Beaf:You just contradicted yourself. You said no one makes a living from adsense! After you stated except Spammers and super high traffic sites! Well, I get your point, I'm just trying to pull your leg. The truth is some (they are few really) makes enough money from Adsense to quit doing any other job. There are people earning 5digit cheques from adsense monthly. They didn't arive their overnight. Some has been working at it for the past 5years. They started with earning $0.01 per day from Google Adsense I earn from Google Adsense daily. But not enough to make noise because it is still very small. I am learning the TRADE and the TRICKS. It is hard work, but when you have done the ground work, it becomes a source of earning PASSIVE income for as long as you wish. I encourage young Nigerians to get free blogs and learn how to earn money from Google Adsense. It is a business that grows slowly, but when it is well implemented, the income from it can be steady and substantial. |
@itsolution What has IT got to do with zip code? If you can't help the guy why not simply stay off. I really wonder the kind of computer or IT gadget you want to use and get zip code for someone who you have no clue of where he or she is residing. Even Bill Gate can produce such answer ![]() @surveycash The information you need is online. Simply go to http://www.nipost.gov.ng/PostCode.aspx Enter the state you are residing the rest is easy to figure out. You don't need to pay anybody or spend a dime. Cheers. N.B - If you feel like you must say thank you, then you can drop a note at my website Nigerian Entrepreneur ![]() |
I think this topic is misleading. Nigerians already shop online. You can only say that it is difficult shopping online as a Nigerian. Many bloggers buy domain names, hosting services online. If you are shopping on websites that belongs to Nigerian, your ATM card may be accepted. When shopping on websites that are non-Nigerian, you can use PayPal, AlertPay and others. We shop online, it is just that it is not easy. Some websites reject selling product or services to Nigerians because of the activities of the black sheep among us. It is quite unfortunate that our leaders are not doing anything to help the situation. The legislature are too busy fighting over trivial issues instead of making laws that will enhance e-commerce. |
It is showing on his profile Awka Anambra State |
You need to find out the zip code for the area you are residing, if not they will send surveycash:I received my PIN after my second request. Funny enough, the first PIN sent by Google arrived about a week after. The problem was the zip code, it wasn't Google's problem. You need to find out the NIPOST zip code for your area. If you state the area you are residing, I can help you search online for the zip code. 234 is Nigeria's international phone code. It is quite different from your zip code. Also, 999999 is not correct. Each area has been zoned by NIPOST, so the zip code I used will not be of any help to you except we are living in the same area. Cheers. |
OrderBay:@orderbay I sincerely apologize for not responding on time. I've been visiting Nairaland all this while, but forgot to subscribe to this thread, so I didn't see your request on time. You can send information on the kind of advert you want via the contact form on my site Nigerian Entrepreneur Contact Me Cheers. |
Warri is a fine place. I can testify that most of those pictures are places in Warri. To those insisting that the slums should be showcase, how many pictures of New York city or London gets showcased. It is natural to showcase your best, not your worst. Nice thread. |
If their claim is true, then all of them are guilty of conspiring against Nigerians. They are as guilty as those they are accusing. |
I don't see anything wrong in this. He is asked to share his knowledge, not award certificates! So, what is the bone of contention? |

Nija for live! We just dey kampe. Remember the politicians warned us that the democracy we are practicing is home-grown! That's why the most common dividend of democracy in Nigeria is POVERTY! @all Those complaining about the state websites being about the governor and his family should be careful. It is a "well thought out strategy" If you promote the 1st Family, then the whole state will be promoted, shikena! May God send us help! |
I had a similar experience last week. I was quite confused about the unidentified network. The laptop connects to it faster than it connects to the secured network that I wanted to use. But unfortunately, I couldn't browse. I just had to manually disconnect it and manually connect to the original network I wanted to work with. It was a funny experience. |
dominique:@dominique At least the effort will not be a waste then. I understand that using those software will be quite difficult as it is not easy interpreting a word in English into a local language. To be candid many of us who use computer daily will find it quite difficult to operate if we are to do so using our local languages. However, that is not a good enough reason to criticize the idea. We should give it some time to see how it plays out. Who knows something more fascinating can come out of the whole idea. It is just a pity that keeping a dictionary by the side in order to understand the "deep version" of the local languages will be a discouraging factor. Truly, pidgin english would have done a much better job. We just have a way of figuring out what is meant in pidgin english without stress. ;-) |
I've been using Avast Home Edition. It keeps the virus and other unwanted elements away. |
