However, the mother of one, whose latest blockbuster movie, Heaven On My Mind, is about to hit the cinemas, told Inside Nollywood that she has no plans of giving birth any time soon.
“Sorry, I don’t talk about my marriage. As for having another child, No. I’m okay with just one child,” she said.
Speaking on the challenges of being a filmmaker in Nollywood, Uche Jombo revealed that it’s a process that only gets better with time and consistency.
“People often ask me the challenges of a female filmmaker, but it makes no difference. It’s not a gender thing. It’s all about filmmaking and how serious you’re. For me, if you have an opportunity to make a film, just do it. If you don’t get it all right, the first time, try again, it’s a process.
“Let people see the change and growth, as you continue. People should see the progress. Learning new things every time. Take a course; 6 months, one year, and try to do something different. This is a profession you can be in till you die, so you can always go back, rebrand and relaunch.
“Nollywood has really given us a lot, we the veterans should try and invest back into the industry.
“For those sitting on a fence, always criticising, why don’t they give it a shot. Get into the system and make a film. Live by example. Make those kinds of films, you’d like to watch. If you have not made money or lost money in this industry, then just don’t talk. Don’t criticise,” she stated.

AbujaBlue: A secondary school pupil is being investigated after parents and classmates claimed he was as old as 30.
It is thought he is an asylum seeker who joined Stoke High School, Ipswich, as a new pupil at the start of term.
The school said it had contacted the Home Office in relation to the concerns but it was not prepared to comment further.
Another pupil shared an image on social media with the message: "How's there a 30-year-old man in our maths class?"
The Home Office has said it does not routinely comment on individual cases. 'Not attending'
In a statement the school said: "This is a matter for the Home Office. They are looking into this after we contacted them.
"We do not comment on individual cases but we have followed government and local authority policies and guidance, as we do for any asylum admissions matter."
It added the pupil "was not attending the school at this time".
The government's criteria for granting asylum to refugees are:

Lewis Forte, whose step-daughter is a pupil at Stoke High School, said he had been totally dissatisfied with the school's response.
He said: "I went to the school to raise concerns about it and the teacher tried to shut me down by saying all his documents were present and correct which they probably were."
Mr Forte said he believed the pupil in question had been at the school since the start of the term.
"If he is a child then I am very sorry but I had a few children in my class who looked old for their age but this is something else," he said. 'Home office's fault'
Another parent warned others on social media, "I suggest if anyone's children are in the same classes as this guy then keep them off school until this has been investigated".
Victoria Newby, who has a child at the school, said: "My girls will not be attending until I know for sure he's been removed."
Ipswich MP Sandy Martin said parents should not be taking their children out of the school, as they are not at risk.
"Stoke High School is, as far as I am concerned, an extremely safe environment for their children," the Labour MP said.
"It's not the school's fault, it's the Home Office's. They are responsible for making sure that people are sent to appropriate places."
The East Anglian Daily Times reported that parents suspected the "man" had lied about his age in order to gain GCSEs because his qualifications were not recognised in England.
5Ebiscoo: Usman Yusuf, Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), has claimed that he was suspended for refusing to release N975million to the Ministry of Health.
Yusuf stated this on Friday when he appeared before the House of Representatives panel investigating his suspension.
The NHIS governing board recently suspended him, after accusing him of financial infractions and abuse of office.
Addressing the house committee in Abuja, Yusuf alleged the panel that investigated him was bribed.
He said his “refusal” to grant the request from the Health ministry “led to the setting up of a panel to probe me.”
“And the panel delivered as the panelists were given N19 million, even the security too were given money,” he said.
Asked whether he has any evidence, Yusuf responded in the affirmative, saying, “I even have documented evidence of how the money was shared”.
Yusuf also revealed that the day the governing board announced his suspension, was the day he was meant to present a report on the violation of the public procurement processes at the agency.
“Why was I suspended on October 18 and not 19th of October? The 18th of October was the day I was going to present a result of the forensic audit of the activities of HMOs.
“Eighteenth of October was nothing but preemptive coup at the NHIS. It was a gang up to stop my fight against corruption.
“These are all allegations that have been recycled. They were all investigated by the ICPC and EFCC; and they found nothing and I was cleared. They wrote to me clearing me,” he said.
Yusuf denied illegally awarding contracts at will at the agency, but admitted that a company owned by his brother, Mohammed Kabir-Yar’Adua, was awarded a N406million contract at the agency.
He insisted that the company won the contract through due process in 2016.
On his part, the Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole, insisted that Yusuf was justly indicted of corrupt practices.
Adewole, represented by Permanent Secretary at the ministry, Abdulaziz Abdulahi, insisted that cases of financial infractions were established against the NHIS executive secretary.
“All the allegations levelled against him are 100 per cent correct,” Abdullahi said.

President Muhammadu Buhari, Friday, in Abuja received the attestation and confirmation of his 1961 West African School Certificate (WASC) Examination result from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
The documents were presented to the President at State House during a courtesy visit by a delegation of WAEC led by its Registrar, Dr Iyi Uwadiae, accompanied by Olutise Adenipekun, Head, National Office, WAEC, Abiodun Aduloju, Head Public Affairs, WAEC and Olufemi Oke, Zonal Coordinator, WAEC Abuja.
The President thanked the examination board, established in 1952, and which conducts the WASC examination for University and JAMB entry examination in West African countries, for upholding its integrity over the years, adding that he did not expect anything less from the institution.
The President said it would have been impossible for him to have attended the Defence Services Staff College, India (1973) and thereafter, United States Army War College, as a Nigerian military officer, if he didn’t sit for the WASC examinations in 1961.
The President recounted that during his secondary school days, it was very difficult to commit examination fraud, even though it was not impossible.
''My colleagues and I who spent close to nine years in boarding school both in primary and secondary, including Gen. Musa Yar’Adua, when we intended to join the military we had to take a military examination.
''We were examined in three subjects, English, Mathematics and General Knowledge because English is the language for general instruction throughout the country because of our colonial heritage.
''Mathematics in the military was necessary, coupled with Geography. We were trained how to be dropped off in the bush, given only a pair of compass and since we were not astronomers, you have to learn to find your way, calculate, using the Pythagoras Theorem and others to work out your position,'' he said.
In his remarks, the Registrar said it was possible for candidates to lose their examination certificates through fire and any other unfortunate incident.
''We don’t issue certificates twice but we can issue attestations or duplicate copy of the certificate.
''We also have what we refer to as confirmation; usually, universities were using this in those days when Information Technology was not in vogue.
''Whoever sat for WASC exams in whatever year, we have the records in our database, and Mr President, we have the records of the examinations you sat in 1961.
''We have the attestation of results which we issue to candidates who lost their certificates and confirmation of results,’’ Dr Uwadiae said.

FlirtyGist: A 20-year-old student of the Imo state university IMSU, Samuel Ekani, has been arrested by men of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, for allegedly being a member of a robbery gang.
Parading the suspect before newsmen, the state commissioner of police, Dasuki Galadachi, said Samuel was arrested alongside a 26-year-old man, Richard Ikenna, who had been on the police wanted list for armed robbery.
The suspects are reportedly members of the secret club, Vikings confraternity.
”During the arrest, Richard Ikenna, who had been on the wanted list of the command for armed robbery and murder, sustained gunshot injuries on his right leg. One of their victims, Paul Anyanwu, 37, who narrowly escaped death after being robbed by the gang, has identified them.
They were arrested at a hotel along Works Layout in Owerri. One locally-made pistol, a double-barrelled pistol with three unexpended and one expended cartridges were recovered. The suspects are Richard Ikenna from Owerri Municipal and Simon Ekani, from Rivers State.” he said
The commissioner of police said once investigation is completed, the suspects would be arraigned in court.

nimisola: President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday said the National Council for Women Societies (NCWS) came to threaten him over female appointments in his cabinet.
The president spoke during an audience with the leadership of the NCWS at the presidential villa, Abuja.
Buhari, however, assured that his administration would address the deficit in appointments by appointing more women into his cabinet.
The president said: “I have appreciated the subtle and timely threat you have made; I said timely because you waited until campaigns are about to start, you mobilised yourselves to come and threaten.
“I hope you are being very fair to me; I will leave you to the public to judge. You said I haven’t replaced the casualties from my council about the ladies. I’m sure you are following up (finance and women affairs).
“One applied to leave because I think she wants to be the governor of the state and one failed to meet the government requirement of declaring NYSC certificate.
“I replaced them with other ladies; so, I don’t know where I went wrong there?
“This deficit in women appointments I will look at it and the road is clear; election is coming perhaps I will get a few more advisers, ministers from the women. I thank you most sincerely for coming to see me.”
On the rate of sexual violence and abuse in the society, particularly at the internally displaced persons’ camps (IDPs), the president said he had already directed the security agencies to immediately address the problem.
“I have taken note of the observations you made on the abuse of women in the IDPs camps,” he said.
“I’m encouraging the police to be much more efficient and I think something is being done about it.’’
