Your income cannot be used. Anyone you have that can sponsor should use the USCIS poverty guidelines to do the calculations. So if they will add you to the number of their household, then what they make should be greater than the number indicated for that specific household size and they should provide all those listed document for co-sponsor. It is not difficult. Once you provide that and submit via dhl, then you are good to go and expect ur visa on ur passport when it is returned.

I took a screen shot showing Lagos and it’s about 3k plus for family preference category and 4k plus for immediate relative. Only one or two more countries have it worse than us in Lagos

I understand your frustration and feelings but no matter what it is, you don't get angry. You are not entitled to campus housing which is the reason you applied for it -you might get an offer or not. That is why you don't put all your eggs in one basket, plan otherwise in case of disappointments like this. don't be surprised, you might get a room when you arrive. Talking from experience, my cousin rented a room upon arrival but was later offered on-campus housing a month later. They waitlist students because so many people defer their admissions.

I'm also following the Turkey thread. Not all things you read online r true. Besides, I remember I told mentioned it here that an agent said Turkey gives visa once your docs are checked and you are asked to pay. The processing time is just a week

That was why i was shocked about my peeps. Documents were intact, they were asked to pay and after a week - denied. LOL

Oops it expired on may 15th? Is it not a continuous process or there is a reason for specific date? Are they coming back to naija after getting their visa there or they will enter estonia from because am looking at it that is too earlier for a semester starting September. Also did they use tourist visa or student visa? How much is Russia Visa application?

It wasn't even a tourist or student visa. It was an entry permit for a world event. All passports can enter as long as the person can acquire the entry permit which actually took less than 2weeks to be approved for electronically. I shared the process with a couple of people that messaged me privately but the time line was very close, you have to leave Russia July 12th and you cant overstay. That was also the reason i was saying whoever wants to go should be ready to fly June 15th.
My guys are returning to Nigeria after that whole process, they are awaiting D-visa to be issued.

3 peeps made it to Russia and have applied for TRP and D-visa. Wish i found the info earlier than May 15th.

The event/visa free exemption is between June 15th and July 12th.
