intended to support multiple hardware platforms, and run a variety of devices, including netbooks, tablet PCs, smart phones, TV sets, and vehicle entertainment systems. It's only logical that they drop support for Maemo, so that's more of good news ![]() zdnet.co.uk/news/mobile-working/2010/02/15/maemo-and-moblin-combine-into-meego-40041774/ -[n3rve] |
