Instagram is always buzzing with about 4.2 billion posts daily and countless hash tags, I probably got carried away and my 10MB was gone in 60 seconds. I'm more experienced today though.

This does not totally leave out the other culprits. The vampires that use up your data and most times storage space.

This isn't Vampire Diaries so we're certainly not going after them with sticks or vervain. Simple tricks would have saved you from heartbreak.

Here are a few ways to save yourself from pain and reduce the data these apps use.


#1. Use The App's Lite Version

Facebook, Messenger, Twitter and Skype have Lite versions. These are versions of the app that
are basically smaller and don't use up a lot of data. The apps were basically developed for those with 2G connections and saves you a whole lot of data. So head over to playstore and grab a Lite version. If you're not comfortable with the Lite version of Facebook, you can also turn on the data saver feature.

#2. Limit The Number Of Videos You Watch

Basically you should know that streaming unnecessary videos take a lot of data. Why will you spend your data looking at girls on Snapchat that would keep staring at the camera without saying anything?.. It's your data but if you want to save it, you'd better watch videos once in a while. If you're data connection isn't too strong, buffering will definitely eat up a lot of data. You could find third party apps that let you download the video instead.


#3 Turn Off Background Data For All The Apps

This is the first rule of saving data. For most Android devices, head over to your settings and select data usage. Click on any of the apps then turn off background data. Turning this feature off simply means that you won't receive any messages or notifications from the app unless you're running the app. So your data is safe and protected from waste.

A lot has happened since the development of autonomous vehicles .These cars have experienced crashes and in cases had their controls hacked. Some people still say that the cars are still in beta and by the end of 2020 most of the bugs will be fixed but many of them forget the fact that Autonomous Vehicles are run by A.I programs which may be vulnerable to attacks. Like most computer programs, companies tend to fix bugs after the security of the program has been breached or a flaw has been discovered.

When the autonomous vehicles are now released for public use, you may hear a sad story of how a man unsuspectingly got into his car only to discover that the security has been breached and his car’s A.I system has been hacked.


A security breach, one that may cost the person his life. If it’s a flying taxi, the same theory applies too. Stories of crashes due to hacks will be endless. Everything seems like a script from a Sci-Fi movie but that’s the future we are slowly heading towards.

If you take a time machine to the time of Alexander the Great and tell him that you could take his picture and post it all over the world in a second, trust me you’ll be accused of sorcery. People during that time period would not even believe the world could advance as much as it has now.


I’m not against the use of autonomous vehicles but once the use of these machines cannot guarantee the safety of its users it should not be used. Security and Privacy seem like an illusion, nothing is guaranteed to be 100 percent safe. Until Autonomous Car Companies can guarantee that our lives will not be taken by a hacker’s touch of a button, we’re better off driving on our own with the A.I as an assistant.

Robots are actually meant to assist us but they may end up ruining our lives. Have a look at the short fiction below:

A man comes home from work looking gloomy. He parks his car and sits in the living room looking worried.

‘Darren, you look sad, what’s the problem?’ , his wife asks as she sits down beside him.

‘I’ve been saving up for Cheryl’s college fees and I hoped to complete the remaining couple of dollars from my salary this month and guess what, My boss fired me because he got a robot that handles the calculations faster than me’.



It may be fiction now but in a couple of years it’s certainly going to be real. A lot of people would lose their jobs and be replaced by machines. In future, if humans don’t take a moment to understand what is actually happening, the only jobs that’ll be left will probably be I.T related jobs.

You won’t need a cleaner, gardener, drycleaner or tailor because there’ll probably be robots that do their jobs more efficiently but the question still remains -What will happen to those who do these jobs?


A.I is unarguably the future of technology but it may actually ruin our lives. A.I is aimed at making our lives easier but it’s a little bit similar to a video game. Playing easy mode sucks but the advanced mode makes it more fun. It’s a two way sword.

The offline mode will be a bit limited as you will only be able to see what has already been downloaded, meaning fresh content will be missing completely. Regardless, It's an addition that'll come in handy from time to time

A few days ago, A former employee of Snapchat revealed that Evan Spiegel (Snapchat CEO) made a remark in 2015 that Snapchat was originally meant for rich people not poor countries like India and Spain.

Apparently this didn't go down too well with the Indians and sparked rage online. In response to that anonymous Indian hackers have claimed to leak the database of 1.7 million Snapchat users, which they hacked last year.


According to the hackers, they had found vulnerability in Snapchat database last year and had siphoned details of 1.7 million users.

Hackers leaked and made this data based available on the darknet to mark their resentment against the company's remark on India.Indian hackers are among one of the best in the world of IT and experts at bounty hunting.


Hackers said they had found the bug earlier but never used the data but the 'arrogance' of the Snapchat CEO annoyed them.

A lot of Bloggers know how difficult it is to get approval into the Google Adsense program currently and now it seems Vloggers are about to have their own taste of the bitter medicine as YouTube launches strict rules for Approving channels to show ads.


It's a very painful decision though. The company announced in a blog post that it will not serve ads on videos produced by channels with fewer than 10,000 total views. That means any new creators looking to be in the YouTube Partner Program will have to wait until they accrue 10,000 total views on videos on their channel before they can start showing ads and collecting revenue.


Getting 10K views isn't going to be easy. Unless you can create a viral video or run an ad you'll definitely find it difficult to get even 1000views.


Currently anyone can still apply to be in the YouTube Partner Program, but YouTube does state in the blog post that it'll be adding a review process for new applicants in the coming weeks. It appears future applicants won't be accepted into the Partner Program until they surpass that 10,000-view milestone.

"After a creator hits 10k lifetime views on their channel, we’ll review their activity against our policies," YouTube's blog post states. "If everything looks good, we’ll bring this channel into YPP and begin serving ads against their content. Together these new thresholds will help ensure revenue only flows to creators who are playing by the rules."


Monetization through the YouTube Partner Program is just one way of making money off YouTube content. You can monetize your channel without being in the program by creating a free Google AdSense account. This will place things like banner ads over your videos as they're being viewed, and you get paid if the viewer clicks on the ad.
