That hybrid Sim adapter makes phone look ugly especially if your using transparent case.

This OTP stuff is quite hectic @ first trial. This is how it goes for those who aren't aware about it.

If u are using a uba MasterCard for online transaction an OTP is needed. Now let's make one thing clear.

OTP generated by quickteller from ATM machine is totally different from OTP giving to u by ur bank.

Now this my personal experience. I own a uba MasterCard. Visited an ATM machine to obtain OTP. @ first it wasn't successful probably network issues. Went again and did exact same tin and it worked. A six digit code was sent to my phone. But In my own conviction I wasn't satisfied cos it seems an OTP for local transaction eg, interbank transfer, paying local bills eg, electricity and buying recharge cards is what I achieved. This services is provided by quickteller not my bank.

I decided to mail uba demanding to be profiled for OTP and they responded swiftly. They asked for my account number, last four digits on my ATM card and my phone number.
I provided everytin as requested. Surprisingly they called me and asked for relevant Info's about the account which I replied accordingly. This whole interactions starterd yesterday and now, I got a mail from uba that my account has been activated to receive OTP whenever I wanna make an online transaction. That's all

This Chinese men don't wanna hasten my appeal approval. Dont know their headache

Had the same issue some weeks ago, was told only Verve cards allow activations on ATM right now.
You'll write one yeye formal letter for filing purposes sha...

I wrote the application letter now, and I submitted it in the same branch I opened the account/collected the ATM.

Quick teller is for Verve cards which do not work for foreign transactions.
You should give it time, sometimes it takes up to 24 hours or more to reflect.
Or maybe the fault is from UBA..

Not sure about using the app because I haven't used it before.

On Monday take your phone to the bank and they'll set up everything for you.

For convenience just get a token.
Everything is offline so even if UBA or the merchant's servers are overloaded you'll still be able to complete transactions as you don't need to receive OTP. You'll just press the token and input whatever number shows up.

They don't send the OTP at all, or you don't receive it.

If you've activated it and don't receive it on your phone check your email, they send to the email also.

You can also use the Utoken app or get a hardware token.

I tried to activate the otp via the quickteller platform and an error message came up. When I went back to the bank, that's when I was told to apply for otp which I did but still nothing (my email app and phone didn't get the otp)
The "utoken" app keeps saying "The user you specified is not eligible for one-time password (OTP) login".

UBA and I used the bank ATM to try activating the otp but it didn't work.

It wud never work,go to ur bank and request to activate ur otp or get a hardware token,
I am not sure quicktell has ever been involved in sending me otp i use on alixpress.

I was there on Thursday and I was told "otp are generated by the merchant site not Bank". I was told to submit an application for otp which I did and yet it wouldn't come up when I need it.

OTP is SOFT TOKEN powered by QUICKTELLER not your bank. You have to activate it before it will start working.
Follow these steps:

Visit an ATM
Insert your card
Select Quickteller
Select "Pay bills"
Choose your account type
Select “Others”
Enter 322222 as the payment code
Enter your phone number as ‘Customer Reference’
Accept the N1.00 amount displayed
Follow prompts to complete the transaction

This didn't work with my Mastercard. Any other suggestions?
