Far from it! It was a mixed group of people from different ethnicities. Yoruba, Ibo, Hausa, male and female, etc.

Infact, in the Lekki area, some folks of Northern origin were caught looting. So, it was a mixed bag of opportunists who took time to loot and burn, and such incidents must NOT be allowed to be repeated. Spontaneous riots in Lagos State for instance can be very deadly because things spiral out of control very quickly and people get trapped and mugged or raped because they can't get vehicles to transport them back home. Since the violent anti-SAP protests and riots of 1989 against the military dictatorship of IBB (which I witnessed) and which was led by University students, labor unions, and members of the public, I've come to realize that protests should NEVER be allowed to fester for days in a place like Lagos State and even other major cities because they quickly get hijacked and spiral out of control leading to massive destruction and death.

So why were the media carrying only Igbos for being arrested and jailed like you have been showing me, can you show just one publication of any Yoruba person or any other tribe that was arrested and jailed and it was publicized for the destruction of endsars in Lagos?

It's okay but that wrong move was what led to your downfall...otherwise, you'd have had your Biafra dream come true. But you decided to wake a sleeping giant and u deliberately stepped on the tail of the rattlesnake...You got bitten.

The most worrisome of this is that you don't seem to have learnt your lessons. Your new brand of leaders are on top gear to annex part of Yorubaland again this time. They already have Warri, Edo as part of their Biafra map.
I can assure you, you will fail again...only this time, your losses would be uncountable both in human and material losses and once you failed again this second time, that dream for Biafra will be dead forever.

I only hope that you guys would be contented with what is yours alone and not to covet any part of Yorubaland...from Warri westward. Anything short of that will lead to a brutal failure on ur part.

Declare Biafra and stay within your territory ALONE. If you could do that, I can assure you 100%, The Yorubas of today will not bother you at all and will NOT join any war against you.

It was not a wrong move cause we will do it again and again if that's the only option we have, and that was not the cause of the loss of the war, it was the help of the british that helped Nigeria.

Away from that, you make it sound like Nigeria did not force the Igbos to come back, Igbos left peacefully and Nigeria declared war and attacked first and fought the Igbos to bring them back by force..

And for your claims that it was the south south territory claiming by the Igbos that caused Nigeria to start attacking Biafra....

So after Nigeria conquered the south south and took over the territory of the south south from Biafra, why did Nigeria advance to the south east to continue, why didnt they tell Biafrans that we have taken what we wanted, you people can have your landlocked region according to you?

Or when they even advanced and conquered the whole south east and Biafrans surrendered, even if Nigeria carved out additional part of the current south east to take with the entire south south to themselves and given the Igbos the remaining part to have their Biafra after Ojukwu fled, would the Igbos have really had a choice?

Is that what Nigeria did after the conquest of both south south and the south east from the hands of Biafra?

It clearly shows you Nigeria wanted the Igbos back by force and had nothing to do with territory...

I don't want you to continue with the deflecting that you're doing here or get dragged into any ethnic back and forth. I only got into the convo to correct the misleading info you gave that no Ibo made inciting comments or took part in the EndSARS destruction of property in Lagos in October 2020. There were some Ibos who were arrested in Lagos for taking part in the EndSARS destruction like a certain Chinaza who was tried and sentenced to jail. All these can be verified.

If you read my post properly, I attached screenshots from Vanguard and Guardian to that post and CLEARLY stated that Ohaneze CONDEMNED Nnamdi Kanu for inciting people on his pirate radio station in London while he monitored the real-time destruction of specific locations by hoodlums. He was clearly being given information by his ipob agents on the ground in Lagos then. This does not mean the generality of Ibos are guilty and that is why Ohaneze condemned Ipob and Nnamdi for making reckless comments on radio. Even at the Lekki Tollgate, some Ibo youngsters were recorded singing one of the biafra songs used during the Nigerian Civil War in defiance when the military told all of those young protesters to leave because a curfew had been imposed by the Governor, but they refused to leave. Period.

Below is the audio of where Nnamdi Kanu instructed his people to burn Sanwoolu, Tinubu, and Lagos airport.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZimvz1eIps

Ohaneze had already made a rebuttal rebuking Kanu for his rabid utterances and here again is the proof of Kanu's irresponsible speech.

Below is the link to the Ohaneze rebuttal on Vanguard.

Yes, after the declaration, Nigeria{Hausa/Fulani Soldiers} attacked first, and in retaliation, Ojukwu started marching towards Yorubaland...why? why couldn't he face the North from Benue upwards...why direct ur army towards Ondo State?

At the bold...
I know everything about the war..i was born in the midst of it...my father was in the war front. He enlisted in the Army as most Yorubas did when it was obvious Ojukwu was coming to overrun Yorubaland and he has gotten to Ore.

Where was the seat of power ? In the north abi?

We were going to capture Gowon and he was in Lagos, so how did you expect us to start heading north to do what there? to remove the Emir of Kano? grin

It's not rubbish

Ojukwu caused Yorubas joining the war. He captured Okitipupa and was already attacking Ore when Yorubas ogarnised and drove them back.

If Ojukwu had declared Biafra and stayed to defend their territory alone, Yorubas wouldn't have joined the war.

Let me ask you who attacked first Nigeria or Biafra?

Let me know if you actually know what you are saying....

" Civil war was a clear genocide by Britain against the people of Biafra for seeking right to self determination".

The Answer is NO.
The IGBOS ATTACKED ORE TOWN NEAR LAGOS IN YORUBA CLAN, IN THEIR CRUDE STRATEGY TO UNDUELY FORCE THE YORUBAS TO JOIN THEM TO ATTACK THE NORTH.
RATHER THAN GET THE COLLUSION THEY INADVERTENTLY SOUGHT, THE YORUBAS RETALIATED AND THE NORTH JOIN THE YORUBAS TO DISCIPLINE SATAN.

He is bitter that he was not picked for VP
Obi said he would remove subsidy on day one

Atiku said he would remove it within his first hundred days
They campaigned on that Issue
Nigerians knew Tinubu would do it and still voted him.
The consequences are painful but no one has told us a credible alternative
The botomline is even if there was no will to remove it there was no choice because Nigeria has reached the pont of borrowing from IMF and IMF simply will not lend money for subsidy. So blaming Tinubu or any other president is futile it is either the subsidy goes or the government shuts down and stops paying salaries and defaults on loan repayments.
When nearly 100% of revenues is going on debt servicing how does government continue that?

Oga, if 2 men tell you they will sleep with thejr wives at the same time, does it mean they will do it the same way?

Below is the an October 2020 Vanguard newspaper edition (Guardian also published it) showing the guys at Ohaneze condemning Kanu for irresponsibly making highly inciting radio comments calling for the destruction of Yoruba assets in Lagos State during EndSARS. This is the viral inciting comment from ipob what many Yoruba and non-Yoruba folks heard that lead to the initial conclusions that Ibos were behind the destruction in Lagos by fueling the protest with highly inciting comments.

=>https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/10/endsars-ohanaeze-ndigbo-disown-nnamdi-kanu-on-destruction-of-yoruba-assets/

Yoi see that's the problem with you guys sometimes, you guys just generalize, so because Nnamdi Kanu told IPOB to burn properties in Lagos, you are attributing it to all Igbos...

That is like saying in 1999 when OPC where killing people in Lagos, the Igbos now claimed that Yorubas are the ones killing other tribes in Lagos....

And even with what MNK said, was there any actual evidence the IPOB actually acted upon his instructions?
