IconicR:Iyaebe? How are you? |
Exmilitant:What did you do when you found out? |
It seems as though I watched the documentary of this woman on Investigation Discovery. I'm happy that the family of the victim have found closure. |
Asari is a private military contractor. There are such people operating in the US, Russia, Ukraine, South Africa etc. |
SmartPolician:Lol. Even you? Remember the argument you had with me yesterday? |
Workch:I'm agnostic too. As a Christian I believed in evolution. It's not even complicated science. I'm a lawyer and it means that I had little exposure to STEM courses. Even if one believes in creation, one cannot disregard the evidence of the "original" created living things changing their form over time because of a plethora of factors. Human beings are growing taller. Domestic animals are growing bigger. You do not see the changes in the evolution of bigger animals like Lion and Cattle in even 10,000 years. After million of years of mutation, you can look back and see how much they've evolved. The big animals are made up of cells which are largely microscopic. These microscopic organisms mutate and evolve everyday. For instance, treating malaria in Nigeria is becoming difficult because malaria parasites are evolving to resist anti-malarial drugs. Using same antibiotics over time may prove ineffective because the bacteria they were designed to fight have evolved to resist the antibiotic. There are environmental and biological changes that bigger animals fight everyday which means that we evolve everyday. If a specie isn't evolving at a faster pace to resist these changes, they risk the possibility of extinction. For bigger animals like us, the change becomes obvious after hundreds of thousands or millions of years. |
Edipet:Thank you! I've stated this right from the beginning. All she needed was people to counsel her and she wouldn't complicate her issue. |
Oge Aneke welcomes a set of twins after six years of waiting for another child Fixed. There's no way to verify that she married as a virgin. |
Under-25 men in Nigeria are not Bachelors. Take them off that list. |
SmartPolician:When Mark Zuckerberg was 19, he had started Facebook. At 19 I was doing my 4th year in a competitive Federal University (Faculty of Law which is the most competitive for Arts Students) despite almost 1 year of cumulative ASUU strike action. The 19 year-old lady didn't envisage the level of scrutiny she went through. She simply didn't anticipate the depth of verification she must pass to earn the recognition she desired. Her parents may not even be complicit. The fact that she's treated as the goddess of wisdom at home most likely makes them believe her because they seem to lack exposure. She's hardened and can't confess. She only hopes at this point that the matter is neglected without closure. Her random local joke has become a "pressing national matter" because of the questions of victimization. |
SmartPolician:That 19 year-old faked her result but she didn't understand the complexity of JAMB'S system. People are making it sound like it's rocket science or like Jamb's server and systems were hacked to change her scores. In reality what the lady did was really petty and as simple as reciting A, B and C. She simply inserted her details in a free Jamb result template available online. It's not a tribal thing or Nigerian thing. All over the world younger kids do that because they cannot stand failure or do not want to let their parents, relatives, friends and mentors down. In the recent Netflix series "Never have I ever", Devi (the lead character, smartest and best graduating student of her class) lied to her mother that she got admission into all the IVY leagues and top schools. Her mother, a medical professional, called everyone to break the news and she could have gotten into trouble if she didn't tell the truth soon enough. I wrote Jamb when I was 14. I was a straight A student of an elite secondary school. My set was the last to write the PBT before Jamb adopted the CBT. When I returned to school, since there was pressure on me to score higher, I inflated my Jamb score by about 10 marks to surpass the highest in my school who was my academic rival in school. I didn't forge any paper. It was 2014, I inflated my score for bragging rights and carried the tag of the highest Jamb scorer in my set. 10 year olds in elite private schools edit their test scripts to impress their parents, how much more a 19 year-old in a Nigerian public school? The average opinion on the matter reveals the low IQ level of an average Nigerian. Chai. |
If you have diabetes, oats/wheat is better than pounded yam/fufu/Garri 😂 |
The typical Igbo would rather the whole of their village is wiped by his brother than a Fulani, Hausa, Ijaw or Yoruba leader killing the Igbo who threatens to wipe out his own people- this is the very problem of the culture. Nnamdi Kanu ordered the destruction of police stations and the death of policemen until he was apprehended. The Igbos are still calling for his release. Killings in the East didn't start because Nnamdi Kanu was arrested. Nnamdi Kanu was arrested because the FG felt that if the man who sponsored the killings of officers in the East was behind bars, the killings would stop. It doesn't seem the killings and destructions will end anytime soon. When it all started I wrote on this platform that " arming a group of degenerates is easy. What is hard is disarming them." |
It's past 10 years since the forfeiture so it can not serve as a restriction on the President. |
joe4christ:You obviously don't know how it works. In fact, in armed robbery cases where death penalty in on the line, defense counsels have made "no case submission", which means that they do not need to tender any evidence since the prosecution have not satisfactorily proven their cases. He who alleges must prove. INEC has little or nothing to do here as most of the issues have already been determined by the supreme court and the judges of the Court of Appeal/ PEPT will just rely on judicial precedents. The Petitioners have not also shown substantial non-compliance of INEC with the Electoral Act. INEC can win the case without calling a witness. |
OloYeOfEgbE:😂 |
misano:A serving Faculty of Law President of a Public Northern University showed me his large farm that generates about 7 million naira monthly. That was in 2018. He had a slender physical figure and hadn't bought his first car yet. Don't pity Northerners. They're better businessmen. |
misano:They'll get government jobs before you. Nepotism in the public service places them in a better position to get EFCC, DSS, FIRS , NDLEA, immigration, etc jobs without paying a dime or knowing anybody (2 personal/inside experiences this year alone). Practical example: If you're from Kebbi State and you recently became a lawyer (2019- February 2023) and you're not working at any of the above departments or the federal ministry of Justice, you have yourself to blame. It's not a good thing but it is the Nigerian reality. |
The Northerners produce what they eat (plant and animals). The Northerners do not patronize non-essential Foreign imports like clothing, wine, furniture, etc. For instance, the wardrobe of an average poor northerner is made of locally produced traditional wears and cap. Basic education in the North has relied basically on NYSC members for human resources. Basic and secondary schools would still go on as it is. My short experience in the Nigerian public sector furnishes my conclusion that indigent undergraduates of northern heritage are more likely to access student loans. Firstly, because their prominent natives who qualify as guarantors will mostly sign their loan papers than their southern counterparts. Secondly, most of them fall within the demography of those the loan policy is designed for as they are more likely to lack means to further their education and the desire to emigrate. If they want to travel interstate or down to the South, they'll join trailer-trucks conveying agricultural goods down to the South. A poor northerner travels that way, with or without subsidy. |
Goodluck Jonathan is not qualified to run as President of Nigeria by virtue of the CFRN 1999 , as amended. |
drlateef:-From a dogmatic and biased Muslim who would kill for a genocidal pedophile who was called Mohammed during his blood thirsty spell on Earth. What do you mean by integration? When you're integrated into a society, you respect the core values of the society and not vice versa. How do I become integrated into Saudi Arabia? By forcing them to open bars in the so called holy city where I can drink alcohol or by respecting their policy of no alcohol and drinking secretly in my room away from public view? You're so blinded by dogma. Britain adopted indirect rule as its colonial policy while France's policy was assimilating the natives of the colonies. Today, the French National teams have more black players than white players and more than 70% of those players are practicing Muslims. What the hell do you mean by integration? That the French who built their Nation on the principles of Freedom, liberty and democracy should bow to caprices of the followers of an Arabian war lord? That the French should not tighten security to prevent heavy duty trucks from running into pregnant women who are involuntarily engulfed in the jihad of primitive immigrants? That the French should watch their school teachers stabbed by parents who scream "Allahu Akbar", in pleasure and fulfilment, after killing for their powerless motherfucker of a god? Check the meaning of integration before you reply. |
Lukuluku69:I feel disrespected that you ask me to Google the "assimilation" policy of the Colonial era 😂. I can give you a 10 hours lecture on that. |
God1000:Why would you wish that Nigeria burns in the first place? Why would you wish destruction for "your" country? |
France is currently facing the outcome of the long-term multiculturalism experiment. |
