Tried it and was really impressed. However, I stumbled on another app that does a better job. Telegram. You can check it out on Google Play store. It has the feature of "self-delete messages"

Mod, please remove this from the front page. It is misleading. This thread is copied verbatim from a chain e-mail. See the link quoted above, it shows that the fake-story has been on for several years.

Is it true? How come no source is quoted? Baba is too popular for the media not to carry the news of his call to glory. Someone should please confirm that this news is true.
You guys buy oyinbo rejected salvaged and obsolete 'tokunbo' cars then start whining.

there is no car mentioned that someone somewhere is not having a good time with.

before you buy next time, check the history
I was about asking a similar question. Are those cars being mentioned purchased as brand new, or they were already used! Beside those made in China cars, you will be surprise that someone somewhere is praising the car you consider useless.

Nairaland GeneralRe: The New Nairaland: Are You Staying Or Leaving? by NaijaEcash(m): 8:05am On Mar 13, 2012
Change is the only thing that is permanent in life. However, the way change is implemented can go a long way to dictate how people react to it. I guess this change could have been handled better than was done. Having said that,

I'm staying. Nairaland has done a lot in terms of providing much needed information for me as a Nigerian. So it will be funny to simply run away because I hate the new outlook of the forum. A forum is not just about the look, it is about the community and the value it adds to the lives of the community member. The truth be told, Nairaland has come a long way. There are so much information archived here that you may not easily get elsewhere.

What I don't like about the new outlook:

1. It is not easy on the eye. I actually prefer the old look.
2. The new look doesn't encourage me to contribute (maybe it is just the human nature reacting to change).
3. Some of the links are still broken (I guess the programmers are working hard to rectify that)
4. It lacks the graphic candies, it is too plain. Looks like a clone of Nairalist.
5. Can't seem to find my signature anywhere again. Is this a new policy?

What I like about the new outlook:

1. Well it loads a lot faster than the former. I guess that is a huge improvement.

I've done it severally, and I never considered it something strange. Well, I considered it fun anyway, cos I don't get to do it repeatedly like my spouse.
Music/RadioRe: Fela’s Music Lands Man In Trouble With Soldiers by NaijaEcash(m): 12:49pm On Feb 07, 2012
This incident can't be classified as FUNNY! The poor hawker obviously didn't know that the soldiers were going to react to the music been played. It is unfortunate that he was bullied.

You are surely a con-artist yourself. Simply tell us you want to steal from this "thief" neighbor of yours. No sane entrepreneur will venture into business with a man of questionable character.

BusinessRe: CBN Imposes Limits, Penalty On Cash Transactions, Again! by NaijaEcash(m): 5:14pm On Apr 29, 2011
Turning Nigeria into a cashless Nigeria sounds like a good idea. But the proposed policy will do more damage than good. Believe it or not, a lot of Nigerian entrepreneurs prefer cash transactions to e-transaction because they feel it is safer (not counting the risk of armed robbery).
The government has failed to put in place what will encourage people to transact business without moving around with physical cash.
Who will agree to sell a foodstuff or building material to a total stranger who offers to pay with cheque, when it is common knowledge that the justice system is still in its infancy stage in Nigeria.
As I write this, I have a dud-cheque for a huge amount of money in my drawer. It was issued by a corporate organization and every attempt to make them pay what they owe my organization has proved abortive.
Cash still seems to be the safest way to doing business in Nigeria. Until the government provide a means for people to get speedy justice for commercial cases, small business owners won't go for cashless transaction.

FamilyRe: Is My Son Left Handed And How Do I Make Him Right Handed by NaijaEcash(m): 2:24pm On Sep 18, 2010
Being left-handed is not a curse nor a disadvantage in any way. I've got relatives who are left-handed. They show no sign of being inferior in any way. In some cases they even turn it into their own advantage. For example one of them trained herself to use both hands. She can write with her left and right hand. I don't have such ability.

So, my advice to you is that you leave that child to be who God created him to be. And please stop people from attempting to force him to become right-handed. That can affect him in a negative way. Cheers.

How many options do Nigerians really have? I simply blame the crooks that brought our economy to this shameful state. In the beginning it wasn't like this.

The earlier you start thinking of Minding Your Own Business, the better. Like one poster said, going back to the farms might be a good start for many of us. We all must not work in the offices slaving for peanuts!
PoliticsRe: President Goodluck Jonathan Nominates Kaduna Governor, Sambo, As VP by NaijaEcash(m): 2:05pm On May 13, 2010
What we need is action, not mere promises. If these two spend the next 11months doing things that benefits the entire populace and not just PDP, then they can be rest assured that Nigerians will vote them in 2011.

Holadipupo:
Nairabet is a scam after i gave my referal to my friend, he paid 20000 and i suppose to get 6000 and it appeared on my transaction list neither pending nor approved till am talking.pls help me out what is the essence of referall.
If you don't know the meaning of the word SCAM I think you should stop using it. After reading all the posts before yours, it is obvious that some of you simply shout FOUL when you have not exhausted all available means to resolve issues you are having with Akinalabi.

It is a bad practice to call a business SCAM in other to get attention quickly. If you have an issue with the man, call his attention first before labeling him what he is not. I think the moderator should look into this.
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Governors Approve Execution Of Convicted Prisoners by NaijaEcash(m): 2:49pm On Apr 22, 2010
Can you see how our leaders are always REACTING instead of being PROACTIVE. Is it not ridiculous that they are reasoning that the execution of condemned inmates will bring the numbers of prisoner down even when the statistics shows that about 70% or more of the population are awaiting trials.

It is sad to note that someone accused of stealing an item worth N5,000 can languish in Nigerian prison for 5years without being tried and convicted. Some were locked up because they refuse to give bribe to policemen. Such inmates shouldn't be in prison to start with. So, they are suppose to be the first set that attention will be given to, not those awaiting execution.

If our leaders are to be sincere, they will simply set up committees to visit the prisons and do an on the spot review of the kind of inmates that each prison is having.

Any case that is civil should be immediately reviewed and the trial fast-tracked. That way, in a matter of months, the prisons will be seriously dis-congested.

Also, fund should be committed to the construction of new prisons instead of squeezing prisoners into present facilities that were built several decades ago.

Here is food for thought. How can a man be reformed, when he is being treated as an animal? Nigerian prisons need urgent attention not lip service or cheap talk.
