Unnecessary over hype is what i really don't like.. SD is good fine they are.. But doesn't make MTK bad...xiaomi phones are good fine.. Doesn't make tecno nd infinix bad.. Every phone comes with its own value.. U buy a xiaomi of 60k nd u go buy tecno 45k nd u start comparing them is a very unwise comparison.. If u wanna compare u do with devices of same price range.. They all hv strength.. I've used 2 tecno device and one infinix.. Never regretted any.. My tecno got bricked the second day of purchase.. I took it to carlcare nd it got replaced immediately.. I used the phone for two years straight nothing went wrong i even gave it out at d long run..my current infinix is perfect in terms of camera and especially performance except its 3000mah bat. m just out to give xiaomi a feel.. So unnecessary infinix and tecno downgrade is off it abeg.. They produce good phones.. And i mean good phones

My advise when searching online for anything, place close attention to simple details, it will go a long way to clear doubts and confusion.

NOTE: I had modify this post over and over again. To be fair on you, Aliexpress sellers are not really helping matters after considering the brouhaha Xiaomi have already caused on the naming scheme of different versions.
Firstly, The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x 4GB 64GB that was first released was fitted with the MediaTek processor, not long after the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 4GB 64GB Snapdragon Global Version with global firmware was released which happened to cost cheaper than the 4X with MTK.
Consequently, from my own little understanding, Xiaomi not wanting to rest on their laurels on confusion, they later released Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X 4GB 64GB Snapdragon version which has lesser 4g bands compared to the Global version released before it. This last one is supposed to be for the locals in China just like Note 4x 32gb is supposed to be, although, it is still sold by sellers who ensures they flash a global firmware before sending.

Ok, this throws some light on the issue. It's likely this black I'm to see could be the latter version with lesser 4g bands. I just found that the China ROM is very useable only requiring Google install. Maybe that'll be the way to go for the untampered RN4x. I think it's time I contacted someone I know in China
