Hypothetical scenarios about what country can outgun what country. An "argument" that is pointless, hence my refusal to even engage in such a "discourse".
By the way, what side do we really expect a Western news media would swing it to? So why bother?

One thing you we should all ask though is based on precedence and history, what country has seen wars through to the end, what country has shown the grit to stomach losses and hunker down no matter how bad the consequences were? And what country has displayed clear cut strategic goals, entry and withdrawal strategies? What country more than other has been bugged down by mission creep and endless wars and has failed woefully and consistently to win the "hearts and minds" of the "conquered" people?

So before we start talking of aircraft carriers, TOPOL-Ms, S-400s, stealth aircraft and what not, we gotta ask what country has wielded the military - and diplomatic - stick the best.

End of story.

Lolz @ Russian propaganda brain chip cheesy Classic!

When a country follows the rule of law they spin it. His brain chip needs an upgrade.

Turkish economy grew 4 percent last year. Russia's economy not so much. Nobody cares about Russia's superficial sanctions

I can see you can't help but jump on my thread even though you had labeled it a thread for Putinbots, crackpots, unserious folks and now Russian brain chips and even pleaded to ur compatriot to steer clear as well - but yet, you are compelled to comment and voice your increasingly irrelevant and vapid views.

About sanctions: i guess Davotoglu shouldn't beg for "superficial" sanctions to be lifted right?

How does this equal Turkey making reconciliatory moves with Russia

"Turkey got the Russian pilot killed & Putin can't do a damn thing about it!!"

This was the unanimous cry from the "exceptionalists" & "indispensable" ones

Russia has asked from the onset for the arrest and persecution of those responsible.

Russia imposed economic sanctions. The sanctions hurt to the point that the Turkish PM openly and unashamedly in a conciliatory tone ssked that Russia drop the sanctions and that their tourists flock back to Turkey.

The efficacy of the sanctions on the Turkish economy is reported by several western news media. <Google is your friend>

Turkey has now arrested a Turkish citizen involved in the killing of the Russian pilot.

No, Turkey isn't seeking a detente in relations with Russia. They are only joking since its April Fool's Day

Details Emerge of Arrest of Russian Pilot's Killer in Restaurant in Turkey

The Turkish newspaper Hurriyet Daily News has published details of the detention in Turkey of the alleged killer of Russian pilot Oleg Peshkov.

Alparslan Celik, the suspected killer of Oleg Peshkov, the pilot of the Russian Su-24 bomber that was shot down by a Turkish jet late last year, was taken from his dinner table at a restaurant in Izmir, according to the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet Daily News.

The newspaper said that Celik allegedly arrived in the Turkish city of Izmir from Syria, where he, his friends and Turkmen forces had fought against the country's government.

According to the Hurriyet Daily News, Celik and 13 others were having dinner at a restaurant in Izmir's Hatay district when they were arrested by local police on March 30.

"They were detained after an unidentified person called the police and said there were men with guns in the restaurant," the newspaper said.

Police seized a Kalashnikov assault rifle and two pistols during the detention, Hurriyet Daily News said, adding that the investigation is already under way.

Earlier on Friday, Turkish police confirmed that the alleged killer of the pilot of the downed Russian Su-24 bomber had beened detained.

No official explanation for Celik's arrest has emerged yet, but Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Moscow will study the reports on Celik's detention and closely follow the developments.

The Russian Su-24 frontline bomber was shot down by a Turkish F-16 jet over Syria on November 24, 2015 and fell 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) from the Turkish border. The crew of the plane ejected and its pilot was killed by fire from the ground, according to the Russian General Staff. The co-pilot survived. The Su-24's pilot, Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Peshkov, was posthumously awarded a Gold Star medal, Russia's highest award.

How They Brainwash Us

Paul Craig Roberts

Anyone who pays attention to American “news” can see how “news” is used to control our perceptions in order to ensure public acceptance of the Oligarchy’s agendas.

For example, Bernie Sanders just won six of seven primaries, in some cases by as much as 70 and 82 percent of the vote, but Sanders’ victories went largely unreported. The reason is obvious. The Oligarchy doesn’t want any sign of Sanders gaining momentum that could threaten Hillary’s lead for the Democratic nomination. Here is FAIR’s take on the media’s ignoring of Sanders’ victories: http://fair.org/home/as-sanders-surges-cable-news-runs-prison-reality-show-jesus-documentary/

We can observe the same media non-performance in the foreign affairs arena. The Syrian army adided by the Russian air force just liberated Palmyra from ISIS troops that Washington sent to overthrow the Syrian government. Although pretending to be fighting ISIS, Washington and London are silent about this victory on what is supposed to be a common front against the terror group.

It has been left to the Independent (http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/why-is-david-cameron-so-silent-on-the-recapture-of-palmyra-from-the-clutches-of-isis-a6955406.html), RT (http://www.globalresearch.ca/russia-questions-the-wests-silence-on-syrias-strategic-victory-against-isis-in-palmyra/5517194) and the Mayor of London to break the silence.

What the Washington/London silence on the victory tells me is that Washington still intends to unseat Assad. The most likely reason for Secretary of State Kerry’s trips to Moscow is to try to work out a deal in which Washington accepts the defeat of ISIS in exchange for Moscow’s acceptance of Assad’s removal. The neoconservatives have not lost control of the Obama regime, and they remain committed to removing Assad for the benfit of Israel. Moscow wants to get along with Washington, and if Moscow is not careful about trusting Washington, Moscow will lose in diplomacy the war it has won.

Yesterday I was stuck in front of Fox “News” for some minutes on both sides of 1:00 PM US East Coast time. It was one of the blonds and some character presented as a terrorism or ISIS expert. It seemed to me that the purpose was to prepare Americans for the next false flag attack. ISIS, we were told, will be branching out and bringing its bombing attacks to America.

All of these bombing attacks have anomalies that the media never notices. Whatever officials say is reported as factual. How these bombings serve Washington’s agendas is never mentioned. The bombings often have the same pattern—brothers who conveniently leave their IDs on the scene. I suppose that having hit on an explanation that worked, the explanation is used repeatedly.

Liberalism has helped to make Western peoples blind by creating the belief that noble intentions are more prevalent than corrupt intentions. This false belief blinds people to the roles played by deception and coercion in governing. Consequently, the true facts are not perceived and governments can pursue hidden agendas by manipulating news.

TERRORISTS ARE FIGHTING EACH OTHER IN LEBANON

ISIS captured several checkpoints and military posts from al Nusra Front

map_of_lebanon

It is reported that ISIS and Jabhat Al-Nusra (Al Qaeda in Syria) are now fighting in eastern Lebanon after a break of confrontation to each other inside the ‘Arsal Barrens of the Beqa’a Governorate.

On January 27, Wednesday afternoon, several firefights were reported between Jabhat Al-Nusra and ISIS at the villages of Wadi Hamid, Al-Zimrani, Wadi Mira, and Al-Khayl in the ‘Arsal Barrens.

These clashes forced both the Lebanese Army and Hezbollah to concentrate their forces to this mountainous region in order to make sure the fighting was not going to spread.

According to the reports, ISIS captured several checkpoints and military posts from Nusra front in the ‘Arsal Barrens, resulting in the expansion of their front-line positions to the Lebanese Army’s territory in the region.

Reports also said that ISIS terrorists did not care much for civilian casualties, as they began to fire dozens of rockets into the Lebanese Army’s territory in Jaroud ‘Arsal, wounding a number of soldiers and civilians in the process.

However, the exchange of rockets and mortar shells, sporadic clashes between the Lebanese Army and ISIS terrorists in Jaroud ‘Arsal, have mark the first time in several months that the aforementioned terrorist group has attacked the pro-government forces.

The Pentagon, the CIA and the White House should get their gaddam story straight! They changing their story all the time is - to be honest - making them all look like a bunch of idieets....

So, OP, in light of ISIS increasingly losing territory and the Pentagon's admission of the efficacy of Russia's campaign - together with the appreciation from the German Foreign Minister and the former US ambassador to Russia- what percentage do you now reckon the Russian airstrikes against ISIS has sprung up to?

The lies, the facade, the sham war all falling apart like a pack of cards...

Pentagon concedes Russia’s ‘constructive role’ in Syrian ceasefire, fight against ISIS

Russia is playing a “constructive” role in the Syrian ceasefire, the Pentagon said, adding that it has seen “developments” on the ground. It encouraged Moscow to “continue to focus” on Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL), while also using leverage over Assad to stop the war."

“It is clear that they have focused more of their military attention on ISIL, we think that’s a good thing,” Pentagon spokesperson Peter Cook said during a briefing in Washington DC. “They said initially that was their primary goal, was to go after ISIL in Syria and they are doing so now.”

Cook added that the US sees “those developments” on the ground, but also hope that the ceasefire in Syria would “ultimately lead to a resolution of the Syrian Civil War.”

In this regard, Cook stressed that peace in Syria depends on Bashar Assad and the changes that he as the President is required to make.

Since the Syrian conflict unfolded five years ago, the US has been insisting that Assad has to step down as a part of a peaceful resolution to the military conflict, which has given way to a jihadist insurgency.

“We're also pushing for the cessation of hostilities that we hope will ultimately lead to a resolution of the Syrian Civil War, but to have that happen will require changes on the part of the Assad regime, and nobody has more leverage, more clout – if you will, than Russia,” Cook said. “We hope that they [Russia] would use that leverage in as constructive fashion as possible, and we would encourage them to do so.”

He went on to say that if the Russians “continue to focus their efforts” on Islamic State, this “would be a good thing.”

Cook’s comments have marked a significant shift in the Obama administration’s tone towards Russia’s actions in Syria.

Last week, the Secretary of State, who traveled to Moscow last week to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, also pointed out Russia’s help in the “strategic interest” of the United States.

“Russia is now helping with the cessation of hostilities. And if Russia can help us to actually affect this political transition, that is all to the strategic interest of the United States of America,” Kerry told the CBS show “Face the Nation”.

Since Russia started its anti-terror campaign over Syria to assist the Syrian army in September 2015, the US has been accusing Moscow of aiming its actions on anti-Assad rebels and targeting civilians, while providing no sustainable evidence.

Yet, assisted by Russian air power, the Syrian troops have been making steady progress in retaking grounds from ISIS. Last week, the Syrian Army achieved one of its major victories after liberating the historic city of Palmyra, or Tadmur. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it had been occupied by jihadists since last May. Until its capture, the city housed some of the world’s best-preserved monuments of antiquity, which had been partially destroyed, including two of Palmyra’s 2,000-year-old temples.

The Syrian Army has also managed to force terrorists out of Latakia and the northern part of Aleppo, the country’s biggest city and commercial hub in pre-war times, and mopped up Hama and Homs Provinces in central Syria.

Palmyra's Liberation Greeted With Praise Despite Silence of Officials

While Western authorities remain “decidedly muted” over the liberation of the ancient city of Palmyra from Daesh terrorists, many Western readers have lavished their admiration on the UNESCO site's liberators when commenting on dry factual articles. Sputnik has compiled a small number of these readers' responses.

While Western journalists wonder why their Western leaders “appear unenthusiastic” over the biggest military defeat of Daesh militants in Syria so far, their readers aren't concealing their admiration of those who fought to liberate the ancient city of Palmyra.

Comments in the US media:

Los Angeles Times

"Dilemma indeed. How to explain to the American public that the US really didn't oppose IS because the US thought IS would deliver the coup de grace to the Syrian government? Instead, IS will soon be driven from Syria by the Syrian Arab Army backed by Russian air power Meanwhile, the CIA backed mercenaries and the Pentagon backed mercenaries are fighting each other in the small corner of northwest Syria not yet controlled by the Syrian government.

No doubt telling the truth will not be an option. Instead we will get more phony 'narratives' duly conveyed by the LAT and other mainstream outlets."

"It took a real man like Putin, in a country that still knows right from wrong, Russia, to solve the Syrian war."

Wall Street Journal

"I wonder if this means the Syrian civil war is once again at risk of ending? If so, what measures can we take to ensure it continues?…the irony here is that it's not clear that I'm being sarcastic. Many here would post the above or close to it in all seriousness."

"Since Putin got involved the situation gets worse for IS! LOL, and Obama said that Putin will leave defeated! O tries to claim to be part of Putin's success now!"

"The USG won't give up its bad habit of overthrowing elected governments it doesn't like. Regime change is one of those euphemisms to muddy the waters, as if calling an elected government a 'regime' legitimizes illegal US aggression against them. Russia has waged a serious war against ISIS in Syria, and against the US-armed, trained and supported groups, many of them affiliated in one way or another with the terrorists and all acting as a proxy US army to bring down Assad. The US goal has never been to stop ISIS, only to show it can still pick and choose other people's governments."

"The advance by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s forces showed how reliant the regime remains on help from Russia, which said Sunday that its warplanes had hit more than 100 targets over 24 hours in the vicinity of Palmyra.

Putin is killing Islamic State terrorists. That's a good thing. This is how it's done Obama, 100 bombs in one day."

Comments in the UK media:

Daily Express

"The West owes Putin a debt of gratitude."

"This is the difference. Obama supports, arms and then apologises for terrorists. Putin destroys them."

"Had the west supported Syria and Assad, Palmyra would still be intact, there would be no drownings, EU would be safer and refugees would still be living at home. Our foreign policy is a foreign disaster."

"Well done Putin. He has the 'balls' that Cameron and the EU politburo lack."

"Who would you most trust to fight and protect the interests of your country — Cameron, Obama, or Putin? Bit of a no brainer really isn't it."

Daily Mail

"America could take some Tips from the Russians.. They get the job done."

"Putin has invited Western countries to assist in the de-mining and cleanup of Palmyra; whether the West does or does not assist it's another public relations coup for the Russian President. Come on Obama, Kerry, Cameron and Hammond, it`s time to call it a day and tell your Wall St bosses that the game is over, and you've LOST."

The Independent

"I could not help but smile when I read that the US command claimed two air strikes against Isis around Palmyra in the days leading up to its recapture by the regime. That really did tell you all you needed to know about the American 'war on terror'. They wanted to destroy Isis, but not that much."

"It is not only Dave that has been quiet, the whole western media have been quiet about it as well. Now if the Americans had liberated Palmyra,it would be front page news, story after story but because it is the Syrians, Hizbollah, Iran and the Russians, it is hardly mentioned. Just goes to show who runs the media in the west."

"ISIS is a 100% western creation, to give the West reason for continuous military presence in the region, for decades to come. That *was* their plan. Now let them mess with Russia if they have the nerve: Turkish F-16 haven't even taken off, since the day the S400's became operational in Northern Syria…"

"Shame that the West Media does not allow its readers access to the true story…"

"The silence of Western leaders over the recapturing of Palmyra is for the same reason the allies during WW2 never once bombed the tracks that took millions of people to the Nazi death camps. Vested class interests. From Standard Oil, Ford, ITT, Coca Cola to IBM, to name a few, that kept the war going.

ISIS is a creation of Western imperialism; oil, political power and profits are the basis of the present silence. The same reason why Turkey keeps the border open with Syria – oil deals with ISIS. For them it's business as usual. The point is us and our response in how we protect our own class interests."

Kerry Balks at Supplying MH-17 Data
March 25, 2016
Exclusive: The father of a young American killed aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 in 2014 says Secretary of State Kerry balks at turning over U.S. data that Kerry cited three days after the tragedy in eastern Ukraine, writes Robert Parry.

By Robert Parry

Secretary of State John Kerry has rebuffed a request from the father of the only American citizen killed aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 for Kerry to disclose the radar and other data that he cited in 2014 in claiming to know the precise location of the missile launch that allegedly downed the airliner over eastern Ukraine killing 298 people.

In a letter to Kerry dated Jan. 5, 2016, Thomas Schansman, the father of American-Dutch citizen Quinn Schansman, asked Kerry to turn over that data to aid the investigation seeking to identify who was responsible for shooting down the plane on July 17, 2014. In a letter dated March 7, 2016, but just delivered to Thomas Schansman on Thursday, Kerry expressed his condolences and repeated his claim to know where the missile launch originated, but did not provide new details.

Quinn Schansman, a dual U.S.-Dutch citizen killed aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 on July 17, 2014. (Photo from Facebook)

Kerry wrote, “The assessment I provided to the media three days following the shoot down remains unchanged, and is corroborated by the findings of the Dutch Safety Board [DSB]. Flight 17 was shot down by a BUK surface-to-air missile fired from separatist-controlled territory in eastern Ukraine.”

But Kerry’s assertion is not entirely correct. Despite Kerry’s claim on July 20, 2014 – three days after the shoot-down – to know the location of the missile launch, the Dutch Safety Board reported last October that it could only place the likely launch site within a 320-square-kilometer area that included territory under both government and rebel control. (The safety board did not seek to identify which side fired the fateful missile.)

Why the U.S. government has dragged its heels about supplying the evidence that Kerry claimed to possess just days after the tragedy has become a secondary mystery to the allegations and counter-allegations about whodunit. That Kerry would not even elaborate on that information in response to the father of the lone American victim is even more striking.

In an email to me with Kerry’s letter attached, Thomas Schansman wrote, “the message is clear: no answer on my request to hand over satellite and/or radar data to DSB or public.”

Plus, Kerry’s credibility has come under a darkening cloud because of recent disclosures undermining his repeated claims on Aug. 30, 2013, that “we know” that Syrian government forces were responsible for the Aug. 21, 2013 sarin gas attack outside Damascus. Despite Kerry’s assertions of certainty in that case, he presented no verifiable evidence and it has since been confirmed that the U.S. intelligence community lacked “slam dunk” proof.

Nearly a year after his “we know” performance regarding the Syria-sarin case, Kerry staged a reprise expressing similar certainty about the MH-17 case – again dumping the blame on the target of an intensive U.S. propaganda campaign, this time Russia, which was backing the rebels in eastern Ukraine. Kerry again failed to supply supporting evidence (beyond some dubious references to “social media”).

Cracks in the Story

Also, some of Kerry’s MH-17 assertions have shown cracks as more information has become available. For instance, despite Kerry’s putting the blame on the ethnic Russian rebels and their supporters in Moscow, Western intelligence now says the only functioning Buk anti-aircraft missiles in the area were under the control of the Ukrainian military.

According to Dutch intelligence – and implicitly corroborated by U.S. intelligence – Ukraine’s Buk batteries were the only anti-aircraft missiles in the area capable of hitting a commercial airliner flying at 33,000 feet. That information was contained in a little-noticed Dutch intelligence report last October citing information from the Netherlands’ Military Intelligence and Security Service (MIVD).

MIVD made its assessment in the context of explaining why commercial aircraft continued to fly over the eastern Ukrainian battle zone in summer 2014. MIVD said that based on “state secret” information, it was known that Ukraine possessed some older but “powerful anti-aircraft systems” and “a number of these systems were located in the eastern part of the country.”

MIVD added that the rebels lacked that capacity, having only short-range anti-aircraft missiles and a few inoperable Buk missiles that had been captured from a Ukrainian military base. “During the course of July, several reliable sources indicated that the systems that were at the military base were not operational,” MIVD said. “Therefore, they could not be used by the Separatists.”

U.S. intelligence, which had eastern Ukraine under intensive overhead surveillance in summer 2014, implicitly corroborated MIVD’s conclusion in a U.S. “Government Assessment” released by the Director of National Intelligence on July 22, 2014. It listed weapons systems that Russia had provided the rebels but made no mention of a Buk missile battery.

In other words, based on satellite imagery and other intelligence reviewed both before and after the shoot-down, U.S. and other Western intelligence services could find no proof that Russia had ever given a Buk system to the rebels or introduced one into the area. If Russia had provided a Buk battery – four 16-foot-long missiles hauled around by trucks – it would have been hard to miss.

There was also logic to support the notion that a Ukrainian team may have been responsible for the MH-17 shoot-down. At the time, the Ukrainian military was mounting an offensive against the rebels, who had resisted a U.S.-backed coup on Feb. 22, 2014, which ousted elected President Viktor Yanukovych, who had strong support among Ukraine’s ethnic Russian minority in the east.

As the Ukrainian offensive claimed territory that the rebels had held, the Ukrainian military moved several Buk anti-aircraft missile batteries toward the front, presumably out of concern that Russia might directly intervene to save the rebels from annihilation.

Plus, on July 16, 2014, a Ukrainian warplane was shot down apparently by an air-to-air missile believed fired by a Russian jet, giving reason for the Ukrainian anti-aircraft batteries to be on edge the next day, looking for Russian aircraft intruding into Ukraine’s airspace.

(Another possible scenario, reportedly examined by U.S. intelligence analysts, was that a rogue Ukrainian team working with a hardline oligarch hoped to shoot down Russian President Vladimir Putin’s plane returning from a South American trip at about the same time and with similar markings as MH-17.)

But the evidence – that the only operational Buk batteries were under control of the Ukrainian military – did not fit the U.S. propaganda needs of blaming Russia and the rebels. Any indication that the post-coup Ukrainian government was responsible would instead put the U.S.-backed Kiev regime in a negative light.

So, it makes sense in a “strategic communications” kind of way for Kerry and other U.S. officials to leave the conventional wisdom – blaming Putin and Russia for the 298 deaths – in place for as long as possible. Kerry told Thomas Schansman that he and the other families of victims should expect a long wait before the perpetrators are brought to justice.

Expressing Condolences

In the letter to Thomas Schansman, Secretary Kerry wrote, “As a father myself, I can only begin to imagine the pain and loss you have endured with your son’s tragic passing. My heart goes out to you and your family.”

Secretary of State John Kerry denounces Russia’s RT network as a “propaganda bullhorn” during remarks on April 24, 2014.

Kerry then added, “This investigative work is not easy, and bringing those responsible to justice will not be a quick process. However, Quinn, your family, and the families of all the others who died that day deserve such justice, and we will continue to do everything possible to achieve it.”

But the “everything” doesn’t apparently include releasing the data that Kerry claimed to have just days after the crash.

On July 20, 2014, Kerry appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” and declared, “we picked up the imagery of this launch. We know the trajectory. We know where it came from. We know the timing. And it was exactly at the time that this aircraft disappeared from the radar.”

In the letter asking Kerry to release that data, Thomas Schansman noted Kerry’s similar comments to a news conference on Aug. 12, 2014, when the Secretary of State said about the Buk anti-aircraft missile suspected of downing the plane: “We saw the take-off. We saw the trajectory. We saw the hit. We saw this aeroplane disappear from the radar screens. So there is really no mystery about where it came from and where these weapons have come from.”

Yet where the missile launch occurred has remained a point of mystery to the Dutch-led investigation. Last October, the Dutch Safety Board put the missile launch in a 320-square-kilometer area. Almaz-Antey, the Russian arms manufacturer of the Buk systems, conducted its own experiments to determine the likely firing location and placed it in a much smaller area near the village of Zaroshchenskoye, about 20 kilometers west of the DSB’s zone and in an area under Ukrainian government control.

Earlier this month, Fred Westerbeke, the head of the Dutch-led Joint Investigation Team, told the families of the victims that the inquiry had yet to pin down the missile launch site, saying “In the second half of the year we expect exact results.” In other words, on the second anniversary of the shoot-down, the investigators looking into the MH-17 tragedy still might not know what Kerry claimed to know three days afterwards.

German FM Praises Russia for 'Dealing Most Significant Blow to Daesh'

The ceasefire in Syria has become ‘the most significant blow' to the terrorists that would have been impossible without the participation of Russia, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier told the German newspaper Berliner Morgenpost.

The politician said that he appreciated Russia's contribution to the Syrian peace process and called for further cooperation between Moscow and the West.

"The ceasefire, access for humanitarian missions, the beginning of peace talks in Geneva — all this would be impossible without the constructive participation of Russia," Steinmeier said.

According to Steinmeier, the truce has delivered a decisive blow to the Daesh terrorist group. The ceasefire took effect on February 27 and is generally holding across the country despite reported minor violations.

"At least for now, government forces and the opposition do not destroy each other and can concentrate all their efforts on the fight against the Islamic State," Steinmeier stated.

According to the politician, there are several reasons behind Moscow's involvement in Syria, among them an attempt to contain the threat of Islamist terrorism and the desire to create a zone of influence in the Middle East. However, the minister stressed, Russia is not interested "in continuous chaos and the total destruction of state structures" in the region.

Russia had been conducting an aerial campaign against terrorists in Syria since September 30 at the official request of the current Syrian President Bashar-al-Assad. In the middle of March, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the withdrawal of the main contingent of Russian forces from Syria, stating that they had accomplished their mission.

Meanwhile on Sunday, the Syrian army confirmed that it had liberated the historic city of Palmyra from Daesh with the support of national aviation and Russian Aerospace Forces.

Palmyra, located 210 kilometers away from Damascus, is considered key for advancing to the Daesh stronghold of Raqqa in eastern Syria.

NairaMinted, Zoharariel ever wonder why Goodnews like this has never made it to NLFP ?

I have noticed the mods have more wesernize followed proper prpaganda theme. In the sense that when Paris was attacked, everybody fell for it just like 9/11.. It was the usual false flag. The Empire of lies want us to believe that ISIS or DEASH are so sofisticated that they can carry out attacks in those places..

Meanwhile they are the one backing this attacks but what is needed is to aggravate the masses to believing in sending boots to syria to save their dieing Terrorists and to achieve the innitial objective that Assad must go. But France went to Syria after that paris attack, it met a very serious Putin that is not ready to back down. After Napolean, France would never confront Russia, face to face and Washington got that message very loud and clear.

Now Belgium itself. The puppet headquaters is being attacked.. The Italian PM has said time to take out Daesh. WHich DEASH ? The one that Syrians are taking out now in Palmyra ?

This is what 9/11 did very well but has since been stuck in Iraq and Afghan. Almost forever.

Now Pamylra is taking back and the empire played the same game during france and now Belgium.

The game has always been like this each time there's an advancement over the terrorists..

Watch, I bet ISIS will attack Washington by the time they take the defacto ISIS headquaters Raqqa..

The have no shame my friend. Imagine the hoopla if it was Amerikan soldiers that retook Palmyra. CNN will run a special program highlighting the "brave men and women" that were in the forefront of winning back our cultural heritage and restoring peace - and so on

Meanwhile, see more love for Putin below;

Thus saith the Lord - Zoharariel Underscore Obatala to his anointed, to Vladimirovich Putin, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue Amerika, Israel, Turkey, Britain & Saudi-Arabia before him; and I will loose the loins of the Anglozionist leaders, to open before him the two leaved Nuclear gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of NATO, and cut in sunder the bars of UN:

And I will give thee the treasures of Amerika, and the hidden riches of the house of Rothschild, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Moskow.

For Spiridonovich my servant's sake, and Putin mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

Once again, my face beameth with a wide smile and is lit bright with the joy and satisfaction that the good Lord hasn't forsaken his faithful and loyal servant Vladimirovich Putin but he has yet again used him as a tool to strike right at the heart of the Hegemon.

God bless Putin, God bless the Russian Armed Forces, God bless the Syrian Arab Army & God bless the good people of Syria whose fate some months ago seemed sealed as a Western styled "democratic & liberated" country such as you would find in present day Libya .... BUT God through his astute and tactful servant, Vladimirovich Putin had other plans for them.

Now unto Deir Ezzor & Raqqa!

Rats caught out in the open swimming in their own lies - the Hegemon State Department literally accuses (again) the Syrian government of colluding with ISIS even as they are the ONLY force defeating them on the ground in Syria ... with Russian support - who despite withdrawing most of their forces is STILL doing more damage to the terrorist organization than Amerika's 1.5 year fake war...

Where does the Amerika get these clowns posing as spokesperson from biko? Compare these lying, sweating, stuttering and twitching emotional wrecks to the lovely and smooth Maria Zarakhova for instance. I think I'll open a thread dedicated to them alone. Lol! tongue

Thread derailment of life!

Well since y'all have derailed it, lemme pitch in my own two cents: Hezbollah is a resistance militia purposely set up to resist the Zionist nation of Israel and its theft of Palestine and Arab land. This is the same Hezbollah that humiliated Israel in the 2006 war and is presently fighting alongside the SAA, the IRG abd Russian special forces to root out a myriad of Jihadist groups supported by the despotic regimes of Saudi Arabia, Turkey & others from Syria. This same Hezbollah lives side by side in peaceful coexistence with other such as Christians, Druzes, etc in Lebanon. Isn't it convenient that as Hezbollah is ruining Saudi Arabia' plans in Syria, Saudi Arabia has strong armed other Arab states to label Hezbollah a terrorist group?

Going back to the original topic, it will interest you to know that over the past couple of days, the SAA has retaken Palmyra - a historical city ironically lost to ISIS some months into the Hegemon's fake bombing campaign- from ISIS, the very same group that the presstitude media of the West is claiming Russian air strikes isn't targeting.

What story hasn't the mendacious western press spun?

- Just a fraction of rebels in Syria are jihadists. The rest -like in now democratic and peaceful Libya - are freedom loving fighters! grin
-Russian is using dumb bombs in Syria
-Russian military will face a quagmire in Syria
-Russian military nothing more than rusty buckets & archaic aircraft
- Russia bombed hospitals in Syria
- Columns of Russian armour was reported seen in Eastern Ukraine
-Putin ordered MH17 to be shot down& is behind the disappearance of MH370
-Putin is a paedophile
-Putin is worth more than $40 billion
- Putin's popularity will tank and there will waves of mass protests
- and so on and on

Well, Russia's brilliant military campaign in Syria ( even secretly admitted in a CIA memo), together with the mumbling and bumbling spokespersons of the Hegemon's State Department has only exposed the duplicity and mendacity of the West and its so called "independent" media which is nothing more than the propaganda mouthpiece of the government.

They should keep churning out such garbage please as it provides entertainment to we discerning ones

WATCH What's Left of Palmyra: First Footage of Liberated City Shown on TV

A Russian TV channel broadcasted for the first time footage of the ancient city of Palmyra, which was recently liberated from Daesh terrorists by the Syrian army and the Desert Falcons fighters.

The bird’s eye video was taken and aired by the Russian broadcaster Rossiya 24. It showed ruins, destroyed buildings and architectural monuments.

On Friday, the Syrian Army alongside the Desert Falcons regained control over the Palmyra Castle, a military source told Sputnik. Government troops and militia units have already taken control over all of the strategic heights in the area.

Daesh militants used the castle for sniper fire and mortar shelling of the heights controlled by the army.

The ancient ruins of Palmyra have been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The city was seized by Daesh in middle-May 2015. Before leaving the city, the Syrian Army evacuated the majority of its residents and the most precious museum antiquities. After Daesh seized the city a number of ancient ruins and temples faced destruction.

This first picture is Maria Zakharova's actual Facebook page condemning the dimwitted SBU chief for his comments.

Finally - and most importantly - the second picture is the actual page of the site ( Ukrainian I might add and whose link I had already provided in my previous post) that first reported the words of the SBU chief.

Now that I have had to take my time to explain it to you chronologically and pictorially in the simplest of manners like a kindergarten would appreciate, perhaps you can now finally see that it's you that has disgraced himself by showing us all (including the "decent" people you begged not to click on the link in panic) that you are lacking in some basic computer and comprehension skills. And please don't tell me Russia propaganda is also controlling Ukranian websites and posting fake news as well! I ain't too bad for a "troll" am I? Lol!

Acting dumb are we grin you should be honorable enough to admit the story you posted is a blatant lie concocted by putin propaganda machinery that has little basis rather than engage in this self deceit.

Hahahahaha! This is f**king hilarious. I can see that the koko here is that u are lacking quite significantly in Googling skills but since I'm such a nice guy, I'll indulge and help you find these links that you claim do not exist:

The first picture shows the site where I picked up this story: Fort Russ. You should check it out sometime. Really cool site.

The second picture is Medvedev's reaction to the SBU chief's twaddle probably whilst the SBU chief was consumed by dementia.

The 3rd picture shows the Kremlin's reaction to the non.sense the SBU chief said.

The 4th picture is Medvedev's actual Facebook page where he condemned the dimwitted SBU chief's comments.

Foreign Affairs / Head Of Ukrainian Security Service Blames Russia For Brussels Attacks by NairaMinted: 11:58pm On Mar 22, 2016
I'll just leave this here so that y'all can see how the United States of Absurdity's mad.ness, imbecility & dimwitdedness has spread to Ukraine...

No further comments needed.

Head of Ukrainian Security Service Blames Russia for Brussels Attacks

Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev called the head of Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Vasily Gritsak "a slowpoke", after he announced a Russian trace in Brussels explosions.

"The head of SBU Gritsak, who announced the involvement of Russia in the terrorist attacks in Brussels, - is a mo.ron," - wrote the Prime Minister on his page in Facebook in the comments under the post with condolences to the relatives of attack victims.

Putin should trace his steps especially we regards to punishing Ukraine because of his beef with the west. Would ever believe Ukraine will award the turk pilot that shot down Russian jet?

These kind of Ukrainians below right? grin They can award ISIS themselves just to spite Russia for all I care. I wouldn't even put it past them. Bunch of loonies.
And I believe you will gladly lurch into that bit of bizarre allegation as yet further vindication that Russia is indeed in the wrong and is indeed losing the propaganda war....

Please don't let your Russophobia cause people to put your rationality or even your sanity into question. There is nothing worth celebrating, note worthy, strategic or sensible in citing the absurdity of the Ukranian junta - which shares no common history/goal or real alliance with Turkey by the way, except for their morbid hatred for Russia - honouring the perpetrator of a blatant act of aggression.
