syndikate: Hello all,
Am here again 2 ask d same question which is as anybody sin a date or booked 1 in d last 2weeks? Its bin really sometin else as l cant view any available date. Got peeps with the same issue, dey will rectify it. dizyfrenzy: hey guys, i have a few tips i wanna share with you guys based on what i experienced at the embassy when i went for my interview, and i hope it helps those that want to go to abuja embassy. first thing i would advise is that you should be very prepared when going there, have a very good explanation for everything they ask you, and be prepared to answer at least one academic question cos the guy in counter 8 and 9 would always ask you one question based on what you have done, if youre going for masters, he could ask you to tell him about your undergraduate project. i would also advise against going to the embassy without your waec result if youre going for undergrad in the u.s the guy in counter 9 denied someone because the girl didnt come with her waec result. i went for my own intervioew and i was given the visa without gre, gmat, toefl or any tests, thats why the guy would ask you academic question. he asked one guy "what is standard deviation", he asked another guy "what is the square root of -1, thirdly, you dont have to dress too corporate cos they dont even care about that(i went there with a round neck t-shirt, jeans and sneakers). and always try as much as possible to say the truth, the men there especially the guy in counter8 has a way of knowing when youre lying to him, if you wanna lie, be damn well good at the lie and it should be a very reasonable one. last but not the least, pray to God so that you wont have to go meet the chinese woman, God will help everyone going for interview next and we'll all smile at the end of the day Wise One!!! dizyfrenzy: hey guys, pls can anyone advise on how to get cheap flights for august pls, i'd like to go to new york first before heading over to d.c Sure, u book now for Emirates, U are good to go!! the cheapest i can see except u wanna go with EGYPT AIR, www.wakanow.com to know price ranges. but no book with them ooo, go the site of the airline! my little Quarter!! |

@timo! Timotee: @ House: I've been trying to book another visa interview appointment after my initial denial but my initial visa application fee receipt is still being listed on my page and it doesnt give me any provision to change the old receipt number to the new one and fixing a new interview date with d old receipt number would amount to fraud. Does anyone who has re-applied for a visa interview date know how I can get over this challenge? Thankz! were you able to rectify this problem? and if yes, how long did it take you. |

Godeagle: Congratulations to ciscoSE & nairaspace! And to all those still in line, I say congratulations in advance!
Thanks mohaka. Persistence certainly pays off. The SEVIS fee is valid for 1 yr or so, even if you change program. So all your new school needs to do is update your sevis record when preparing your I-20. The new sevis number will be in your new I-20 so you will not need to pay again. You shouldn't have a problem unless the school does something crazy like not updating the record before issuing I-20, which is unlikely. Thanks again bebure, I've seen some good deals. I'll need to make a choice between Qatar & Turkish airlines, both are less than $1600. No Try turkish! USE qatar, i heard that turkish once negleted the students at their airport sometime ago, so QATAR is good, IM me on onlyfair_boy make we rob minds! whats ur id man |

ciscoSE: Folks,
I had my emergency student visa interview scheduled for Abuja at 1PM yesterday (29TH). The Chinese lady scrutinized everyone she interviewed thoroughly and was very detailed so she is definitely a tough cookie but remember as long as you are composed and legitimate you should be fine.
Fortunately i had the nice guy he asked me several questions which i will share shortly. I was given the green ticket and i was granted a visa. In my euphoria i cant remember when they asked me to come collect the visa however i will go back on Monday to pick it up as everyone given before me were asked to come on Monday for there visa's.
Congratulations to everyone that got there visa's today and for those that didn't get it please don't loose hope, learn from your mistakes and also this forum and go conquer.
I should be out of this joint Monday after collecting my visa or Tuesday and headed for Louisiana. Thank God for you. That guy nice finish, you no see the way God help me tackle am? i knew you would get it. Thank God for us. omo u dey vex ooooooo;, tuesday? guy add my on messengers via onlyfair_boy |
