MTNFootball recently posted a questionnaire.Many of d people that answered or voted are neither Nigerians nor ghanaians.Most were south-Africans,Zimbabweans and 4rm some east african countries.
They asked
"Who is CURRENTLY the best striker in Africa":-Majority of the responses/votes were for Emenike and Drogba.Gyan got a few votes too,but not up to emenike or drogba.
They also asked "Who is CURRENTLY the best winger in Africa":-Majority of the responses/votes were for Victor Moses.Victor Moses was mentioned far more times than any other player,Gervinho also got a few votes.But NOBODY mentione d Ayew or ANY ghanaian player.
They asked "Who is d best midfielder in Africa":-The responses were Undisputed.Everybody voted for Yayah Toure.No midfielder 4rm nigeria nor ghana nor any other country was mentioned.Yayah got all d votes.
These are opinions 4rm non-nigerians and non-ghanaians.

You are ghanaian and would always be biased.
Just like some ghanaians think the ghanaian midfield is better than d spanish and German midfield.
Some ethiopians would believe Saladin is d best striker in Africa.
Some Nigerians would believe Emenike is d best striker in Africa.
I too im biased when it comes to nigerian players.
But try discussing football with top pundits 4rm Neutral foreign countries to get their views and opinions.
You'll hardly see a neutral that would say Ayew is better than Moses currently.Its mainly ghanaians that would say that because Ayew is ghanaian.

Piazon a chelsea loanee also to vittese the same club atsu plays for has been a regular 4 vittese and has scored about 6goals already dis season.He has been vittese's best player dis season.And he plays in d same position dat atsu plays in.Piazon would be considered before Atsu.
MarKo Marin also a winger like atsu.He is also a chelsea loanee to Sevilla.He has been a regular at Sevilla and has scored goals already.Sevilla's best player so far.He is blossoming in a good club in a very good league(la liga),unlike atsu that is warming the bench for an average vittesse in an average eredivise league.
Marin also would be considered before atsu.
Thorgan Hazard also a winger like atsu has been banging goals and has been a regular for his club unlike atsu.He too will be considered before atsu.
There are many wingers on loan that are miles ahead of atsu in club performance.These players would be considered before atsu.Atsu is the least in d peckin order becos he has failed to get into d starting XI of d average club he was loaned to.
Not to Talk of Moses that has been outstanding for liverpool.Liverpool are even above chelsea his parent club.He has never sat on d bench since his loan move.And moses is d only winger on loan that is in the EPL.
Among the about 9 wingers on loan,Moses is d number 1 in d pecking order and would be d 1st to be considered for a recall.
But among d 9 atsu is d least because he is d only player on loan that isnt getting game time in the club he was loaned to.So stop dreaming.Cant get game time at vittese,is it chelsea he would get .

Boateng has been good recently for schalke.He has scored 3 league goals and One champions league goal.
The two he scored against PSV in d qualifiers wont count.
I can also call ambrose who scored 2goals in d qualifiers 4 celtic in d champions league.
Its just like scoring in pre-season.
Besides Boateng isnt yet in your starting XI.He has and might continue faking injuries till worldcup.When he makes his 1st appearance then i'll add him.
Ghana is over-loaded in midfield but lacking a bit in attack,Lacking a lot in defence and goalkeeping.
But nigeria is balanced in all departments.From goal-keeping to striking.
We only dont have enough depth as ghana.But some fringe players would be dropped after d qualifiers to be replaced with better quality players.

Ghana's best 5 players are arguably,K.Asamoah,Gyan,Ayew,Muntari and Essien.All midfielders except gyan.
Nigeria's best 5 are arguably:- Mikel,Moses,Oboabona,Enyeama,Emenike.
I'll merge and compare these players like-4-like not by NAMES but by their current form for both club and country objectively.
1)Gyan=Emenike.Based on current form for both national teams and club.No one is better than each other,they've been on form for their countries.Emenike plays for a far better club(fernerbahce) unlike gyan that plays for a useless club in a useless league.He has been scoring for a useless club in a useless league,but emenike plays in a bigger club but has struggled to adapt to the turkish league since his move.So a stalemate.
2)Moses>Ayew:-This is quite clear over the past year moses has been the better player for both club and country than Ayew.At club level,Over d past year,Moses has played in the most competitive/toughest league in the world,in better clubs with better worldclass players(Chelsea/liverpool) compared to the less competitive ligue 1 ayew plays for or the marseille that cant boast of d quality players chelsea or liverpool has.But still moses has scored more goals and provided more assists than ayew.Won d europa league with chelsea and was arguably chelsea's best player in d europa league with torres. Has been outstanding since his move to liverpool.
In d past 1yr Moses:-11goals 5assists in all competitions.Bigger clubs/tougher and more competitive league.1 trophy to his name(europa league).
In d past 1yr,Ayew 10goals,3assists in all competitions:-Smaller Club/less competitive league.No trophy
In the national team side moses has been very active and has been a great player for nigeria.Won d AFCoN with nigeria and has been outstanding since then.A strong contender for d african player of the yr award.Ayew hasnt really been active 4 ghana.He was just recalled recently.So recently at both club and country level Moses has been d better player.
3)Mikel>Essien:-This one is undoubtable and clear becos they play 4 d same club.At club level Essien is a benchwarmer at chelsea.While Mikel has started most games for chelsea this season and has a goal to his name.So at chelsea currently Mikel is the better player than Essien.No arguments.
At national level Mikel has also been the better player given that he has been a very great player and has been active 4 nigeria.Influential in nigeria winning the Afcon,Outstanding in d confeds cup.Also a strong contender 4 african player of d year award.
Essien hasnt really been active for ghana,he was recalled just recently.So currently at both club and country level,Mikel is the better player.
Note:-I merged these players like-4-like through the positions they play.Moses and Ayew are Wingers/AM,Mikel and Essien are defensive midfielders,Emenike and gyan are central strikers.
The remaining 2 of the 5 best nigerian players are Oboabona and Enyeama.
While d remaining 2 for ghana are Asamoah and Muntari.
These players cannot be merged or compared becos they dont play in d same positions.But all 4 have been great and outstanding in their ways for their clubs and country.
Ghana's starting XI isnt as more star-studded than d nigerian XI as it seems.I compared them not by names but by current form and their form over the past yr.They only have a stronger midfield and stronger depth.

If players need to be added,players need to be removed.So the players i'll like to be added and those they should replace are:-
1)Dele Adeleye for James Okwuosa:-Reason is he is already a proven defender for nigeria.A very good defender and he will add better depth to the defence than Okwuosa.He plays in a better league(russian league) and he is a constant regular for his club Anzhi.More experienced than Okwuosa.
Adeleye should replace Okwuosa while Omeruo should replace Solomon Kwambe when he returns 4rm Injury.
2)Sone Aluko for Obinna Nsofor:-Reason is that he is a more versatile player than Nsofor becos he can play in any position aside defence and defensive midfield.He can play as a No.9,Behind a striker(emenike),A central attacking midfielder,A left winger and a right winger.He is currently in form more than Nsofor,He plays regularly in the most competitive league in the world(the EPL) unlike nsofor that warms d bench every week in an average russian league.He is hull city's best player. He has better abilities than nsofor.Only behind victor moses in football skills compared with the current nigerian team.Very pacy,Has good technique,Makes good decisions even better than victor moses,And his free-kick and long range shooting abilities are what is lacking most in the S.E.His addition to d squad will add more quality and depth than Nsofor.
And here is a Stats Fact:-Statistics shows that Sone Aluko is the most fouled player so far in the EPL this season.He has been Fouled 22 times,tied with Chelsea's Eden Hazard also been fouled 22 times.Two of hull city's penalties dis season was won by Aluko.
That alone is a good reason we need him because only Skillful,dangerous players draw most fouls.
3)Imoh Ezekiel for Shola Ameobi:-Reason is Imoh Ezekiel is a natural goal-scorer unlike Shola Ameobi that scores only 2/3 goals per season.Ameobi is more experienced than Imoh.But i'll rather have "exceptional quality" over "Experience with little quality".
Imoh Ezekiel plays for arguably the best club in the belgian league(Standard liege).He is a proven goal-scorer.Finished as 3rd highest scorer in d belgian league last season with 16goals.A nominee for belgian league Young player of the year.Currently has 6goals 3assists in all competitions so far these season with 4 of the 6goals in the league.And he is only 19yrs and has a long/bright future ahead.Ameobi is and was never a regular 4 newcastle,he spends most time on the bench.Imoh ezekiel would add better quality and depth to the S.E squad than Ameobi.Emenike is currently the only Striker that produces goals regularly 4 nigeria.Adding Imoh Ezekiel would only make our striking department rich with quality.
4)Reuben Gabriel for Sunday Mba/Oduamadi:-This was a tough one but YES !.Mba is a very good player but he is an Attacking Midfielder.We are already and would be spoilt for choice in that department with Mikel,Igiebor,John Ogu and with d addition of Sone Aluko.Based on current form,all these players have been better 4 both club and country.Sone Aluko would offer more in attacking midfield than Mba.
But what we lack is hard-tackling,hard-working aggressive defensive midfielders.Currently only Onazi fits that.Mikel is naturally a lazy player.And for our midfield to do well against big teams,we need to play two hard-working/aggressive players with Mikel to cover up 4 mikel's laziness.The ethiopia match slightly showed this.And Gabriel reuben is just d right player 4 that.
Gabriel reuben for either Mba or Oduamadi would be great.
NOTE:-Haruna lukman is in great form for his club,but i didnt add him because he is an attacking Midfielder.Sone Aluko would offer what Haruna would offer and even more.And Aluko is more disciplined too.
Therefore wit d addition of these players,the S.E 23-man list would be like:-
Goalkeepers:-Enyeama,Ejide,Agbim
Defenders:-Adeleye,Omeruo,Egwueke,B.Francis,Ambrose,Echiejile,Oboabona
Midfielders:-Mikel,Onazi,Reuben,Aluko,Igiebor,Ogu.
Forwards :- Oduamadi,Moses,Emenike,Ideye,Imoh Ezekiel,Musa,Nwofor.

We thought it was emenike that was even preventing warris 4rm getting regular game-time,but emenike left and warris is still a 3rd choice striker.He has played only one game as a substitute this season out of the more than 10 games spartak has played and he is still a starter for ghana.
Gyan is playing for a useless club in a uselesss league.
Emenike has scored in the champions league.A brace against barcelona last season.Something your gyan will dream of doing.Gyan has been around since 2006,but has he ever scored a champions league goal ??.

He is more like a chelsea reserve player ?? ,Warris,Inkoom too 4 their clubs and they are starters for u.Many in ur bench too are badly lacking game time at club level.Wakaso hasnt been a regular at Rubin Kazan,3 starts out of 7games .Atsu the chelsea loanee to vittesse has played only one game as a substitute out of 4 games since he got his work-permit sorted,Emmanuel Frimpong is a reserve player at arsenal and many more.
Name a player in the nigerian starting XI that is a benchwarmer 4 his club like essien,warris,Inkoom,right from the goal-keeper 2 striker.

And i dont know whether you mean "in any national team match"(that will include friendlies and d likes).If so,Under the last 4yrs nigeria defeated the likes of Argentina(4-1),France(1-0),Venezuela(3-1),South Korea(3-1) and many more.About 3 of These teams are better than d non-african teams ghana has defeated under d past 4yrs.I cant remember most nigerian matches against non-african teams beyond 4 yrs ago.
But if u're talking about "competitive" matches against non-african teams,that would mean only ghanaian "Worldcup" matches.
So tell me,can any of the teams ghana defeated in the two worldcups they've been to(2006,2010) be classified as "BIG TEAMS" in world football ??.Serbia ??,Czech ??,U.S.A(twice) ??.None of these teams can/could be reffered to as "BIG TEAMS" in world football.They are/were refered to at best "AVERAGE TEAMS" when it comes to world football.

Hardly any team in the world always have their full squads for tounaments.Key players are most times missing due to injury and other things.But that gives the coach an opportunity to discover and invite new talents.
Who were some nigerian key players before ??.The Odemwingies,Martins,K.Uches,Joel Obi and the likes.All these players werent picked for this year's afcon due to various reasons.
That paved way for some young players to be discovered and shine.
About 16 players that played at afcon 4 nigeria just made their nigerian debuts last year and they were playing in a senior national tournament for just the 1st time.About 8 out of d 16 had never played in any competitive match 4 nigeria until d AFCON.Aside the goalkeepers and Yobo,Mikel was the oldest player 4 nigeria in AFCON at just 26yrs.Majority of the rest of the players were 19,20,21,22.Only a few were 24,25.Many of the players nigeria used to win that trophy were untested and inexperinced players at that time.But they stood up to the occasion and made a name for themselves in that tournament unlike d ghanaian players that went.
So saying ghana had been missing key players at past AFCONs is a lame excuse.Every country miss key players during tournaments but that gives way for new players to be tried.
If d present nigeria team added the likes of d Odemwingies that is scoring regularly in d most competitive league in d world-the EPL,The likes of Sone Aluko that is sparkling every week in d EPL,the likes of Imoh Ezekiel,Chelsea's currently injured Kenneth Omeruo and many good players shinning in europe,the squad would've been more solid.But all these players might be added after the qualifiers.

Nigeria hasnt lost to an african team since 2011 and not january.Keshi hasnt lost to an african team since he became coach.But under two years ghana has lost to Mali(twice),Zambia(twice),Bourkina Faso.

I agree.Aside the tahiti game,spain dont usually hammer teams,even minnows by 5-0,6-0.Most of spain's matches against minnows end in 2-0,3-0,1-0.But you'll see smaller teams compared to spain like Belgium,Russia e.t.c defeating teams 6-0,5-0 e.t.c.That doesnt mean these teams are better than spain.That again is the case between nigeria and ghana.

Nigeria dominated play against spain and uruguay.We were even teaching them how to play entertaining footy.Has nigeria ever played the way we played in ethiopia in about a year now .No !.Right from the AFCON quarter-finals we have been playing entertaining,free-flowing football,dorminating any opponent we've faced including spain,uruguay.So that we played badly only in d ethiopia game out of the many we have been playing shows that something affected our players and that is the high altitude and bad weather.Most of u dont know about geography.Even the ethiopian players that are used to the weather were already gased out and had to take a water break.How much more the nigerian players that arrived just 2 days before the match ??.The usually lively,fast moses couldnt run at defenders like he usually does and u cant see on his face that he was Jaded.

A lot of players need to be axed out after we have qualified.I heard Solomon Kwambe is not even a regular for sunshine stars.Sunshine stars that is currently lower-tabled in the NPL.
I have no problem with home-based players,but if keshi is to invite home-based players,at least he should invite the very best from the top-5 tabled clubs not sunshine stars.
Oboabona and Egwueke were good calls because they are/were one of the best defenders in the NPFL when they were called and sunshine stars(oboabona) were doing well then.But are Solomon Kwambe and Benjamin Francis the best defenders in the NPFL at the moment ??.No !!.They wouldnt even be in the top 10.Keshi needs to invite the best from the NPFL if he is to invite home-based players.There are a lot of better defenders in enyimba,Kano Pillars e.t.c.

Lukman Haruna currently has 4 goals and 4 assists for dynamo kyiv this season.Which is superb enough for a midfielder.He plays regularly for his club.I think he should replace either Oduamadi or Sunday Mba but not John Ogu.
John Ogu is a very good player that is not afraid to shoot from long distance.He is a good passer of the ball.He is powerful and his left foot na die.We lack left-footed sharp-shooters in our team and john Ogu is.
And he was a regular starter for Academica until he got into some mis-understanding with his coach.But they have resolved their differences now.

If moses isnt 22 then henderson isnt 21,Welbeck isnt 23,Sterling isnt 18.And many english players aren't the ages they claim.Moses represented england at U-17,U-19 and U-21 levels.So if he could age-cheat and play for england those levels,then many english players at present are age-cheats.

Why una dey talk like say osaze was playing during the nine months and didnt get a goal.The last time he scored for westbrom was actually the last game he started.He was inactive durung the nine months and made just 3 substitute appearance.Now he is back.Scored in his 1st start for cardiff,now scored in his 1st EPL start.Osaze u too much joor !!l.I believe this guy still has a lot to offer the S.E team.He is younger than the likes of emenike,Ideye,Nwofor.
