Go through Belgium embassy oooo.
hehehehe! We have heard majority of success cases from applicants that applied in India and 1 or 2 successful applicants that applied in Georgia(rare but successful - 3 weeks waiting period.) and we have heard slight delays from Belgium and Egypt.

If coming down to estonia, is georgia visa good? if it is, wat type of visa and how can someone get to estonia easily frm there?
Estonian Embassy in Georgia, You should be ready to wait about 3 weeks for your Estonian visa to be ready. its preferable to early starters!

My brother US dey learn work believe you me. I majored in security and the odds here are just so much in favor of Estonia way more than the US. Do a little bit more of research before you just assume because of big name countries. NATO wasn't foolish to make Estonia the HQ of the cyber security division, in terms of population Estonia is not even as populated as the smallest state in Nigeria (Bayelsa) so it is quite foolish to think that the US with such huge population and almost the same facility would be better at it than them. I'm currently participating in a cyber security training session organized by Oxford University and guess what, they decided to do it in Tallinn. I don't like arguing blindly so if you feel I'm not saying what I'm saying on good authority then no problem because you can explore. They might not catch you immediately but eventually they will.... grin Mark my words grin
@bold : I laugh in swahili!! grin grin grin

But Good advise though - great work keni!

It's against the rule of this forum, just reminding of that.
Agreed!

Thanks for your comment. But the word private is clear as it should be. Meaning it between me and the aforementioned names.
The word private should be respected and pardoned!. Not all questions are asked on public forums!

It is left for the mentioned parties to decide, more so, the mentioned parties are pioneers of this forum - no cause for alarm. grin

That being said - i know we are here to help and protect the contributors of this forum. Had it been AmEagles was requesting a private communication with a newer member, I would have advised against it. angry

please someone should answer this question, did u guys pay the tuition fee before u were given the admission letter or u pay on arriver in Estonia? thanks!
To my knowledge, if your course is not tuition-free, payment of fees is required before admission letter is given.

Uzhi's advice was regarding travel insurance, not the one year insurance, Uzhi is also using Swiss care
Oh ok. Whats the difference between both companies and what they offer.?

Which insurance did you purchase and what was the mode of payment? Trying to buy one from Swiss Care, but my visa debit card is not being processed.
Hello,

If i can remember, uzhi stated the best to use is aiico insurance. That is what my cousin bought. #31800 for 1 yr and it covers 30,000euro per requirement.

Also, i will keep you all updated after his interview scheduled for this week.

for those of us that dont know about this - incase you have an expired annex 4, you can call you school and they will re-issue updated annex 4 in less than an hour after you call them.

Thank you.

Lol @ jolly friend
But actually
My school offered me hostel accommodation, all I just did was to print out the mail of the offer.
lol! Ok. Offer of accommodation? TTU didn't send any accommodation offer to my cousin! though he applied for it. Will just tell him to print the application.

If you are attending TTU, which of the houses did you apply to.
He applied for - Akadeemia tee 5 and Siidisaba 7

Clefcentfelix:
Yeah Uzhi is right, I'm his jolly friend with passport issued from kwara.

Firstly lemme apologise for being a ghost member, it was due to some difficult positions I was in, I'm sorry,

I'm in Delhi and I had my 'interview' today. As a way of making up, please just feel free to ask questions. I will answer the ones I know. For the general use these were the docs I submitted with my application, please note that you need photocopy of each document, the originals will be for Trp and photocopy for visa processing

For TRP
1. TRP completed application form(from Estonian police website)
2. Annex 2 (source same as above)
3. Annex 3( source same as above)
4. Annex 4 (sent by your school, valid only for two months)
5. Certificate of proficiency in English (source same as above)
6. Curriculum Vitae (from police website)
7. Insurance cert
8. Guarantee letter ( to accept to do another insurance if what you have now doesn't meet requirements)
9. Letter of justification ( just like motivation letter)
10. Photocopy of ur passport data page
11. I used my payslip and my statement of account (note that this may vary if u are using a sponsor )
12. Enrolment letter from your school
13. Proof of accommodation

For visa
1. Print out of application form filled online (please endeavour to fill this one online, people who didn't were asked to go and do it online)
2. Itinerary plan ( when u plan to travel to Tallinn , airline you plan to use and the flight number, this is just tentative but it's required )
3. photocopies of items 5,7,8,10,11,12&13

I think I covered all,

There are two fees to be paid 5650 Rupees for Visa and 4590 Rupees for TRP.

Please relax, this is not as difficult as the first stage, it's a friendly environment and they end the interview by saying "enjoy your studies"

Thanks for forgiving me! grin

Thank you Jolly Friend. How did you go about accommodation because that is the only thing needed/not clear enough. Is it hotel booking, hostel booking or what exactly.

Thank you.

Well said!!! I know some people might have this question. Kindly enlighten everyone with accommodation steps. Best option for a newbie!

ChiJosh2:
Guys, girls,

Ladies and gentlemen,

I am no expert in student admissions but I can give you really helpful info that can save you a lot of hassle with embassies and consulars. Having worked with them for over five years and currently studying IR, I can say this for sure, "they are humans and all you need is proper documentation".

You´ll have to be generous when going for interviews. I´ve heard many people return from embassy interviews weeping and complaining about how wrong the consular treated them. But the truth is that they went very unprepared. As long as your papers are complete, no embassy has the right to turn you down. Okay, my bad, they actually can turn you down. But then, go prepared. Not with stories for mouth rather with complete paper documentation to back up your claims.

Another thing is many people ask me about which bank statement to use. It is actually simple guys. Be logical and understand how this foreign cultures work. Oyinbo man no dey sponsor another man pikin go school. Thatś like an African thing. So, when you go to the consular with bank statement of another family it seem to the consular that you are a fraud. Because such thing do not happen in their culture. In fact, no company will put its money down to pay for all your tuition here. That is a fairytale. It is a no no! If you must use any bank statement Please and please use one that has your family name on it. Shikina!

What else o?! As for insurance, I can help you with that. If there is anything just holla! I cant think of anything now. Going through India should be fine. Try get a hotel in Pahaganj. I´m not sure of the exact spelling now. I´ll check google later. But Pahaganj is close to the Estonia embassy in New Delhi. Better to go in group so the price can be shared.

Be sure to go the airport with all your papers o! Dont go there with your papers locked in your big bag. They will bounce you back. Hold all your papers, including your admission letter. Be generous enough to present them to the immigration officers when they ask their silly questions.

Another important thing is to write the Estonian embassy beforehand. No dey do Naija style of appearing like angel from heaven without prior notice. Dem will bounce you! Write them earlier to inform them about your coming. Then print out your email conversation as proof of your invitation. These things are very important.

Key point: Be sufficiently documented. No telling stories offhead.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for reading.

Load up your phone and put a call through to them that's the best option mail might delay too. calling them is the best option as they almost gave me hypertension until I started giving them series of call
Yes, calling is always the best as long as you are not sending emails to study@ttu.ee asking for updates, takes them about 2 weeks to even see your email via that address.

But sending to the international admission officers directly also help!

I am glad majority of the applicants are receiving their letters.

Success to every1!

grin grin grin LOL.

Indian Embassy: Cousin went to the embassy to secure a closer date. His original date was July 27 which of-course is too far. They were able to reschedule his appointment to just 4 days closer...23rd July.

LOL grin Whats the difference??

I guess he needs to try underground way! Anyone with reliable ideas/contacts?

Thank you

omitobi:
Uzhi you mean they would process the Visa without payments?
Indian embassy is the same. They will process before you pay visa fee which is after you are approved.

They seem to give preference to those that have appointment for the day. I was not prepared to stay long there as I had to get back to work.

Still surprised that those who have gotten their own visas have suddenly gone silent instead of sharing their experience for the benefit of others even though they are not obliged to but it will be highly appreciated.
I actually thought the same thing.
They would ask questions and comment and bla bla bla during their process but when they receive their visas, they will just go mute! Yes we know you have a lot of preparations to do but at least... little 2-3mins of your time will be appreciated.
I am sure they will come back here to ask more questions on phase 2.

Will be waiting with arms akimbo!

@chimamachi guy how far how do you manage to book india lagos appointment, i fil the form and about to book appointment i put the the, code i noted down, yet no show
If i'm understanding you very well - complete the filling of the forms and upload a copy of your passport photo, it should give you a confirmation number which starts with NGA***** at that point you can choose a date.

If it says date is not available, you will have to continue to try and get a date by clicking on print registered application from the homepage tabs, select Lagos and put in the NGA**** number and other infos, then select get appointment but i believe after about a week, you wont be able to look for a date again.

Guys I just ENIC/NARIC confirmation as positive. I have been informed to apply for accommodation but I am yet to get the acceptance letter. Please how long does it take TUT to send acceptance letter after confirmation of transcript is positive.
Call them like everyday if you can. The more the same person hears your name, the more serious they take you. #justsaying - per coz's experience.
