No it doesn't have inbuilt ad blocker. But it supports ad block extension, just like we have in most desktop browsers. You do that under settings and you're good to go. The best extensions are ublock origin and adblock plus.

Alternatively, just download adblock browser. It has inbuilt adblock. It has a similar interface as Firefox .

Firefox focus by Mozilla does a similar job, but the last time I used it, you can't bookmark pages.

Yes. It's premised on online anonymity. I think I even prefer it over Tor that requires one to download a collateral app for it to work.

I think it's working now, on default browser at least.

For the start tab, enable all 3

For the host tab, enable both options and deny all host files.

For the app tab, enable 'show system apps' , click on the settings icon and select 'no apps'.

For the end tab, leave it all unchecked.

Then click on the refresh button at the top right, and then start the app.

Gsmarena normally displays ad at the beginning and end of articles. It's gone now. Same thing with trackit site

I've downloaded Mi PC Suite ver.3.2.1.3111 which I believe is the latest version. Still not detecting device. I've activated USB debugging & MTP. Still giving me standard error message that I should update my device. I've checked repeatedly for update, and told no update suggesting that I'm on latest. Epp!

Aperture size, not necessarily MP makes the difference.

As usual, I had to crop some pictures because of nairaland 4mb upload limit.

It's the Redmi note 4x versus the Infinix note 4.
There will be a few surprises. My opinion on some shots:
*The Infinix note 4 has a superior flash and focuses better with it.
*In the selfie, the Redmi note 4x showed that megapixels doesn't guarantee better picture quality, was expecting it to be soundings defeated.
* The HDR on the Infinix note 4 did little to improve picture quality in low light.


I leave the rest for you to decide.

Guy, you know that our women for security reasons prefer the known to the unknown. I know no other apart from Naomi. Alas, I can't say same for my woman which brings me to my question. I want to buy the 'known' for her and I think I've zeroed in to the Canon CX Air. Do you or anyone you know have real life experience with it to advise whether it's a good choice. Lte band has nothing to do with data friendliness. It all depends on your network provider. Luckily, Glo is a data friendly network, plus data roll-over, so you have nothing to worry about. So I leave my phone permanently on 4G when browsing or not

Alternatively, you could get a mifi that supports a wide range of lte bands so that you can switch network providers as you wish

I think the mifi may be the way to go. I'm registered to the other three networks on Sim. I think that's enough.
