Missy - I wish you could come spend 3days with me in ijebu so that I could inject cosmic intelligence into you through a 7-hour marathon acrobatic sexual ritual that would then de-brainwash you from your years of accumulated Amerikan lies & propaganda. grin

Russia is irrelevant in the scheme of things but she is the only single greatest threat to Amerika & her evil dreams today.

Russia is irrelevant in the scheme of things but she demonstrated, to the whole universe, the ability to block Amerika’s intended military attacks on Syria & Iran and even got a standing ovation from some NATO countries.

Russia is irrelevant in the scheme of things but she foiled Amerika's coup in Ukraine - orchestrated in broad-day light for the sole purpose of hijacking the Russian Black Sea naval base. grin

Missy, aside from the fact that I am a little busy this morning, I have no energy to start debating with you forward & backward like you usually do with Appleyard, Shymm3x & Nairaminted - Nagode! grin

"Debate" ke? Seems you didn't catch my statement regarding this matter:

Foreign Affairs / Re: Rs-28 Sarmat – Formidable Weapon To Counter Us Pgs And Bmd Plans by NairaMinted: 10:11am On May 17, 2016
Western Propagandists Can't Handle the Sarmat

The work of Western propaganda is hard. High-ranking officials overseas declare Russia's economy is “in tatters”, the foreign press reprints their words with malice, but our economy is still alive. The specialists of the Washington propaganda machine release another fake, and it gets immediately refuted with facts.

And it happens that the Western media along with foreign official agencies themselves throw sand in the wheels of the local propagandists. For example, a year ago, "Radio Liberty" attacked the Russian military-industrial complex. Allegedly, the frequency of appearance of new products of the domestic military industry is not significant, because if war suddenly breaks out Russia would still go to battle with the junk and so-so new equipment: "Armata" tank stalled, while the remaining promising products — are "paper" samples and prototypes.

But to the West, this sedative pill from journalists has not worked. Smashing to smithereens the arguments of "Radio Liberty" about the corruptible state of the Russian military industry, the Pentagon and foreign media repeatedly reached panic mode while discussing Russian new designs.

For example, modelling of a tank battle between the stalled and nothing to worry about "Armata" and the American "Abrams", the Pentagon came to the conclusion that the Russian tank is an extremely dangerous opponent for the US equipment, a serious threat to infantry and almost invulnerable to the aerial attack.

The US also fears other news from our Defense Ministry and the MIC. For example, recently the U.S. military expressed concern about the development of Russian space technologies threatening military satellites of the Pentagon in the long term. The development of an underwater drone has also not escaped attention of the US military.

Here's another example. Less than a month ago, Deputy head of the Cyber command of the Armed Forces of the United States Ronald Pontius acknowledged that his country cannot keep up with the development of our military equipment, in particular, in his opinion, the danger of Russian reconnaissance aircraft, which the United States has nothing to oppose Also, according to the U.S. Department of Defense, America has nothing to counter our success in working on modern electronic warfare systems.it.

However, the danger in the sky is not only our aircraft, but also strategic weapons of Russia. The American missile defense system does not guarantee absolute protection, even with the current balance of power, not to mention the terrible new products of Russia’s Military industry. According to the commander of Russian Strategic Missile Forces Colonel General Sergey Karakayev, the development of the US missile defense system "does not currently lead to critical reduction of the combat capabilities of the Russia strategic missile troops".

Moreover, Russia considers the development of US missile defense, while planning the design of new Russian weapons.

"The implementation of our plans involves the use of fundamentally new and effective means and ways of overcoming any missile defense," says Sergey Karakayev.

One of these designs is the "Sarmat" Intercontinental Ballistic Missile - an article about which has already been published on the website "PolitiRussia".

"For its weight and size characteristics it is similar to its predecessor (SS-18 “Satan”). But along with this we will have new types of combat equipment, a promising means of overcoming missile defenses. Most importantly, the complex is being developed and will be manufactured at the enterprises of the Russian cooperation," said Sergei Karakayev, describing the missile.

Overcoming the enemy defenses in this case is one of the main highlights of the novelty.

"The main requirement for the new missile is a flexible response to the development of the US national missile defense system until 2030. In addition, energy should allow the missile to strike at targets not only across the North but also across the South pole," explains the former chief of staff of the strategic missile forces Viktor Yesin.

"The new missile will be able to withstand the space echelon strike weapons, and it can be launched from almost any area and in all directions," - said Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov, describing the capabilities of the missile.

Unusual attacks, for example via the South Pole, add a headache to the American missile defense system. But many more dangers is the hypersonic combat equipment of the missile. A year ago, The Washington Times wrote that America cannot defend itself against such systems.

Moreover, if these missiles will be deployed near the village of Dombrovsky, as planned, according to the newspaper, the US will not be able to shoot them down on the approach, but also to destroy them at home. The appearance of such missiles, said Janes Information Group, will become a serious trump card for Russia in the negotiations on limiting strategic nuclear arms.

The test of the "Sarmat" missile had been scheduled for the spring of this year, but it is already the second time they have moved it. The first launch did not take place because of the unpreparedness of a launch facility. Now problems have arisen in the rocket itself.

"It's a completely new product. It is clear that testing of new equipment can go wrong. And here, I think, we should not seek some kind of malice or far-reaching consequences. And, of course, it is better to identify problems with equipment before start than after..." said the chief editor of the "Arms Export" magazine Andrey Frolov.

"These are the risks, the things that you would expect. And I would not serve this situation from the point of view that, they say, as we all bad. We are not bad. The fact that we identified the problem in advance is good. Much better than if a rocket fell on someone's head" - the expert of Association of military political scientists, associate Professor of political science and sociology REU nam. Plekhanov Alexander Perendzhiev said in agreeement.

And despite the rescheduling of the test for the West it is extremely difficult to gloat about it in the press, given the panic foreign media expressed about the development of the "Sarmat" in recent years.

For example, the day before the release of information about the delay, several British media agencies published horror inducing articles about the Russian missile. The Daily Mirror, Daily Express, Daily Star, and Daily Record at the same time labored panic materials that were dispersed in the Western sector of the world wide web.

"It's a doomsday weapon so powerful that in just a few seconds can wipe a vast territory off the face of the Earth. The West has nothing to counter it, so it can easily bypass all missile defense systems", - said the newspaper, quoting British experts.

"A huge area" comparable, for example, with the state of Texas or France as a whole. The long range of the missile also scares the British. The "Sarmat" is able to both the West and the East coast of the United States or to get into the center of London, they write.

However, it was not only the British who were alerted — the American press also wrote about the "Sarmat" cautiously, albeit more restrained. Ahead of the English counterparts, National Interest has pleased us with publications about the promising missile.

"The United States is significantly behind Russia in the development of land-based ICBMs... the project of the European missile defense and ground-based missile defense system midcourse flight (complex missile defense designed to intercept approaching warheads) in the foreseeable future will not be effective against Russian missiles," - makes a disappointing conclusion to the publication.

Whatever rocket did not come to replace the current US "Minuteman-3", it is unlikely it will be as awesome as the Russian, sums up the author of the National Interest.

Moreover, while the development of a new ICBM will be completed, the Russian missile defense system, too, will not stand still.

"We are working on the modernization of the "Minuteman", but the command of the US air force told Congress that this outdated system is unlikely to provide guaranteed containment in connection with the improvement of missile defenses," says the publication.

Maybe I would like to believe Western propaganda that carefully describes the decline of the Russian armed forces. But how to do it when the live reaction of the foreign press on the coming test of only one of our missiles is so eloquent?

My Luv, I do not like it when you talk down on Russia while trying so hard to portray Amerika as a wealthy Nation, when it is glaringly evident that your world’s largest paper economy is on the brink of bankruptcy and her end is nearer than you can imagine.

Amerika lives on borrowed money, which it forces the rest of the world to pay for, with official debt of about 20Trillion Dollars, while unofficial (the real & actual figure) stands at $65Trillion Dollars. grin

A man from Utah recently died for unpaid medical debt and here you are over-hyping Amerika.

Missy - over 40 million Amerikans hold student loans and about 70% of bachelor’s degree recipients graduate with debt - Amerikan Dream indeed. grin

Heck! Even Walmart just closed 154 of its giant stores, not to talk of other store chains like J.C. Penney, Kmart, RadioShack & Sears closing thousands of their outlets every week. grin

Worse still, since the deal between that Amerikan asshole - John Kerry & Saudi King Abdullah in September, 2014 to flood the world with cheap Saudi oil to create a crisis for Russia, unfortunately for them, the worst hit in the unfolding crisis has been the Amerikan oil and gas industry, mainly shale oil & gas.

Jobs in the oil & gas sector are vanishing, companies going bankrupt, households choking in debt & unemployment sky-rocketing to a dizzying height. Talking about unemployment, do not be deceived by the mythical 5% declared by the Amerikan Labor Department but more like 30 fvcking % - You should know Amerika was built on lies & propaganda. grin

Well, while debt is a strategic factor in the existence of any national economy, it has historically also been the factor that ruined many nations, and Amerika seems to be next in line - but first, we will kill the Petrodollar grin

So, I leave you with this beautiful video which I watch before retiring to bed every night while instructing Obatala to bring it to pass - very quickly. grin

I hear that this Sarmat is unmatched in the annals of ICBMs. That there is no defense against it so much so that even Western news media and analysts have grudgingly admitted so. I'll look for that article and post it.

Turns out all those "moderate rebels" Syria and the Russians have been exterminating were reprehensible terrorists all along.

Just because the Amerika doesn't list them as terrorists doesn't mean they aren't actually terrorists - it just means the Amerika wants to justify why it is arming and funding literal Al Qaeda terrorists.

Amerikan-backed terrorists are working in tandem with Al Nusra AND ISIS. They have been since day one. Since before day one.

Historical speech of Brazilian President Dilma Roussef (with English Subtitles)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nerJLJsOCSc

Transcript:

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, journalists.
Good morning, here’s Congressmen, Ministers,
Good morning everyone here.
I will make a statement to the press, so it’s not an interview, it is a statement.
I wanted first to tell you, and say also, to all Brazilians, that the impeachment process was opened by the Senate, and ordered the suspension of my term of office for a maximum period of 180 days.
I was elected president by 54 million Brazilian citizens, and it is in this condition, the condition of a President elected by 54 million, that I address you at this decisive moment for Brazilian democracy and our future as a nation.
What is at stake in the impeachment process is not only my mandate, what is at stake is the respect to the polls, the sovereign will of the Brazilian people and the Constitution.
What is at stake are the achievements of the last thirteen years, the gains of the poorest people, as well as the gains of the middle class. The protection of children, young people access to Universities and to Technical Schools.
The value of the minimum wage, doctors attending to the population. The realization of the dream of home ownership with “Minha Casa, Minha Vida”.
What is at stake is also the great finding of Brazil, the pre-salt.
What is at stake is the future of the country, the opportunity and hope to move forward forever more.
Before the Senate decision, I want once again to clarify the facts and report the risks to the country of a fraudulent impeachment: a real coup.
Since I was elected, the opposition, dissatisfied, called recount, tried to nullify the elections and then went on to openly conspiring for my impeachment.
They plunged the country in a permanent state of political instability, preventing the recovery of the economy, with the sole purpose of taking by force what they did not win at the polls.
My government has been the target of intense and incessant sabotage.
The clear objective has been preventing me to rule and thus forge the environment conducive to the coup.
When an elected president is revoked on charges of a crime he did not commit, the name given to it in the democratic world is not impeachment: it is a coup.
I have not committed a crime of responsibility, there is no reason for impeachment proceedings, I do not have accounts abroad, I never received bribes, I never condoned corruption.
This process is a fragile process, legally inconsistent, an unfair process, initiated against an honest and innocent person.
It is the largest of the brutalities that can be committed to any human being: to punish him for a crime he did not commit.
There is no more devastating injustice than to condemn the innocent.
Injustice is irreparable evil.
This legal farce, that I am facing, is due to the fact that, as president, I never accepted blackmail of any kind.
I may have made mistakes but have not committed crimes. I am being judged unfairly by having done all that the law authorizes me to do.
The acts I practiced were legal acts, correct, necessary acts, acts of government.
Similar acts were performed by the previous Brazilian presidents, before me.
It was not a crime in their time, and also is not a crime now.
They accuse me of having published six supplementation Decrees, six additional credit Decrees and, in so doing, have committed crime against the Budget Law – LOA.
It is false because the Decrees followed authorizations provided by law.
They treat as a crime an everyday management act.
They accuse me of delaying payments of “Plano Safra”, it is false.
I have not determined anything about it. The law does not require my participation in the implementation of this Plan (“Plano Safra”).
My accusers can not even say which unlawful act I have practiced.
What act? Which act?
Moreover, nothing was left to be paid, or any debt remained.
Never in a democracy, the legitimate mandate of an elected president can be stopped because of legitimate acts of budget management.
Brazil can not be the first to do this.
I would also like to address the entire population of my country saying that the coup aims not only to revoke me, to remove a president elected by the vote of millions of Brazilians – direct vote in a fair election.
To dismiss my government, they want actually prevent the execution of the program that was chosen by the majoritarian votes of the 54 million Brazilians.
The coup d’état threatens to ravage not only democracy, but also the achievements that the population reached in recent decades.
All this time, I have been also a zealous guarantor of the democratic rule of law.
My government has not committed any repressive act against social movements, against collective protests, against protesters of any political position.
The risk, the greatest risk to the country at this time is to be directed by a government without any votes.
A government that was not elected by direct vote of the population, a government that will have the legitimacy to propose and implement solutions to the challenges of Brazil.
A government may be tempted to crack down on protesting against him.
A government that is born of a coup.
A fraudulent impeachment.
Born of a kind of indirect election.
A government that is, himself, a big reason for the continuing political crisis in our country.
So, I tell you, all of you, I’m proud to be the first woman elected president of Brazil.
I am proud to be the first woman elected president of Brazil.
In those years, I have exercised my mandate in a dignified and honest way, honoring the votes I received.
On behalf of those votes, and on behalf of all the people of my country, I will fight with all legal instruments available to me to exercise my mandate until the end of my presidencial term, 31st December, 2018.
Destiny always got me many challenges, many great challenges, some appeared to me insuperable, but I managed to overcome them.
I have suffered the unspeakable pain of torture.
The agonizing pain of the disease.
And now I suffer again, the equally unspeakable pain of injustice.
What hurts the most right now is injustice.
What hurts most is to realize that I am the victim of a legal farce and politics.
But I do not subside, I look back and see everything we did.
I look forward and see everything we still need and can do.
The most important is that I can look at myself and see the face of someone who, even marked by time, have the strength to defend ideas and rights.
I fought my whole life for democracy.
I learned to trust the capacity of struggle of our people. I have lived many defeats, and lived big wins.
I confess that I never imagined it would be necessary to fight back against a coup in my country.
Our young democracy, made of struggles, made of sacrifices, even deaths, does not deserve it.
In recent months, our people took to the streets. It took to the streets in defense of more rights, more advances. That’s why I’m sure that people will know to say no to the coup.
Our people are wise, and has historical experience.
Brazilians who are contrary to the coup, regardless of party positions, to all of them I make a call: remain mobilized, united and at peace.
The struggle for democracy has no end date.
It is permanent struggle, which requires us constant dedication.
The fight for democracy, I repeat, has no end date.
The fight against the coup is long, it is a fight that can be won, and we will win.
This victory depends on us all.
Let’s show the world that there are millions of supporters of democracy in our country.
I know, and many here know, especially our people know that history is made through fighting.
And it is always worth fighting for democracy.
Democracy is the right side of history.
We will never give up, I will never give up fighting.
Thank you all very much.

Blessed be Vladimirovich Putin - The Lord our strength which teacheth our hands to war, and our fingers to fight:

Our goodness, and our Nuclear fortress; our high tower, our deliverer; our missile defense shield, and he in whom we trust; who subdueth Amerika, Israel, France, Turkey, Saudi-Arabia & Britain under us.

Lord, what is Amerika, that thou takest knowledge of her! or Israel, that thou makest account of her?

Amerika is like vanity: and her days are like shadow that passeth away.

Bow thy Ilyushin Il-96 Presidential Jet, O Lord, and come down: touch Turkey & Saudi-Arabia with Iskander-M, and they shall smoke. grin

Cast forth Topol-M, and scatter them: shoot out thine Bulava, and destroy them.

Send thine hand from above; rid the world, and deliver her out of great waters, from the shackles of Amerika & her AngloZionist empire - whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

We will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will we sing praises unto thee.

It is Vladimirovich Putinski that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth Bashar Al-Assad his friend from the hurtful sword of NATO & Amerika's liver-eating terrorists in Syria. grin

Rid the world, and deliver her from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:

That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:

That I may marry Missy89, Mizmycoli, Houseofglam7, Sinaj, Raayah, & Itannooluwa; that they may bear me 6 sons & 4 daughters each in my palace in Ijebu. grin

That we may divide all the Amerikan Banks, Telecoms, Oil & Gas, Aviation, Transport, Automobile & Defense Firms among the Nairaland's league of Russian 5star Generals - Appleyard, Nairaminted, Scully95, Capip120, Poseidon000, Fineguy11, Shymm3x, 1Tkester, Bonechamberlain, Seunny4lif, Romme2u, Jnhmaxxwell, Stalwert, Panafrican, Seagulsntrawler, NaijaTalkTown & Januzaj. grin

That we may subject Mazeltov, Vedaxcool, ValerianSteel, Obagadaffi & Lucasbalo to house mountain arrest on mount kilimanjaro - leaving them with only 5 British heated blankets, 5 Israeli Mattresses, 5 Turkish Pillows, 5 Saudi-Arabian donkeys (for their sexual pleasure), 5 French solar-powered lanterns, 1 Amerikan goat (for Asun) & 5 crates of Orijin. grin cheesy grin

That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:

That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets. That there be no more Amerikan sponsorship of terrorists like ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Al-Shabab & Boko-Haram; that there be no more Amerika & Israeli assassination plots & usurpation of foreign governments.

Happy is that people, that is in such a case: Yea, happy is that people, whose God is Vladimirovich Putin. grin

grin grin grin

But seriously though, are you a leader in church or perhaps you took your bible lessons too seriously as a kid?

Your comment shows that you know nothing about R&grin.

I'm an Electronics Engineering Student I've done plenty of Projects and I was part of a group of students who where Chosen by my Lecture to help him design and build a new circuit board for Company I'm not aloud to name.
The final stages of the project were the worst we spent close to three months doing trial and error, just when you thought you had it right it, something else would go wrong or we would discover a new flaw.

Point is making something that is perfect tends to take a sh*t long time and effort but eventually you'll get it right.

If recent advances in Radar have erased what stealth has, then why is Russia still pushing forward with building a stealth fighter, not forgetting China who are also spending billions on perfecting stealth Tech, it seems as though you know more about stealth than those countries.

Who will deal with the F-22 while your Su-35s are fighting the F-35.

These stealth fighter jets were conceptualized way before these advances in radar technology. R& D was way underway before radar technology caught on. As a matter of fact the original materials used to coat these jets to give them their stealth capabilities are now obsolete and substituted with new ones because radars caught on at some point. Just because some countries now have the technology to detect these jets doesn't render the jets totally useless in all theatres of war or in some circumstances.
It's like saying since Tesla is so good at making electric cars, we should immediately get rid of all fuel powered ones. There's a need (and a market) for electric cars as there is for those powered by fossil fuels

Lol these people are bragging about a jet whose Engines haven't even been completed yet.

By the time the T-50 reaches the same level of testing the F-35 is in right now, we'll be seeing COMPLETED F-35s shooting down the T-50s doing trail runs.

Uncompleted, under development, etc is very different from completed yet beset with a myriad of problems. The folly of the Amerikans was to throw in so much sophistication and cutting edge technology into one machine.

Besides recent advances in radar tech only has erased whatever edge stealth had.

Besides I am willing to bet the balance in my account that fighters such as the SU-35s would fare well against this Louis Vuitton fighter jet

BTW; I thought Amerika sent some F-35 coffins to the Baltic some weeks ago. Y haven't they flown over the Russian airspace yet? grin My guess is - fear of being knocked out by the Russian S-400s/S-500s ADS grin

Speaking of the F-35s, those have turned out to be one very expensive joke which works exactly like a problematic computer that you constantly need to manually switch on and off to get it functioning again! I wonder what would happen when this aircraft gets engaged by enemy aircraft? Would the pilot of the F-35 respectfully ask for time out to reboot his system and re-engage? grin

Who are those posting articles on just how wonderful and impressive this flying piece of junk is? Oya come and defend this. Check out this damning article:

http://dailym.ai/1Wry46V
http://www.marinecorpstimes.com/story/defense/air-space/2016/05/10/f-35-test-pilot-edwards-air-force-development/84042220/

#Major Raven LeClair, of the 461st flight test squadron, begins his day at around 10am by checking the plane for any issues.
It immediately became clear that the day's testing would not pass without a hitch, with an alarm sounding as soon as he got to the aircraft.

#The 'nuisance ICAW' - standing for indications, cautions and warnings - was a false sign that the 270-volt battery that starts the plane had failed.

#Perhaps proving that 'turning it off and on again' will fix anything, the false alarm stopped after the plane's power unit was shut down and switched back on twice.

#LeClair and his team - who were hoping to test the F-35 while carrying its full AIM 9X and AIM 120 missile payload - then found that the $100million plane's warfare system would not start.

#They tried switching off different systems on board the plane but nothing worked.

#By 11.30am, the team had no choice but shut the whole jet down and start again, meaning most of the morning's work had been a waste of time.

#By noon, LeClair was in the air - but it did not take long for another technical problem to arise.

#The F-35 was grounded once more later in the afternoon after the system that allows the main computer on board the jet to communicate with the weapons system broke down.
The test team rebooted the weapons system and eventually got the plane going again.

#One of the main issues is an software glitch that interferes with the F-35's AN/APG-81 AESA radar working during flight.

#The Marines have already claimed their version of the plane, known as block 2B, is ready.
However, the report reveals serious problems with the computer software, including 'in fusion, electronic warfare, and weapons employment result[ing] in ambiguous threat displays, limited ability to respond to threats, and a requirement for off-board sources to provide accurate coordinates for precision attack.'

#The F-35 also has a smart parts system to ensure everything is working within its limits, and can warn when parts need to be replaced.
However, the computerized maintenance management System, or CMMS, 'incorrectly authorizes older/inappropriate replacement parts.' the report said.
It also fails to detect if it's been flying too fast and 'randomly prevented user logins' into its computerized control system.

#The cutting-edge F-35, which is meant to be the most sophisticated jet ever, was embarrassingly outperformed by a 40-year-old F-16 jet in a dogfight in July last year.

Zoharariel:

This is the last time I would ever respond to you on this B2-Spirit iish because I've noticed you're such an incorrigible brainwashed Amerikan dolt.

You asked for a link or a video, I provided the two but you still aren't satisfied obviously because Colonel Zoltan Dani wasn't interviewed by either Christiane Amanpour or Anderson Cooper in that video.

Here am I posting the youtube link again and if it's not acceptable to you, then it's your fvcking problem but that won't ever change the fact that a B2-spirit was blown into shreds over the Yugoslavian sky in 1999.

During that NATO bombing campaign, the Amerikans were so cocky and felt that their fancy techs were so much advanced than the soviet's that they needn't worry about anything the Serbs could ever come up with, in terms of military gears.

Unknown to them, Colonel Zoltan Dani had modified his P-18 radar so it would operate beyond the usual wavelength - setting frequency to the lowest while hoping to get radar returns from personal metal objects in the F-117's cockpit - and It worked. Meanwhile, the radar was constantly being relocated and was kept, as a default - off. When the pilot opened the bomb bay doors, it changed the F-117's radar signature enough to fire short-range S-125SAM with proximity fuses at them, and so 2 missiles were fired, - travelling at mach 3 - and Boom! 1 hit the F-117 and the other hit a B2-spirit which was pulling up in the rear of the F-117. The pilot of the F-117 (Colonel Dale Zelko) ejected and the plane fell near the village of Budjanovci in Serbia while the B2-Spirit crashed in Bosnia - 15km from the Serbian border - killing all the crew. And they covertly transferred the wreckage to the German NATO base in the middle of the night - using airforce transport planes. grin

Thereafter, the Serbian trope - “Sorry, we didn't know it was invisible, so we just shot it down” became so popular that even the locals were printing it on T-shirts. grin

Watch this video and ask yourself, after the war in 2002, Y was NATO's military delegation in Serbia, sharing questionnaires and asking s.tupid questions, not only about the F-117, but also about the B2-Spirit? Y? grin

During the war, the Serbs would re-wire (rig) microwave ovens so they would work open, then set them up at the end of a very long extension cords. Then the Amerikan a.ssholes (USAF) would think it was a radar and then shoot a multi-million dollar missile to destroy a $50 microwave oven grin

And when NATO discovered they couldn't outwit the Serbian/Yugoslav Army, they resorted to cowardly acts (Amerika's Forte grin ) by targeting & bombing civilian infrastructures, maternity hospitals, kindergartens, schools, grocery markets, chinese embassy and even a tobacco processing factory which Phillip Morris later bought for next to nothing after the war.

The Amerikans failed to understand that stealth technology doesn't make planes invisible (i.e to radar, infrared or any other part of the spectrum), it only reduces the reflections to those frequencies. And this is Y - The Russians, our Nairaland comrades & I are very confident & optimistic that the day Amerika & NATO engage Russia in war - relying on their overrated F-22 & F-35 flying coffins, brethren, there's no measure to how fast and how hard Mother Russia will take this fight to Amerika's doorstep - Goodnight! grin

Clap, clap, clap! Really Nairaland needs a clap emoticon

TTIP—American Economic Imperialism

Paul Craig Roberts

Greenpeace has done that part of the world whose representatives are so corrupt or so stupid as to sign on to the Trans-Pacific and Trans-Atlantic “partnerships” a great service. Greenpeace secured and leaked the secret TTIP documents that Washington and global corporations are pushing on Europe. The official documents prove that my description of these “partnerships” when they first appeared in the news is totally correct.

These so-called “free trade agreements” are not trade agreements. The purpose of the “partnerships,” which were drafted by global corporations, is to make corporations immune to the laws of soverign countries in which they do business. Any country’s sovereign law whether social, environmental, food safety, labor protections—any law or regulation—that impacts a corporation’s profits is labeled a “restraint on trade.” The “partnerships” permit corporations to file a suit that overturns the law or regulation and also awards the corporation damages paid by the taxpayers of the country that tried to protect its environment or the safety of its food and workers.

The law suit is not heard in the courts of the country or in any court. It is heard in a corporate tribunal in which corporations serve as judge, jury, and prosecutor.

In other words, the “partnerships” give global corporations the power to overturn democratic outcomes. Allegedly, Europe consists of democracies. Democracies pass laws protecting the environment and the safety of food and labor, but these laws democratically enacted reduce profits. Anything less than a sweatshop, with starvation wages, no environmental protection, no safety legislation for food or worker, can be overturned at will by global corporations under the terms of the “partnerships.”

Only a traitor, a well paid one, could sign such a pact.

In my opinion, corporate taxation can also be overturned as it obviously reduces profits.

The Trans-Atlantic and Trans-Pacific “partnerships” have been conducted in secrecy. The reason is obvious. Had people known how they were being sold out, there would have been a firestorm of protest. The corporate shills and their propagandists in the financial media could deny my revelations, because I had no official documents to release.

The “partnership” agreements are treaties. Under the US Constitution, treaties are the prerogative of Congress, not the prerogative of an executive brance appointed Trade Representative who represents not the people but the corporations seeking the advantage. To avoid the US Constitution, the agreements are defined as non-treaties. You see how the groundwork for corruption is established.

The way it works is that the appointed US Trade Representative “negotiates” with appointed trade representatives of other countries. Any resistance to the deal is overcome with bribes and intimidation. All of the negotiation is conducted in secrecy. When the trade representatives sign on to the deal, it is presented to the legislatures of the countries. The legislators are told that they must approve the pact and not endanger all the hard work that has gone on for so long and that is in everybody’s interest as attested to by all of the bribed and coerced trade representatives.

These “trade pacts” originate in the US, because American global corporations and the American mega-banks are the largest players in the world economy, and the agreements that the corporations walk through the process give the American companies economic hegemony over the countries that sign the agreements. The Trans-Atlantic and Trans-Pacific “partnerships” are tools of US financial imperialism.

Today (May 3, 2016) I debated on Press TV Sean O’Grady, the financial editor of the UK newspaper the Independent. It is extraordinary that O’Grady took a line totally opposite to that of his newspaper. I suggested to him that perhaps he should read his own newspaper.

Today an article in the Independent reported that the leaked “documents show that US corporations will be granted unprecedented powers over any new public health or safety regulations to be introduced in future. If any European government does dare to bring in laws to raise social or environmental standards, TTIP will grant US investors the right to sue for loss of profits in their own corporate court system that is unavailable to domestic firms, governments or anyone else. For all those who said that we were scaremongering and that the EU would never allow this to happen, we were right and you were wrong.”

As I understand it, the situation is worse than the article describes. TTIP applies to laws already on the books, such as France’s laws against GMO seeds and food products.

The Independent article continues:

“Today’s shock leak of the text of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) marks the beginning of the end for the hated EU-US trade deal, and a key moment in the Brexit debate. The unelected negotiators have kept the talks going until now by means of a fanatical level of secrecy, with threats of criminal prosecution for anyone divulging the treaty’s contents.

“Now, for the first time, the people of Europe can see for themselves what the European Commission has been doing under cover of darkness – and it is not pretty. The leaked TTIP documents, published by Greenpeace this morning, run to 248 pages and cover 13 of the 17 chapters where the final agreement has begun to take shape. The texts include highly controversial subjects such as EU food safety standards, already known to be at risk from TTIP, as well as details of specific threats such as the US plan to end Europe’s ban on genetically modified foods.

“The leaked texts also reveal how the European Commission is preparing to open up the European economy to unfair competition from giant US corporations, despite acknowledging the disastrous consequences this will bring to European producers, who have to meet far higher standards than pertain in the USA.

“According to official statistics, at least one million jobs will be lost as a direct result of TTIP – and twice that many if the full deal is allowed to go through. Yet we can now see that EU negotiators are preparing to trade away whole sectors of our economies in TTIP, with no care for the human consequences.

“The European Commission slapped a 30-year ban on public access to the TTIP negotiating texts at the beginning of the talks in 2013, in the full knowledge that they would not be able to survive the outcry if people were given sight of the deal. In response, campaigners called for a ‘Dracula strategy’ against the agreement: expose the vampire to sunlight and it will die. Today the door has been flung open and the first rays of sunlight shone on TTIP. The EU negotiators will never be able to crawl back into the shadows again.

“For those of us in the thick of the EU referendum debate, the contempt shown by the TTIP negotiators to the people of Europe is the most potent reminder of the democratic deficit at the heart of the EU institutions.”

You can read the Independent article here: http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/ttip-leaks-shocking-what-are-they-eu-us-deal-a7010121.html

The revelations are disconcerting for the British and European peoples. For example, the Independent reports that TTIP could cause the privitazation of the National Health Service and the UK Parliament would be powerless to stop it. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/ttip-could-cause-an-nhs-sell-off-and-parliament-would-be-powerless-to-stop-it-says-leading-union-a7006471.html
See also: http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/what-is-ttip-and-six-reasons-why-the-answer-should-scare-you-9779688.html

In our debate Sean O’Grady performed as a shill, a propagandist for the corporate interests behind TTIP. He said that it was a free trade agreement that benefitted everyone just as NAFTA and other such agreements have proved to be the case. Tell that to all the displaced American workers.

He said that it was unfortunate that the secrecy had possibly hurt the agreement’s prospects and that it would have been better if the pact’s provisions had been known as they were negotiated. That way, he said, the agreement would not be threatened by the shock effect of the leaked documents.

O’Grady also claimed that no one has thus far agreed to the pact despite the fact that the representatives have agreed to the pact. Perhaps what he means is that legislatures have not given their approval.

The headline on the Independent article thinks the leak will prevent approval: “After the leaks showing what it stands for, this could really be the end for TTIP.” If so, O’Grady regards it as a great loss. For the global corporations, of course, not for the peoples it would exploit.

The Greenpeace revelations should deep-six the pact, but I am uncertain. French president Hollande says, provisionally, that France will not sign the pact as it is. In other words, give us some fuzzy language to make it look like we got it fixed.

The EU’s chief negotiator, Ignacio Garcia Bercero, a likely recipient of a large bribe, rushed to the defense of TTIP by declaring Greenpeace to be “flatly wrong.” Bercero’s statement makes no sense. Greenpeace released the official documents. No one denies that the leaked documents are legitimate. So apparently Bercero’s position is that the official documents are wrong. He sounds like a guy working hard for his money.

Bercero, went on to say, according to the BBC, that “it is not correct to say the US is pushing for lowering of the level of protection in the EU.” This is an amazing lie ! Those who are trying to put a good face on the leak themselves admit that this is precisely what the US is trying to do. They claim that the Europeans haven’t yet given in.

It is disingeneous for Bercero or O’Grady or anyone to pretend that TTIP has not been from the very beginning about establishing global corporate hegemony over the governments of democratic countries. I pointed this out when the corporations first made their move. There is no doubt whatsoever that the Trans-Atlantic and Trans-Pacific “partnerships” are about giving global capitalism immunity from the laws of sovereign countries.

EU Trade Commissioner Cecilla Malmstroem is, according to the BBC, “steering the TTIP talks.” Malmstroem, another likely recipient of a large bribe, says: “I am simply not in the business of lowering standards.” http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36185746

Her statement is misleading. She is not in the business of lowering standards. She is in the business of making it possible for global capitalism to overthrow all standards, high and low.

From my encounter today with Sean O’Grady, a person whos integrity I no longer respect, I expect the corporate bought-and-paid-for Western financial press and governments to close ranks and discredit the leaked documents as some kind of Greenpeace “conspiracy theory.” Even in my presence, a former Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury and Wall Street Journal editor, O’Grady had no compunction about misrepresenting to my face the agreement as a good one harmed only by secrecy. If it hadn’t been secret, said O’Grady, it would have been OK.

All of the blather about free trade and tariff reduction is mere cover for the only purpose of TTIP, which is to establish American economic imperialism over the peoples whose governments sold them out for money

This dude is so deluded by the propaganda he posts on behalf of the land grabbing, apartheid, Zionist, murderous Israeli regime that he's making a case for the annexation of ALeppo! Wow!

Unlike the Golan Heights, Aleppo doesn't share a border with Israel. Aleppo is way up in the north, close to the Turkish border with several regions and cities such as Daraa, Hama, Idlib, Damascus - even a country, Lebanon - sandwiched inbetween. Just what connection, history or business does the apartheid regime of Israel have with Aleppo? Is this a case of Israel's proxy armies being surrounded and about to lose this strategic city, hence this ridiculous post about the guaranteed peace had Israel annexed it?

Greece to Act Against Anti-Russian Sanctions But Not Use Veto

A number of EU states, including Greece, will support the removal of the anti-Russian sanctions at a June EU summit, although Athens will not use its veto power if a decision to prolong the sanctions is taken, opting instead to act in a different way, a diplomatic source in Athens told RIA Novosti.

ATHENS (Sputnik) — According to the source, Italy, France, Germany and Austria support the removal of the sanctions against Russia and believe it is worth doing so now and not waiting for the results of the presidential elections in the United States.
"There will be no veto. Greece will try to act in a different way… We will look at the atmosphere and spirit of the summit and how other countries act and Greece will proceed from these things," the source said, commenting on a scenario where the European Union decides to prolong the anti-Russia sanctions.
According to the source, many countries in the European Union have connected the removal of sanctions with the implementation of the Minsk Agreements, however, this mood is changing and member states have started to realize that it is Kiev who should implement the deal.
"Kiev has been put under pressure regarding this issue and, in our opinion, it must be increased," the diplomat added.
Relations between Russia and the West declined with the early 2014 Crimean referendum to join Russia and the Ukrainian military offensive against pro-independence militia in the eastern region of Donbas.
Washington and Brussels imposed sanctions against Russian individuals and the Russian defense, energy and banking sectors in July 2014. Russia responded by introducing a year-long food embargo on imports from the United States, the European Union and other countries that targeted Russia, subsequently extending the current embargo until August 5, 2016.
The EU leaders summit is scheduled for June 28-29. Extending the EU economic sanctions against Russia, which are due to expire in July, is likely to be on the summit's agenda.

BOY ON BURNING DECK – WHAT THE USS DONALD COOK AND THE POLISH NAVY WERE DOING OFF KALININGRAD WHEN THEY WERE BUZZED BY THE RUSSIAN AIRFORCE

By John Helmer, Moscow
The confrontation last week between Russian aircraft and a US-Polish naval operation in the Baltic Sea, within shooting distance of Kaliningrad, was a long anticipated and professionally executed exercise by the military commanders of all three countries. “Unprofessional”, as Admiral Mark Ferguson commanding US Naval Forces in Europe called it, was the very least thing it was. But who provoked, who feinted, who attacked first, and who defended are questions the publicity that has followed is meant to obscure.

One outcome that was not anticipated by either the attackers or defenders has begun to materialize in Warsaw. There, the rhetoric of military buildup along Poland’s eastern frontier has run into the cold calculation that Poland’s survival chances aren’t likely to be much better than those of the USS Donald Cook, if there had been a real firefight, Turkish style.

The US destroyer Donald Cook is armed with the Aegis combat system, a combination of missiles intended to attack Russian nuclear, as well as non-nuclear missile batteries on land, sea, and in the air. The ship is normally docked at the NATO base at Rota, Spain. Between April 8 and 11, it was at the Polish port of Gdynia. The US Navy press reported the port call as part of the vessel’s “fourth forward-deployed patrol in support of ballistic missile defense of Europe…Such port visits serve to enhance U.S.-Polish relations as the two nations work together for a stable, secure and prosperous region.”

The Donald Cook departed from Gdynia on April 11 and sailed northeast to Klaipeda, Lithuania, where it made port on the morning of April 14. There isn’t a ferry between the two ports. Driving on land the long way around the Russian territory of Kaliningrad takes 8 hours. If there were a direct ferry, it would take no more than 6 hours. The US Navy destroyer took more than three days.

In the interval, steaming very slowly, the Donald Cook conducted exercises with SH-2G Super Seasprite helicopter units of the Polish Navy. At a distance of about 70 kilometres offshore from Kaliningrad and the Russian missile, naval and air base complex around Baltysk, the US-Polish operations were shadowed by units of the Russian Navy and Air Force. According to the US Navy version, in the mid-afternoon of April 11 the “Donald Cook was conducting deck landing drills with an Allied military helicopter when two Russian SU-24 jets made numerous, close-range and low altitude passes”.

After suspending the Polish helicopter landings for a time, the operation reportedly resumed. The next day, April 12, the US Navy says “a Russian KA-27 Helix helicopter conducted circles at low altitude around the ship, seven in total, at approximately 5 p.m. local. The helicopter passes were also deemed unsafe and unprofessional by the ship’s commanding officer. About 40 minutes following the interaction with the Russian helicopter, two Russian SU-24 jets made numerous close-range and low altitude passes, 11 in total. The Russian aircraft flew in a simulated attack profile and failed to respond to repeated safety advisories in both English and Russian.”

The last pass was videotaped on board, and the images published to the world by the Pentagon (lead image). By ignoring two days of more than 20 Russian aircraft sorties around the Donald Cook, it has been made to appear the two Su-24s were simulating a strafing attack. Subsequently, Secretary of State John Kerry announced: “It’s unprofessional and under the rules of engagement that could have been a shot down, so people need to understand that this is serious business and the United States is not going to be intimidated in high seas. We respect our freedom of navigation … and we are communicating to the Russians how dangerous this is.”

What actually had happened has been more precisely reported in the Polish press. There it has been revealed that the Russian aircraft were not armed with ordnance, but with electronic countermeasures pods designed for jamming hostile gunnery and missile targeting systems. If the commanders and their signals staff on board the Donald Cook were not themselves confused or jammed, they knew that the final two passes, after the nine earlier ones that afternoon, was anything but an attack simulation.

Source: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-36050689
The Polish state radio also reported the Ministry of Defence in Warsaw as claiming the joint US-Polish operation “will be practising take-offs and landings from the deck of the ship.” This, Polish defence reports say, was false. According to the Polish sources, the 20-year old helicopters have performed several thousand landings and takeoffs on Polish vessels at sea. The Polish state media have also reported that after the suspension of the April 11 operation, the buzzing the next day put a stop to the operation altogether. If true, the Su-24 “attack” achieved its purpose.

But what was the US and Polish purpose, and why were so many warnings issued by the Russian side, and ignored by the US and Polish commanders?

It was almost exactly two years ago that the USS Donald Cook was buzzed by a pair of Su-24s in the Black Sea. On that occasion the Russian aircraft made their passes at a slightly higher altitude. They too were equipped with electronic signal jammers. The operations were reported by the Russian side at the time as defensive of shore installations on Crimea and the mainland. In the Russian interpretation, each of the Donald Cook’s “forward deployed patrols” is an operation aimed at Russian naval and shore defences, and at Russia’s long-range nuclear missile deployments which are targeted at western Europe and the US. These include the mobile S-400s, nuclear armed, which have been reported to be moving in and out of Kaliningrad. As analysed here, “nothing an Aegis-armed missile battery does within range of Russia can be routine at any time.”

As a forward deployment of an anti-ballistic missile (ABM) system, the Donald Cook’s port-call in Poland, and its subsequent cruise across the Baltic to Lithuania, make, for the Russian side, a US violation of the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty of 2010, amounting to an “extraordinary event” and cause for Russia’s withdrawal from the pact, according to Article XIV. For the treaty wording, click to open. For an early assessment by the US Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists of how the two sides regard the US Navy’s Aegis deployments in the Black and Baltic Seas, read this. For a summary of Russian military interpretations of the Aegis deployments, before the start of the US campaigns on the Ukraine and Syrian fronts, read this.

The first three of the Donald Cook’s “patrols” were in the Black Sea. Last week, the Donald Cook was making its first foray against Russian targets under the Baltic Sea and onshore.

By the time the Donald Cook docked at Klaipeda, its captain, Commander Charles Hampton, had cleared with the Pentagon this statement: “The objection of the United States is not about fear but about safe and professional behaviour between international militaries in international airspace and international waters. The US Navy will continue to operate forward with allies and in doing so we will not cede space. As you have seen in the media, the flybys were very low, very fast – and were inconsistent with the normal operations of international militaries in international waters and in international airspace.”

The press did not ask Hampton to clarify what his vessel and the Polish units had been doing “operating forward”, and how their operation was “consistent with the normal operations of international militaries.”

The Polish state media and Polish political and military sources have answered some of these questions. In this report Polish Radio counted the number of Russian sorties flown over the Cook on April 11-12. The radio also reported that “because of the actions of the Russians” the Polish helicopter operation had been “cancelled”. In other Polish media, the Defence Ministry cover story for the operation was exposed. The four Polish Navy helicopters have so far practised a total of 3,600 landings and takeoffs on and from Polish Navy craft over the past decade.

Onboard US Navy photographs of the Polish Seasprite reveals it was operating a special piece of equipment. As the photographs below indicate, this is a device which can be dropped by the helicopter into the water and towed.

Its technical name is a towed magnetic anomaly detector. Combined with onboard radars, sea buoys and other devices, this equipment is designed for tracking and attacking submarines. For more on the operations plans of the Polish aircraft, read this.
What this suggests is that the Polish operation was aimed at Russian submarines below the Baltic surface, while the Donald Cook was testing operations against the Russian shore systems which defend against the US Aegis missiles.

A bulletin from the British think-tank Chatham House in London confirms that the US-Polish operation appeared to the Russian side as an attack simulation against Kaliningrad — and for that reason triggered the Russian response. “The videos and statements released by the US Navy give only a partial picture. The close fly-bys seen on video do not seem consistent with the ‘simulated attack profile’ which the US described the Russian aircraft as flying – but it has to be remembered that much of the Russian bombers’ activities would have been observed while the Donald Cook was tracking them long before they came into visual range. Other crucial aspects of the incident which remain undisclosed include what was happening in the electronic environment; what indication the Russian aircraft’s emissions, or lack of them, may have given of their actual intent. In particular, a lack of information on what other activities were taking place in the area at the time makes it hard to judge the picture as seen from Moscow – whether some kind of US or NATO activity there, either on or below the surface of the Baltic, was seen as a particular challenge by Russia which required a strong warning signal to be sent. Some Russian statements have tied this act of dangerous non-verbal communication to the fact that the Donald Cook was conducting training with a Polish aircraft within reach of Russia’s Kaliningrad Region.”
unnamed Polish analysts have gone further, pointing out that if the joint drill was part of a plan of attack against Russian targets, then Poland itself, like Ukraine, has become a “front-line state”.

Polish political analyst Stanislas Balcerac has commented skeptically: “Let’s see how much these are worth in practice, our alliances [with the US and with Germany]. And let’s not be afraid to take care of our rights and for adequate compensation. The Polish Navy is practising for a US attack on Kaliningrad by guarding the destroyers like the Donald Cook from Russian submarine interception, so “we have been caught provoking the Russians right at our very border. And since we have officially taken part in the surprise NATO military manoeuvre at armed-to-the-teeth Kaliningrad, and that has visibly upset the Russians, we should demand from our American allies compensation for the status of a front-line state, just like Egypt and Israel, which collect $ 3 billion in aid every year.”

According to Balcerac, the April 11-12 events surrounding the Donald Cook at sea last week have sharpened the policy conflicts between factions in the Polish government, presidency and General Staff. Some favour more reticence with Moscow, less reliance on security promises from the US and NATO. Others favour more confrontation with the Russians in order to attract greater US and NATO funding for the Polish budget.

Foreign Minister Witold Was....... (above), one of the Polish confrontationists, claimed the deployment of NATO forces in the region should not be considered as a provocation against Moscow, but rather “a decisive military measure aimed at deterring potential aggressors. Showing weakness is often seen as an incentive for aggression.”

At the time of the incidents at sea, the Polish Defence Minister Antoni Mac..... (below, left) was at NATO headquarters in Brussels meeting with the NATO Secretary-General, Jens Stoltenberg (right), and US General Philip Breedlove, commander of NATO forces in Europe.

According to the Warsaw communique, Mac.... “thanked General Breedlove during talks for taking the Polish point of view into account when planning the deployment of armed forces on the eastern flank, indicating at the same time, that without the presence of international NATO troops, defense would not be effective. General Breedlove expressed his appreciation for Poland’s involvement in work on the development of a plan to strengthen the eastern flank.”

The minister and the ministry have remained silent on the Donald Cook operation. So the ministry spokesman in Warsaw was asked three questions:

There has been no reply from Warsaw.

Like the Gulf of Tonkin incident, another encounter at sea has been twisted to fit an agenda of demonization and in pursuance of the propaganda of "Russian aggression" For the sake of the Baltic states, the Ukrainians and the Polish people I hope they snap outta their delusions before their misguided leaders lead them into the abyss.
