Mary Ann Regacho, 17, from the Philippines is suffering from the mysterious side effect and has become unrecognisable.

The girl had been suffering from a pimple on her nose which she thought was due to hormones, after giving birth when she was 16-years-old.

However, she became concerned as it lasted for several weeks.

After squeezing the spot, Mary began to suffer from pain after a few days.

It then started to spread across her face. She said it was "like a balloon inflating."

The lump has now taken over her face and affects her vision as the swelling has reached the corner of her eyes, reports The Sun.

The mum-of-one has been trying to cure herself with herbal medication, however nothing has worked.

Mary said: ''I thought it was only a common pimple, but it hurt so much I could not sleep at night. I tried everything to cure it but nothing worked.

"Now, I feel like my face will never be the same again.''

Mary had been unable to afford treatment as her husband, Albert Sales, works part-time in a neighbour's farm without a steady income.

After a year she went to the hospital to have it checked, however she was unable to pay medical bills.

Her husband has appealed to good Samaritans to raise funds.

In a video statement released by Albert, he said: ''I want to ask kind people for donations so we can finally send my wife to a hospital.

''We only earn enough for ourselves and our one-year-old baby so I can't afford her medical bills.''

This got Erica angry and confronted Wathoni, during the argument, Erica referred to Wathoni’s son and asked her to act her age. Wathoni since then remained hurt and refused to talk to Erica.

LSome residents of Delta State – Nigeria have ’ignorantly’ killed a research bird, Peregrine Falcon, which flew from Helsinki in Finland to Nigeria.

The residents responsible for the death of Peregrine Falcon are believed to reside in Ofagbe in the Delta State. It is reported that the bird was considered by the residents of Ofagbe to be a witch the reason they killed it but got to realized it was a research bird afterwards.

It is also believed that the University of Helsinki in Finland owns the Peregrine Falcon that was killed in Nigeria. It is uncertain whether the University sent the bird for research work in Nigeria or it escaped and found its way in Nigeria, Delta State.

Big Brother Naija season 5 winner, Laycon, after hearing the sad movement by his countrymen has taken to social media to show his displeasure. According to Laycon, the Peregrine Falcon is one of the fastest birds in the world and has just been killed by the residents of Ofagbe in Nigeria – Delta State.

The peregrine falcon historically known as the duck hawk in North America, is a widespread bird of prey in the family Falconidae. A large, crow-sized falcon, it has a blue-grey back, barred white underparts, and a black head. It travels 390Km/h and 40-60 mph. It is arguably the fastest bird in the sky.

Members of a local vigilante group have nabbed a suspected phone thief in Benin City, Edo State.

It was gathered that the suspect was shot in the leg while trying to flee after allegedly dispossessing a victim of her phone.

A witness who posted the photos on Saturday morning November 21, wrote; "Another phone thief caught and shot on the leg by vigilante in Benin City. Expose the bad. Edo will be great again."
