I just want to read and ignore but for the benefit of others - Sometimes we just worry ourselves unnecessarily. We have said it times without number that SA does not have an Embassy but a Hon consulate. Only Embassies in Egypt, India, Georgia, Turkey (For Nigerians i would say) and others can issue Visas/TRP. Now Georgia and Egypt are not being talked about by many. India is beginning to act like they actually matter.

I agree - God first but at the same time, heaven help those who help themselves.

If person put up a suggestion, don't be quick to attack person. The other time wen I was talking about posting docs together to save cost, na u come tackle me say na foolish idea, say d school go reject am. Even wen I explain say I have confirmed from d school if it is possible, u still went ahead to rain various name calling on me (I can still remember d words u used to describe me), I just bone u.

I later send my documents with 4 other person i.e 2 bsc and 2 MSc, through DHL and we all got admitted. In life, even wen u feel d suggestions doesn't go well with u, just offer ur own suggestion without making d other person look stupid or foolish. These is a forum where we all share valuable information to help each other out. So dat those coming behind us doesn't make d same mistakes we made.

I didn't say dey won't give u if I go by urself but, I am just say na 50/50 chance even wen all ur docs dey complete n correct. But if u go through agent, dem go help u bribe dem and get u ur visa without headache. It is just a function of penny wise pounds foolish going by urself.

(See d mail I got from wakanow below on visa application). I Won't just come here to give unnecessay info if I don't have basis for such information. U can pay a visit to their site to view all other services dey offer aside ticket n hotel booking or visit their office.

104k(wakanow) - 80k (when you handle yourself) = 24k extra. If this is a sure route, i wont advise against it! If you can pay 80k, then you can pay 24k extra.
One of my persons got interviewed, was told to pick up visa and on the day of pickup, called him in for another interview. Collected his passport from him(that has his Indian visa on it) and ripped the visa off the passport.

Now, Indian embassy is being hard on applicants but not all.So just be prepared if you are going yourself. I mean be prepared.

Don't go to Indian embassy on your own! Try to arrange with trusted agent! Any small error or mistake na NO! Indian embassy don dey deny visa anyhow now. No more date reschedule.

If your pre-payment was made from Naija, it takes some time which i am not sure of. Most of my peeps had theirs paid by a friend in Estonia and it was confirmed the next day as he is using the same bank as the school.

Did you call them yet? They should send you a documentation stating you have been accepted. A letter of some sort addressed to the embassy you are applying from. But if they sent you a message "telling you to go to the embassy and if the embassy has any issue, embassy should contact them", then thats your letter.

And for those who on a tight budget, I want to let you guys know that, Travel Insurance is not really necessary. Also, however, you can be given more than a month Entry visa as one of my friends was given 2months Entry visa in April. Just make sure you fill more than a month visa in your online application form.

More so, it is not compulsory that you must use two Bank account statement. If you are being sponsored , use your sponsor Bank statement. If you are sponsoring yourself, use your own Bank statement. However, if you work and still have a sponsor, then you can submit your sponsor Bank statement and yours too.

At the same time , student can notarize their documents from a certified notary public instead of going a long way to Ministry of Education, Abuja.

Note : Make sure you submit your sponsor's identification document and documents to show a source of legal income. If s/he is a civil servant, you will need (His/her) a copy of employment letter, tax clearance and payslips. If your sponsor runs a Business, CAC certificate is okay to show the business is genuine and registered.

Make sure your documents are complete so that you won't be asked to come back as Indian embassy, Lagos can frustrate your life if your documents ain't complete.

Anyways, 2 got approved. One was told to bring email print on Monday showing the school emailed the embassy. He printed the auto-reply that was forwarded to him instead of the email sent to the embassy.

Will post final update on Monday. 2 down, 1 to go.

6. Certificate of enrollment.
7. Flight and hotel reservation: www.wakanow.com
8. Sponsor's Bank statement and Copy
9. Personal Bank Statement and Copy
10. Original Academic Documentations and Copy.(Waec, BSc Cert or whatever): Documents were verified by Ministry of Education
11. Email Print from Institution stating they sent your certificate of enrollment to the embassy
# 2 and 6 are from your institution.

If Sponsor own business: Cert of Registration and Memorandum.

EuroAkadeemia will send you an invoice of 150Euro after the interview.
After a successful payment, they will send your Annex 4 directly to the Embassy of your choice which they will ask after the interview but in most cases India.
They will only send you a conditional Letter of acceptance to take with you to Indian Embassy in Nigeria and to Estonian Embassy in India.
They will send you a message which can be used in place of Annex 4 as they will send your Annex 4 to the embassy directly but you will need to print that message as proof.

Yes, the scratch card is needed but that wasn't stated on their website as it has not been updated.
But you can email the school and tell them whats going on and they will tell you what to do but ask for the email option specifically.

Did he email a copy of his application form to them? If he hasn't, tell him to do that and call them first thing tomorrow. I believe as long as your application gets to them before deadline, he is covered.
