Why do Nigerian companies act like they are doing their clients a Favour for services being paid for. It is quite upsetting to have to beg for a service you already paid for. Why will support staff and sales personnel lie blatantly to a client and yet they expect growth in market share? TIZETI management has a lot of work to do. |
Glory be to God in the highest for the gift of His servant Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai. The lives touched by this great servant of the Lord shall forever be grateful. A fearless soldier of the cross. Sleep well sir until resurrection morning. |
You need to go to https://taxpromax.firs.gov.ng/ and click on register. It will ask you for some details. When you fill in those details, it will show you an already generated PRE-TIN number which was tied to your registration at CAC. When you complete the form, an email will be sent to the email address you provided. Kudos to the team behind the improvement at CAC. |
Excell2:Your focus should not be on PAY! In life, there is a SEEDTIME (the time when you provide your service for almost free but you are honing your skill) after then there is a HARVEST-TIME (the time when you have earned a name and people are justling for your attention). Many young people mix-up these two seasons because of the amount of lies being peddled online. If you find joy in the service you are providing in your so-called SIDE-HUSTLE, keep to it, in a matter of time, you will become an employer of labor instead of running around every two years to look for a better-paying job. But if the side-hustle has no future, for example you are providing a service that technology is already threatening (for example, technology has practically eliminated the job of manual typists who were practically worshipped by final-year students who needed to type their thesis back in the 80s and 90s). Then it is advisable to get a job manage the small pay while ensuring that you are learning a valuable SKILL! Don't take a job because of the pay if you will have zero opportunity to increase your skill or learn something new. While you may be happy at first because of the good pay, soon you will start feeling unfulfilled. Wishing you all the best. Cheers. |
Ignorance is a very terrible thing. How do you expect a man with many children to fragment his family by taking side with one against the others? It makes no spiritual sense for a Pastor to endorse any political candidate. 100% of your congregation cannot agree with the ideology of a particular political party. So it is best to allow each member vote according to their conscience. This does not only apply to Pastors it applies to every leader. Allow your followers vote their conscience don't force them to vote your choice. That will negate the idea of democracy! You don't have to agree with me, but this is my response to OP. Shalom |
In time past, no part of our nation depended on other parts to survive. Every part was actively working and generating income. The idea of getting something for nothing has done so much damage to our society and created great confusion for the upcoming generation. Irrespective of how the VAT issue gets resolved by the courts, one lesson it has taught us all is that you cannot sit idle and expect to live large on others contributions. God bless Nigeria. |
What makes the story inspiring is that the baby belongs to her student, not her. She was helping the student and at the same time teaching that we can be humane if we make up our mind to do so. Check around you today, there is someone you can give a helping hand too! ![]() |
In case someone still need this information. Interview was done and 4 persons were employed. |

All will be well with Nigeria by God's grace. |
Irrespective of what you say, officially, PayPal does not allow Nigerians to receive fund on PERSONAL or BUSINESS account. See the proof in the following link https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/About-Business/nigeria-business-account/td-p/1243995 That it works for a while does not guarantee that it won't be blocked. I was using a friend's paypal account years back. He added my email address to his PayPal account which was opened in UK. All was okay until he finished school and relocated. The account got locked and the fund inside could not be retrieved. The excuse given was that I operated as a Nigerian. You don't have to take my word for it. Just ensure you don't use heavy fund to experiment on your own. |

@Op Thanks for this post. It is one of the most educative posts I've read on Nairaland (my personal opinion). Thanks for sharing your experience with the rest of us. Cheers. |
Thanks for sharing the tip. |
This is quite funny. Please which of the Television or Radio station will be selling at this price? We need to know so that we can go there and buy at the "Government Official Price" Meanwhile, the fuel stations are still hoarding and selling at N135 per litre. They sell from only one pump and you get to queue! |
We queue and struggle to buy fuel at N140 per litre at filling station. We buy adulterated version at road side for as much as N200 per litre. Why should I protest if subsidy is removed? The cabal are the ones enjoying subsidy while the masses are overpaying for fuel! Let market forces determine the price of fuel. Enough of all the lies and deceits. |
Something tells me this little boy didn't understand that he was asked to kill himself. He looks too young to be fanatical enough to commit suicide. How are we sure he was not lied to by his handlers? ![]() |
CharlesPhc:It is quite annoying how we are made to queue up like small children for things that could be automated. I did mine several months back, but other banks want me to come physically to their hall and queue up to link my accounts with them. It is quite irritating. If I can do business with China and firms in US without leaving my office, why should I queue up in GTBank and Access to update my records with them? ![]() |
snadguy007:I wish many businessmen have such option. If you throw away the sim that you have been using for business for years, you can be rest assured that your debtors will be glad to give it as excuse why they are no longer picking your calls! ![]() |
tunnamania11:Report to NCC? What will they do? Are they not in Nigeria? Are they not aware of what people are passing through in the hands of the mobile phone operators! It seems to me that our leaders and those in position of authority seem to respect social media outcry more than quiet complains. I guess because they want to appear as SAINTS to the outside world. It is funny how Nigerians are made to literately beg for proper treatment after paying for services. |
It seems the phrase CUSTOMER is KING is not applicable in the relationship between MTN and her customers. A visit to one of the branches of MTN showed a lot of aggrieved customers protesting the poor treatment they are receiving from this telecom provider. Over ten people I spoke with reported that they came to the MTN office queued and underwent the re-registration of their SIM even though they had registered several years earlier. Few hours after the re-registration, they received SMS from MTN that their registration was successful. But alas, few days after their lines were disconnected and now they have to wait endlessly in the hot sun while the few employee in the branch are obviously overwhelmed by the crowd they have to attend to. This is unfair. A lot of businessmen and women are being made to suffer for pure incompetency of whatever system MTN is using to update the customer data. Who will pay for the manhour and business opportunities that are lost by these men and women?

No, you didn't make a mistake by studying law. But you're are about making a mistake by giving up on yourself. Don't allow the fear of the unknown overwhelm you. If you survived the rigor of University and Law school, then I can bet that you are more equipped than the average entrepreneurs who had to struggle to survive amidst harsh competition in Nigeria. What you need now is not money, but Godly counsel by "professionals" in the field you wish to work in. I will love to make recommendation, but I can't publish people's details on a social media like this. I'm sure you're are getting encouraged with the tons of good wishes in responses to your post. Never give up on yourself! Stars do have scars! The test is what makes TESTimony captivating! God bless you. |
@Op thanks a bunch. |
Sometimes, I wonder why we Nigerians lie to ourselves and engage in the fruitless effort of convincing ourselves that LIE is same as TRUTH. I am not an expert in Economics or Administration, but I know the following for sure. 1. Presently there is no subsidy. Buying petrol at N130 per litre while government officials are reporting billions as subsidy spent makes no sense to the man on the street. 2. We can survive without subsidy Nigerians are survivalist a little time of sacrifice won't kill us. If we can buy petrol at N400 per litre during scarcity, then whatever additional cost the removal of subsidy will introduce per litre won't kill us. 3. We survived the demise of NITEL, we will survive this ordeal! Before the advent of GSM, I remember how I ran after NITEL officials (junior staff who carries ladder from pole to pole) begging them to come and fix the landline telephone in our office. Those guys were like demigods. After begging their big bosses in the office, you still need to run after the technicians and pacify them else, your phone won't work. That was beside the outrageous bills which you dare not query! When MTN and ECONET came, their charges were outrageous, but today the hawker on the street can make calls to another hawker on the next street without breaking a bank. In my humble opinion, there has never being "true SUBSIDY". Our collective resources is being shared among "thieves" who wishes that the mismanagement in the center will continue forever. |
legalwealth:That is a scam! You can't process your BVN online because the bank will need to capture your biometrics. ![]() |
